Hi there!
Today I tried for the first time a rom Update...It went fine so I decided to move onto the radio update and I elected 1.41 ( latest ) the one to try...
After rom update was completed I let it softreset and boot WM5; I switched on the phone but after few seconds It crashed ( or exit?) back to desktop.I restarted it and I was even able to make a call, but when I open the contacts it doesn't allow me to see anything inside ( briefly shows the top bar, the one with the letters for search ) and if I try the quick contacts ( with the scroll wheels), names are there, but there's no number below it only shows a "c"...
Got it
after upgrading I tried resetting everything with spb backup...That did something wrong and didn't allow the phone to be working properly...HR and reinstalling everything from scratch

Hi all, i have a tricky one for you. MUCH respect to the one that can help me out with this one.
I belived my HD2 to be faulty and was to return it in for repairs. Having HSPL on the phone presented a problem so i tryed installing from SD card to remove it and restore the phone back to original ..... exept that didnt happen.
See, i didnt save my original rom back in the days when hspl showed up and apperently, you need to extract your original rom if you ever inteend to restore it to full original. So after some tries, with stock 1.48 and stock 1,66 i gave up and did a task 29, installed NRG rom and was back to normal ... OR so i thought.
The problem that started showing was a strange connection error.
"Dialer
cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings " some more text of non importense is displayed on there.
Thing is i lose the connection for like 1 second, it then shows this message and the connection is back again ... so i just press "Dismiss" untill it randomly will occure again now and then.
Now i tryed radio 2.10.50.19, 2.10.50.28, 2.12.50.28_2 with no luck.
I tryed to start with 1.48 stock installed from computer, then Task 29 with radio, then the latest NRG rom ... and some older. Nothing changes this thing, and the problem never occured before. I tryed just Task 29 and straight to NRG rom, nothing.
Plz plz if you have an idee, or think you can help, plz do, this is getting on my nerves, what if i never can save it!!!! ... oh my oh my
Best regards

I have been trying to add a rom to my lg optimus-t for pretty much the whole afternoon. I rooted it fine but when I tried to install AmunRa to make a recovery but that failed that was ok though since the ROM I ended up choosing asked for a different recovery system. The ROM I chose to use ciaox's openoptimus build
So I installed ROM Manager and did a recovery with clockwork mod, everything seemed fine until I loaded the clockworkMod and got E: bad boot message "recovery" I decided to continue anyways and followed the steps and when I finished part one it actually booted up, but I was unable to see any icons. All I was able to see was the lock screen and the network manager bar at the top.
There is a second part so I thought maybe if I went through all of the steps it would fix itself. It was all going great until I got to phase 2 #16 because it just wouldn't do it and the error message I got was "you cannot program the qcsbl header without the partition". in my infinite wisdom (dun dun dun) I decided to re-install everything, went to the recovery file and nothing happened, said it didn't exist. I had the rom so I decided to wipe the phone again and re-install it, now it doesn't even load and I realized I should have stopped to re-install somethings in the beginning.
Thankfully the clockworkMod recovery still boots and I have all functionality there(Well except for the recovery), so is there anyway for me to get 2.2 and install that into my phone to start all over again? A quick answer would be awesome, sorry for the novel, TIA.
Edit: got the rom up and running again, but I am back at the :"The Application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" stage where I get the full unlock screen and the top bar that work, the emergency dialer still works as well. I tried doing phase2 again and following the instructions, but the phone goes into emergency mode and shuts off. At this point I'm thinking of trying another more simple ROM where I dont have to change the basebands, does that sound like a good idea?
hello, can anyone help?
I'm just trying to restore my photo's/music etc using PCC restore option. it's worked flawlessly before, but now the phrogram works fine until i click the restore button, then it just hangs forever, if i click anywhere on screen, the window turns totally white and it says "(not responding) at the top. I've tried leaving it for a good half hour, but no progress at all....any ideas?
::EDIT::
found a sort of work around, loaded the program without connecting my phone, clicked on the backup i wanted to restore and clicked on view contents......it froze again, but i left it running while i was at work, when i came back it's ready, so i clicked on extract and it's now extracting all the files to my desktop so i can then manually transfer them back.
Hello!
I uninstalled some system applications on my phone and I instantly regretted it and restored applications from back-ups using Wondershare MobileGo for Adroid. However, although it seems all the applications are working again, when I unlock the screen, I get a black screen - no desktop, no application list, but with the notification bar on top which works properly. The clock and calendar are displayed on the unlock screen and the alarm clock woke me up... I got some notifications on the black screen: process.android.acore, process.android.gapps and process.android.vending stopped working, process system stopped working.
How can I solve the problem? Thanx!
Since you have installed system apps, i assume that you are rooted. Now if you have taken a nandroid backup before attempting this, you can go ahead and restore that. If you dont have one, try to do a data wipe/factory reset from recovery. But before doing all these, put a ROM in your SD/internal storage as a backup to flash if something went wrong.
Do a factory reset.. should be fine but if doesn't work take a backup of you data and re-flash your rom
I followed your advice.
I had problems with a factory reset - I did a hard-reset and when a phone turned on, process com.android.browser had immediately stopped working. The screen (which had a message "touch the screen to proceed") dldn`t react to touch, so I got stucked.
I gave up and installed the whole new ROM in the end.
What an adventure...
I do not exactly know how a phone looks like when its 'Bricked' but I believe there is something very wrong with my Xolo Q800.
Just a week back, a couple of applications stopped working. I restarted and since then its been restarting if I open any application. The OS has freezed itself into the state it was at 2pm on Tuesday 9th December. All I can do is receive calls and sometimes even dial them. Once I restart it says one by one all the Google background processes stop working. At times while receiving calls, the dailer UI goes away, and then it restarts and freezes to Boot Animation, so I have to remove the battery and then start again.
I tried wiping it completely from TWRP recovery that is already installed. Didnt work. Tried formatting by going into the settings inside the OS - MIUI, that is installed. It will restart but would come back to same state as it was at 2pm Tuesday 9th.
I tried using the following links, followed the exact process to unbrick and install the real OS, still it would come back to the same state as it was on 2pm Tuesday 9th.
Not to mention I did use 'Run as Administrator' while using SP Tools.

I'm really desperate now to make it work.
Really in need of help.
PS: I have tried multiple custom roms to flash, but nothing helped, nothing changed. I even tried installing CWM recovery http://xoloq800roms.blogspot.in/2013...k-rom-and.html
Nothing helped, nothing changed. Its still on that same state and would restart if I would try use applications.
