Make that rom suitable for G4 by removing the IPL and SPL. After this you can flash it to a CID-unlocked G4. Follow this tutorial:

I think you can already try flashing with shelltool, but I'm not sure about this.

i understood from this forum that it's very dangerous to try running a g3 rom on g4...but do you mean that wm6,made for g3 is different from g4???cause i tried to upgrade to wm6 crossbow and it didn't work,i don't know how it happened,but i am still with wm05...so,what rom do you mean is dangerous for g4-radio or windows???is there wm6 for g4?

Please look at other thread before asking... especially this one
G4 devices are known to have two things in common :
- IPL/SPL are untouchable and with version number ending with .0001 (or so)
- they are CID locked (wish would only allow HTC to flash roms)
G3 Rom comes with IPL and SPL in. So if you try to flash it onto a G4 device, you may brick it by altering the original IPL/SPL. This is known to be hard to do, btw... don't do it. Also, in case of failed flashing, the IPL/SPL are the only things that could save you.
So you should try flashing G4 rom only.
Unfortunately, the CID lock makes it hard to flash any rom you'd like. Only a couple of ROMs are flashable on G4+CID devices.

Hi, i have one QTEK Model WIZA100 with Windows Mobile 5 english version, i need to flash it with Windows Mobile 5 Spanish version or language, i need the ROM of WM% in spanish but i dont know where download it, i have ROM UPGRADE UTILITY WIZARD ready in my computer and Activesync installed too and work perfectly. Can anybody help to do this work with the file and the steps?

Hola,
first you should read the wiki and/or the stickies about unlocking and updating (threads on the top) very carefully. I think there is also a thread in Spanish already about Spanish ROMs and the process.
Basically you need to know which type/model you have, either a G3 or a G4, and then proceed accordingly to upload a different ROM to your Wizard as described in the threads mentioned above.

and read more threads about how to update ROM for G4. Basically there is no difference of the ROM to G3 as long as the file you upload contains the ROM only but not the SPL or IPL. But as I have a G3 I recommend you to read yourself.
also there are some spanish threads about this issue as well. For Spanish ROM you may check there as I don't have it.

Your assumption is right but still these cooked ROM are also for the G4 (at least those I know of).
You may want to spend more time in reading the threads in the forum and then start to flash ...

and i want to flash my rom to wm6 or higher. but am afraid to brick my phone. the only thing i'm fmiliar with is flashing cotulla's work on my magician.

do i really have to perform softspl to flash my rom?
or i can just flash it to any g4 safe rom with ruu?
