Hello all,
Is there a way to see the next appointment on the homescreen when the appointment is only in 3 days? normally the appointment will be show only 1 day before. Maybe there is a registry hack for this.
Thanks Yoshi

I have three scheduled alarms on my phone: two for weekdays, 5 minutes apart and one on Sunday. Last week the daily alarms went off and the Sunday alarm too yesterday. Today the weekday alarms did not sound although they appear to still be set in the clock app. I set these alarms three weeks ago. Stock G2 with Locale installed. Anyone else sufferring the same problem?
If you ever close down the clock application with taskmanager then it loses the alarms while still showing a icon in the status bar. You will have to open the clock program and uncheck, then check the alarms again to make them work.
Other than that I dont know, I havent had problems with my alarms.

Thanks Both. I was playing about with the new TasKiller app yesterday and accidently did a 'kill all' so this would explain the problem. I have tried Svarto's fix. Seems like Android needs a more robust process startup system
I have a few personal tasks that i need to do at a specific time of the day and at time i am too busy and forget about it
I am looking for an app that will pop up reminder (and play sound) at a set time. Also need to be able to do repeat event so i dont have to program it everyday. So it sort of like the calender that come with android but since the calender on the galaxy does not allow me to customize the reminder ring tone. I cant hear a "beep" when i am in a busy environment.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I just use the alarm on the clock app
you can use the alarm clock on the phone
you can set the exact time.the ringtone it plays.
and you can set the days you want it to ring
Oh DUH!!! i'm thinking too hard. Thanks for your helps. It did exactly what i wanted.
Hello,
Is there a way to hide the end time of appointments in the calendar Sense (change of registry, new key ...)?
hi. I just got an atrix, used to have a galaxy S. On my galaxy S, when i would set a new event in the calendar, (for example - August 10th, 2011 - Soccer Game at 5pm)...on that day, at 5pm the phone would start ringing the notification ringtone and an icon for a reminder would appear in the top taskbar.
i am trying to do this with the atrix, but i just can't do it! I dont know what i'm missing here. i open the calendar, hit menu>more>new event...then i add the event name "soccer game"...change start time to 5pm on August 10th, and then hit save. but, when that time comes around./..nothing happens. No ringing of notification ringtone, no reminder on screen. What am i missing here? What is the thing for "add reminder" for? Do i need to push the green plus symbol (which then says 5 minutes)? So confused, please help. Thanks.

ROM? 1.83?
I believe you have to set it to notify you when your setting the event. I always set events and always get notified like your saying

Yes you do have to set that reminder! The green plus is for multiple reminders, if you want to be notified an hour before and again 5min before. Also you can set that reminder to notify you in your status bar or email you or both.
Hey,
I would like to make a task that at some point in the evening (lets say 8) scans my calendar 24h forward and sets an alarm clock 1 hour before my next appointment.
