Why i cant downgrade my Rom form T-Mobile --> 1.60 WWE as

I'm now using T-Mobile ROM lastest version, and I want to try downgrade my ROM to 1.60 Asian Rom (o2), but i'm stuck at the stage 1 (erase rom) and then it skip to the final page where said "Error 112 CE ROM update error" I tried both O2 UK and O2 Asian ROM, it has the same problem, But when i try with T-Mobile, its work!!. Anyone have an ideas? btw, I change the header of device type from PH10B to blank , bcoz it would appear another prob--> model ID error
if your device is originally branded by t-mobile ... you have to modify the country ID in the ROM file to be T-mobile
use er2003edit
1. Clean Device ID in all oarts of rom
2.flash it
I've got the same problem just now :x . I know something about flashing myself  . Still I don't know how to "modify the country ID in the ROM" or how to "clean DeviceID in all parts of ROM". Where to look for step-by-step instructions :?: :?: :?:
Try this trick:
1. Get to bootloader (power+navi-key+reset)
2. Put device into cradle
2. Run update
maybe this helps :

Errors Upgrading to WM2003SE WorkAround

A splinter topic from DCS's post Fix and prevent ROM upgrade/downgrade Country ID errors.
Okay here's the skinny. I believe there are two parts to this problem.
One the user is not complying to the procedure in changing the codes.
Two the user has previously upgraded using a foreign Extended ROM ms.nbf file (filled with own modified CABs).
I have included the ms_.nbf files of various operator IDs. They do not have any Extended ROM CABs or Splash screens (to be inserted by user according to your locale and fancy later when upgrading to the WM2003SE ROM).
Begin the repair.
Run HimaUpgradeUT.exe together with the ms_.nbf, HimaClearJumpCode.exe and HimaGetDeviceData.exe files. Do not add any nk and radio_ *.nbf files.
After completion of the fix you can start with your WM2003SE upgrade.
Or you can simply remove HimaGetDeviceData.exe and upgrade if you can live with the foreign ID in your Himalaya.
I need help!!!!!!!! :? :? :? :? :?
My freind upgraded my imate to win2003se. After booting the imate gives only black screen with the word serial or usb when cradled.
We tried to re-upgrade or re-downgrade but no hope. Always the same error message: Error 120: Country ID Error.
is that any way to find out which rom I have now on my mashine or to do anything to get it back booting.
Thanks in advance.......
Flash
Remove your battery for awhile.
Pop it back in and hard reset.
Then try to flash with the four different ms_.nbf I attached.
Thanks Dr.Stein
I did what you described in you reply but no chance.
I am getting the same Error 120.
Do you have any idea what to do?
Thanks in advance
when you get stuck in boaltloader screen, thing you can do is soft reset and continue to upgrade again. but if still can't work just downgrade with base rom (1.03 for boatloader 1.02) and (1.60.44 for baotloader 1.03)
Well I have the bootloader 1.02.
Where can I find this rom
Thanx. :? :?
What did this error means: N-O-N-8-N after Error code 120
Thanks
 Thank you Dr Stien i somehow managed to change my country id.

your friend "Roaydak"
if I understand correctly :
these file will set your country ID /operator ID to O2 so the WM2003SE upgrades (which all have O2 has operator ID ) will work.
depending on if yours is now Qtek, CDL, TMOBILE or O2 you have to start from the right file.
Which means that afterwards when you want to downgrade to your original Qtek, CDL or TMOBILE ROM you will get Country Id error ?
unless you have manipulated offset 74 in the WM2003SE upgrade.
plz correct me if I'm wrong

No Bro these files will set your Himalaya to it's original state - select Qtek, CDL, TMOBILE or O2 accordingly.
Afterwhich you should alter the WM2003SE ROM to your individual Himalaya - Qtek, CDL, TMOBILE or O2.
Only then can you do your upgrade.

How do I change my O2 Atom system language to English?

I have a O2 XDA Atom. I bought it in Hong Kong so it has the Hong Kong (Chinese) firmware/ROM on it. But I want to upgrade to the English version. So I download the ROM update software from O2, but it does not allow me. It says "Error: Country ID Or Device ID Error". What should I do?
I did try to google it, and this is what I came up with. I tried the solution, but it still doesn't work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1613389

Believe (correct me if im wrong guys, IMO) if you upgrade from one of the ROM's available here at the forum. lets say any updated WM6 cooked rom or even a WM5 that is WWE . it will change everything! the language will be english since it's a WWE.
the error: "Country ID or Device ID Error" has been posted here for the nth time already. You need to enter bootloader mode "camera+reset" prior to upgrading the ROM.
Upgrade Procedure: FYI
1. Put device to bootloader mode: (CAMERA+RESET)
2. Connect device to PC under Windows XP using USB cable
3. Extract files to Windows/Temp then execute Device Software Update Utility.EXE<-(DSUU for Atom Pure)
4. Follow on-screen procedure

O2 WM6 Upgrade ERROR-help!

When I want to upgrade my old WM5 with WM6, there shows a mistake, error (ERROR 294 INVALID VENDER ID. I tried a few WM6, but none of them work. There is the same mistake with all of them. Help me, please, so I can upgrade my O2 TRITON.
Thank you.
either install hardspl first or use the official o2 trion wm6. it should be linked to in the wiki somewhere
He might be using an official o2 rom, but maybe his device isnt an o2 device here is a link to the latest o2 rom http://rapidshare.com/files/82987999/RUU_Hermes_O2_UK_3.62.206.2_6275_1.50.00.00_108_Ship.exe
if you still get the invalid vendor id install HardSPL as xtreme_g stated ,then install the o2 rom
