Install another radio version, if protocol ends in W your radio is not HSDPA capable.

Thx for reply, my radio rom is 1.38.00.10. How come other users's proto ver is 32.71.7020.12H & mine is 32.71.7020.12W in same radio rom level???
Which rom are you using?
Did you install the radio as a radio-only upgrade? or was it included on your full shipped rom?

upgrade to a newer rom, this should fix your problem.

Simply run a 172WWE.exe upgrade.
Only watch the countrycode ... just like you would with any up/downgrade
Also if you could let us know whats not working right, just in case we need to downgrade. Personally it's working great for me, with the exception of an issue with Bluetooth.
I saw a lot of upgrades for XDAII.
but actually I do not know where to start.

what are the following next steps to take for upgrading latest ROM and BT version?
you have rom for asian edition, so.....
1. don't start, stay with your rom or
2. upgrade to 1.72 rom or direct to WM2003SE rom.
try to search this forum about upgrading.
