The "case" as you call it is the customization that each cellular provider orders for their version of the Hermes. It would be easier for you to just order an unlocked Hermes in the style that you like, then add in the software settings to enable your cellular services.

hehe rather not mine is brand new, i just got a new o2 trion today because mine had the SA-issue. and it was 6 months old, now its brand spanking new

I have an O2 XDA that I hadn't used in several months (I was waiting for my Serial Cable to show up - don't ask why it took several months to show up). When I placed it on the cradle again, the unit came on and the screen was mirrored and jagged . Please see the image to understand what I mean...

I sure did... But to no avail.
I contacted O2 and thankfully it is still on warranty and they will take a look at it...
Any way to re-lock the O2?

This was a common hardware problem on the first generation iPAQs (36xx series), which were also manufactured by HTC (the company that makes the XDA hardware). It happened to my iPAQ 3650, and the only fix was to send it back to Compaq to be repaired. IIRC, it's just a loose connector, or something, inside. Hopefully, O2 will take care of it for you.

I had this effect on my XDA recently, but it was much worse than shown in that pic. Sent it back to o2 and it needed a new screen.

I did a search couldn't find anything. I'm looking at the wizard service manual and saw the black keypad on the part lists. where can i get one or which ver. of the phone have the black keypad?
i want to paint my phone, but would like to have the black keypad.

Mt T-mobile MDA (US) has the black keypad and the blue blacklight - not sure if thats what you mean.
PS: This topis has zero to do with wizard upgrading so not sure this is the forum for it.
im looking for the the black keyboard button just like the pictures. im stating the "t-mobile mda (us)" because that the verison i have. since there are different type of wizard like the cingular 8125 which look different. hope that clarify it.

so
is my hd2 original?
is it made in taiwan or china ? are there any differences between them ?

On the backside of the phone it's notice "Made in Taiwan" also on the box.
On the battery there is mention "Made in China"
mine says china but its a t8585 model

Comes with a spare battery which is not unusual for a china made phone.

This is very ugly, I wish to buy the original back panel without the CE, where can I buy it?
2) Is there a way to increase the quality of photo ? It seems that it doesn't come from the hardware because it is very good. It seems that the software isn't good enough for that.
Will they upgrade it ? Do you use different tool to take picture ?
