The Extended rom on my cingular 8525 2.06 became corrupted...I dont know how (besides the fact it was mounted and unlocked...)
Can someone post it for me?

I have 1.60.00wwe dutch rom and "used to have" an extended rom v ???
I hard resetted the device and now there is no extended rom!
Is it okay?

Have you tried to unlock the rom again, some version are invisible unless unlocked.
IF you forgot to lock the Extended ROM before hard-reset, contents is lost!
Always lock the Extended ROM after having worked on it.
I would advise upgrade. With my (dutch) T-Mobile version 1.72.901 (search to find) for instance

That's the problem, I don't know who was supplying the Cingualr rom's to POF. But, I heard that Cingular was testing the 1.40 rom for their soon to be released 8525 hermes and was hoping that whoever supplied the previous cingular roms would give us the latest version. I also heard that they will soon be testing a aku 3 rom for the 8525. The cingular 1.34 rom seems to get better 3g speeds for me and better battery life than the stock tytn roms.

Has anybody here successfully managed to unhide and unlock the extended ROM on a Telstra supplied imate jasjam? If so, how did you do it? I want to customise mine.
For those who don't have the Telstra ROM, it has SPL 1.06. My understanding is that that if I can downgrade it to a ROM with SPL 1.04 then I can unlock the extended ROM but then I won't have the customised Telstra extended ROM to play with anymore? How can I keep the Telstra extended ROM and still customise it?

Can it be done? Also which ROM should i use? I prefer to wait for the official release from ATT/Cingular.
If you want an official Cingular/AT&T rom, well then you only have one choice, the rom that was purchased with your device.

I am using a 8525 (SIM unlocked and SuperCID) device with HTC 1.18.416.1 Rom. Cingular rom do have problems with MMS for me in my country (don´t works), but HTC 1.18 hang up constantly my phone although MMS works fine. With Cingular 1.34 phone works fine (no hang up), but I have the MMS problem.
I do have the HTC Rom ship 1.35 for upgrade and for install right now, but on Wiki I read that the SPL or IPL would be upgraded to 1.09 and is not possible downgrade to 1.06 or 1.04.
Any methods for avoid it????, The explains are very confusing for me. Any help for the upgrade to HTC 1.35 Rom, without the 1.09 ipl or spl problem.
I don´t want problems because when it be available I need chage the rom for my language. In this moment no upgrade rom is available in my language.

Hi, I want to downgrade my HTC 8125 (hacked wm6 onto it), but I am unable to do so as the link in the wiki to the original points to a non-functioning HTC website. Can someone please link me to an original rom, or where I can find it? Thanks
