Hello,
I am fighting to apply Polish T9 dictionary to my Oxygen phone using the T9 library taken from other HTC smartphones (SPV C600), but they doesn't work or work excluding sms writing (the phone has no Polish localization).
So there is my big ask to all users of OXYGEN to send me please a file usually named T9polishLdb.dll form that phone (usually in \Windows folder) which is used by T9 dictionary function.
Is it possible dear users? I hope so
Best greetings to all,
Robert A.

Hello,
I have an english version of Oxygen, but I am from Poland - can I put polish t9 dictionary into this phone?
Best greetings;
Robert A.
Also, note down the language ID of your language. This is useful when playing with the registry. You can find a handy list here (Look at the LCID Hex column):
http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/referen...setup/lcid.mspx
1. Store your DLL (T9RomanianLdb.dll)
Place your language DLL in a folder under \Storage\Windows\
2. Edit the registry
Now, over to the registry goodness. There are two places you need to play with. The first one is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\T9 Input Method\MUI\Languages
Click on the Available value and edit it. Add your language ID to the list and save. If you want to be extra fancy, place them in alphabetical order, as the list wont get sorted, it will just be read from beginning to end and your languages will be placed in that order.
Now, click back a couple of times and select the LDBs folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\T9 Input Method\LDBs
Here, add a New Value (String value) for each new language you are installing, the name of the Value is the Language ID and the Value Data is the path to the language file, for instance:
Example:
Value: 0418
Value Data: \Storage\Windows\T9RomanianLdb.dll
Reset and go
Reset your phone for the above to take effect. You can now select your new language from the dropdown text type menu, for instance when writing a text message.
Thanks a lot Sir!
Thanks for your answer I will check it in just a moment
Anyway, I am from Poland, not Romanian, so I will have to find a T9polish.dll;-) Hope it will be possible.
Best greetings,
Robert A.
I have T9polish.dll , I will UP.
T9 Languages for Win Mobile
Woow, So Big Big Thanks for you
You will be my Salvation Sir;-)
Hope it will work when I apply it to my phone.
I was writing about 7 letters to different HTC support in Europe (Denmark, Poland, Germany) and nobody wanted to help with this. Their adivce was: Go to shop and buy anyother phone. I was asking them to send me ROM image file of Polish version of WM5, then I was asking them of Polish T9 and no help anywhere.
By the way - do you know if there is Polish version of Windows Mobile 5 for this phone? Would be great to get it;-)
Once more thank you and best greetings,
Robert A.

Guys, hello and thanks for your all efforts.
I am planning to re-flash my rom but it's been three months and there become lots of autocomplete entries for my keyboard. I want to carry the file to my new rom.
So where does windows mobile keep the dictionary's autocomplete file ?
thanks for your interest, for a newbie
if I'm not mistaken...
Backup dyncompdict.dat in /Windows directory. or you can make fresh with MikkoPPC. Try googling..
Hi Guys,
This is a question that I have posted already in a few threads and I second that remark since I want to reuse my input words too, but dyncompdict.dat is not the file. This file doesn not exist in the Windows folder. Of course there is a file, since the words return after a restore of my backup, but I don't know what it is and where to find. I guess it is a binary file and I read on the internet somewhere that it is limited to 9000 bytes.
I hope that someone has a solution. Thx anyway

Hi... dyncompdict.dat is input user automatically added if words entered not in list of default language and it can be reset. For office mobile (Word) use others file. dynacompdict is just for autocomplete in default keyboard. I made clean dyncompdict.dat with MikkoPPC.

Sorry Espiem, I don't know which OS version you are using, but there is no
dyncompdict.dat or dynacompict.dat in my OS version which is Touch XB and this file does not exist in the Touch IX or VIII or VII.
I keep trying.

Never mind. Just create it with MikkoPPC. Trust me.... it won't do any harm to your PPC. Anyway I'm using Touch X.

i was user of symbian, and for symbian i was able to pick what languages to flash to rom, but on htc i do not have that option.
wasnt checking wince files, but i assume all rom files should load language from external file.
and, allso, i saw one awsome 6.5 rom on spanish...too bad i dont understand that language.
oh, yes, i have croatian keyboard and z and y are exchanged with standard roms, is there any way to fix this ???

i have required tools for cooking.
best regards
wook
oh, btw, i have hermes and wimo6.5 pro by josh (first one from hist thread) (test one).

solved with RevRom7.
now german keyboard fits perfect hehehehe
only, i miss symbols in inputs.
but i have new issue.
i made new bootloader splash image, created nb, put it in nbh and flashed my phone, but after that,
about 20% of screen (bottom part where letters are) was white, and rest was ok.
is it because image was too large? or ???
best regards

My friend, first things first...
many thanks for your post !
In addition since I'm a newbie too, what's the procedure to convert my MIO A702 from English WM6.5 to Greek one and also if anything go wrong, what's the procedure to go back to the English version ?
I'm Thanking you in advance !
@takthetank
i know it is offtopic, but i must ask... how did you add the greek holidays at your phone, as shown it the last image? Is it through the calendar? or an application?
You should have a gmail account and synchronizing it with your phone, through ActiveSync. Then just follow the instructions here: google-calendar-eortologio!!!

I have the same question. I want to translate and cook my ROM. I have the original WWE dumped. I could use some Help. Generaly I am looking for the easiest way of translating a ROM.
Solution found !!!
Dear Helleenes friends,
found the solution in this program: GREEK LENG FOR WINDOWS MOBILE POCKET PC
it's not so expensive ($49,95), Greek MIO's service demanded 60 Euros to install the Greek ROM.
Since I'm not allowed (yet) to attach an external link, make a Google search using:
Penreader Greek Language Support
and you'll find it. You can download it for a free trial, to see if it works with your device.
And the most important is that the program just translate the full menu,
in case you want to "return" to the English version all you have to do is to unistall it
By the way WORKS FINE with my MIO A702 !!!
Hope that was helpful.
Since you have your original rom already dumped you're gonna need one more rom, which is in GREEK and is for your device.
Them it's just a matter of opening both roms with osKitchen and copy paste the language files from one to the other.
If you already have the greek rom PM me to give you more help!

Unstable ROM
I tried this ROM on my HTC Mega, and i was suprised in a bad way that this ROM created problems from the first moment. The problem went so far that my usb connenction with my PC disconnected and reconnected in intervals of seconds, so that a flashing back even almost bricked my pda.
Hi, i like rom. Please new link. Check link
