So trying to flash a new rom, it failed and i was stuck in a recovery loop, i proceeded to odin back to stock, however after the tmobile boot up i get stuck at a black screen with the softouch keys lit. Any assistance is greatly appreciated
currently in the same boat with you, find a solution let me know
re-download all files and try again....make sure you use the pit file that ends with 512...it works better
So i am a newbie on rooting and everything related.
and i rooted my phone got it on super cid and tried out a couple of custom roms to which ones i liked best for my liking.
The last custom rom i had was the hypernonsense 1.4
and when i was putting that on my phone. the guide told me to delete the file "android" afterwards. so.. i dont know if that has anything to do with it.
and i think i change the kernel or something on it too as it told me to do.
Everything was going good until i tried to put my phone in recovery from my backup on clockwordmod.
and from there it just stays on constant bootloop.
Please if anyone can help me id greatly appreciate the help.
I tried googling this many times but anyway, here I go. I installed bkbtnmenu.zip from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41129973&highlight=backup#post41129973 and my phone wouldn't pass the HTC One logo. I tried nobkbtn.zip and then I even tried getting out the settings.apk and build.prop from Slim and Skinny 4.3 and making a flashable zip which i used ADB sideload to sideload. Still hasn't passed the HTC One logo. Please help me out. Thanks.

You are going to have to run a RUU to put your phone back unless you have a nandroid backup to use. Here is the latest RUU for T-Mobile.
Dear community,
To flash my phone, I followed this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2118645
So I installed CWM Recovery, I rebooted into recovery, I did a backup of the phone, I wiped the phone and I installed the ROM provided. Unfortunately, my phone isn't working anymore (I think it is soft bricked as the start screen does pop up).
Loading the recovery however, did not work either.
What did I do wrong? How can I go back to my old Gingerbread OS or the CM 9.1?
Help would greatly be appreciated!
Edit: So right now I'm trying to follow the unbrick tutorial here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156
But does anyone have help for flashing the phone again? What did I forget?
Vinnni
unbrick
So, I tried to unbrick it but it seems to not be working with the tutorial here, so I used this:
youtube com/watch?v=ELeDUwa9c34
So far, so good. Unbricked the phone now. But how do I flash it? I really want to get rid of my Gingerbread...
Hello guys.
Happy holidays! I need your help badly as my samsung s3 19300i is stucked. After rooting my phone successfully. I tried to flash a custom ROM (EOL)5.1.1
I followed the instructions properly and then when the phones restarts. It ended up getting stucked on the title screen.
It never loads even I waited for a couple of minutes.
I tried to flash again my TWRP using Odin but still my phone doesnt go to recovery mode. It always go to the download mode and says "could not do normal boot"
I've been trying to fix this for the last 6 hours now and I feel desperate as I have posted and send help with you guys.
I would really appreciate your help guys.
Cheers!
Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
I think you tried to Flash my ROM, because it's particular EOL.
You need to flash stock and then start from new. If you need help to flash stock, please search in S3 General section. Then please start from new and install TWRP 2.8.7.3 Official.
Kind regards
Trafalgar Square
As stated, flash stock via odin and start over.
thanks
YEs. Mr. Trafalgal.
I tried to use your custom ROM but didnt work for me . MAybe i did it wrong. I will try to do what you said and will update to you.
Thank you very much
Someone needs to highlight the dangers of using modified recoveries..
If you are flashing a custom rom you MUST reset to factory then reroot and flash using only offical recoveries + cfautoroot.
Bootloops are common if you do not adhere!.
