I had lost my external logo (the small orange logo when opened) and lucky for me, a collegue of mine has the same phone so I plugged her phone to my pc and searched a bit to find out what it was called and where it was.
Of course, as I expected, it in the windows dir and it's called "LogoImg.bmp".
It was indeed missing in the Cingular rom on mine.
Downloaded a logo, converted it to bmp, sent it to my phone in the windows dir
ET VOILA.
Image must be bmp and 128X128.
Maybe u knew maybe u didn't.

I don't know if I understand what you mean... You mean, when you open the phone, on the external screen will be displayed the logo? I have Qtek 8500 and when I open it, external screen is just blank (black). No matter if I put there any 128x128 LogoImg.bmp or not. Can you search in registry for a key, which contains LogoImg.bmp ? Would be great to have a logo even on Qtek 8500..
In the other hand, I wonder how it is possible, coz WM5 doesn't support external screens on clamshel phones..

Now I have there my girlfriend ^_____^ 사랑해 ^^ Just sad that the bmp take too much space.. But good way to save space is to convert them into 16 colours scale. No big difference. Just sad it doesn't support JPG or animated GIF

WM6 for charmer takes a lot of time - and we have to relax as well. So I will post some splashscreens for our devices...
They are in 320*320. Why if charmer has only 320*240 screen? Simply because you may start charmer also in landscape, not only in portrait mode. WM leaves top left corner of image in the top left of screen. So if you will use 320*240, you will have horrible white strip on the right side of screen.
HOW TO INSTALL SLPASHSCREENS:
It's simple.
1) Just rename the one you like to welcomehead.96.png
2) Yes, there are TWO dots in the name!!!
3) Copy it to your \windows folder
4) Softreset machine...

If your question was meaned like "where is the download?" the answer is simple. Nowhere. Try to use right button on your mouse and save the image manualy.

I've made it my default OS splash, and trying to make it work with the boot flash (still have the crappy T-mobile stuff). Lovin' it

Hi, ive spent all day trying to find a way to change the appearance of my taksbar, without succes. ive read a lot and tried many things, and the only thing that changed was my speaker icon.
i am using lots of spb stuff, wm6 (not touchflo)

yup thats what i want. i already tried it, but unfortunately, only the speaker icon changed.
do you have any clues on what i could have changed that conflicts this mod?
(all that i have installed is some spb product and modified couple of things with advanced config, but nothing regarding the taskbar)
Dont know if you figured this out yet...there is another cab file you need to go along with the one above... I have an htc touch pro and have gotten all the icons to work except the one with the satellite.
what sbp stuff do you have in place of touchflo?
Try this file...it is the tsowen task bar. I used this with great success as long as you have followed the walkthrough

Now I can make a quicklink to the lockbutton.

Haha, I just wanna show you the icon I used, it's just like raving_nanza said the old wm5 lock device and that's all.

tbh ive done this, editing the wm5 lockdevice.exe
but then decided it was much better/easier to just have s2u2 instead
do you know what the .dll is for lockdevice on the today??

If I'm correct shutil.dll, but I thought you can also edit the registry, can't help you any further at the moment, left my phone at home and I'm now on my work.
Give you an clear answer later this day, when I have my phone back.

just checked my registry for the today items, (it lists the .dll it uses) and your correct, ill be deleting that lil mo-fo from my kitchen when i get back home
no point in having 2 lock apps on 1 OS
maybe you should delete your .DLL from your kitchen? (persuming you cook) and save some space because you use the .EXE version
