I cant test in my home becsause i only have coverage of 3G.

I think the only was is a speed test.
i have isntaled the cab for xda live...but nothing hapens...

Did you read the note about the cab that is says it runs silently. so check your speed test.

What am I looking for exactly in the fieldtest. That is alot of numbers and rows in that program.

Its a file that is in startup windows folder.....i deleted by mistake...
now, i know what 3G is, and i can get it every here and there in my city.
( Orange,CA ) but please do tell me about HSPDA and where, if anywhere, i can get a map shwoing where it has been rolled out?
Also, if i do the Enable HSPDA in HTweakC, and soft reset, will it automatically switch to HSPDA if its availible to me when around? I use BandSwitch, and when using it i set it mostly to G (Edge) because i get much better cell reception. But if i change it to UMTS, if HSPDA is near will it automatically goto that? Or is bandswitch not allowing it to?
Sorry for the newbie Q's on this, but some clarification would be GREAT!

Look in the HSPDA Column and see if you have anything above ZEROs. If you have them it means that HSPDA is connected. If you want to know everything that is about the fieldtest, look in the FTP and you will find a documentation on it.

The only suggestion I have after doing some searching for you, is , if you are using BSB tweak to enable Wireless N, some people have seen weird data issues with it, I myself have seen it as well ...

Try just turning off all the Network tweaks in BSB, the Wireless N one is the one reported to cause the problem ...
done it but problem still exist n same..anyother solurltion guys?

That is a fairly old radio rom you have on there, may try checking the radio rom threads for one that works on your phone, try out a couple of them see which one works better ...
Just be sure it is a compatible one before you flash it ...
If I find one I can suggest I will post back ...

this is a problem in usa with t-mob bcoz they are upgeading their towers fir 4g so this ptobkem exust tgere and
in uk o2 have same prob..wth network rmthats why it happening with me just at my work not at home...si it is network problem not hardware or mobile itself..

Wow... I barely understood any of that...
BsB Tweaks WifI-N is problematic and does cause data problems. If you can, switch your router to B/G/N mode and just use WiFi-G (can't imagine you are doing anything on your HD2 that would require N speeds). If you can't switch your router, think about getting a second router and running it in tandem with your N router. You can also try the registry hacks (google it) to enable WiFi-N, but I believe that is what BsB is doing.
There's a reason HTC didn't enable WiFi-N and it's because it's unstable on some devices and a battery hog.
Also, update your radio to AT LEAST 2.07 (2.11/2.12 is probably recommended).
Well seeing as I can't post in the dev forums because I'm a new user I'll just have to put it in here.
I just finished flashing my phone to Official GB 2.3.3 by cyber_avijit and ran LGMDP to fix my baseband but now I have some issues. Everything works fine (calling, txting, etc) except I can't use my 2G/3G internet, it just doesn't work at all, does anyone know of a fix for this? Would be much appreciated as I really need it.
Go to settings- and change your apn settings. Add your 2g/3g settings manually.

not really sure if this is possible. I notice with whatsapp with normal messages that the little 3g icon doesn't kick up to H or H+ unless I'm sending/receiving media files or anything other than just normal messages.
I think this is a good feature (if it is designed to be one) and would like some other apps to only stay on 3g and not kick up to HSPA+. Some of these apps are facebook messenger and twitter where there is no need for full HSPA+.
Is this possible or is it up to the app developer to implement such a feature?
p.s I have fast dormancy disabled and I'm on Telstra network.
2.3.6 based rom and KL1 modem.

No you can't select which apps will use 2G/3G/H+..!
Also its not the app developer who decides that!

But you can toggle data connection to use 2g/3g all the time according to your will..
If you want to do that just search for it on xda or google and you will fint it!

I found out that .587 FW has 2G/3G bug (I set 2G only and after restart of device I have 3G). It is the reason I returned to previous release. Is there any possibility of repairing it ?

you have to do is go to mobile network settings, mo preferred network and noticed that in wcdma / gsm, wcdma put in just for a moment until it appears 3g or h then redial in wcdma / gsm. hopefully it works. :highfive:
I wanted to say that I want to have ONLY 2G for all the time. After every device restart it comes back to WCDMA (prefered)/GSM. How to set only GSM ?

Need internet connection at first only for setting up the application thus loading its built in IR data.
Due to its app size, meaning there is only picked brands that are accessible offline.
Try to compare, with wifi connection, there are bunch of brand names listed rather than without wifi.

Worked perfectly well with miui and even on custom roms . See the below ss ( current rom = colt os )
Edit : tried on wifi as well as cellular data . Works perfect

Actually we were talking about this issue first time use only. Afterwards it works with or without internet/data perfectly.

I have other problem. I install also mi peel remote and want to add more TV. When I chose to add second TV it's allow to add new room. I enter the name push green button to create new room but nothing happened after that.
