Hi, ive spent all day trying to find a way to change the appearance of my taksbar, without succes. ive read a lot and tried many things, and the only thing that changed was my speaker icon.
i am using lots of spb stuff, wm6 (not touchflo)

I think you might want Massimo colored top bar,there was a cab but for some reason I can not find it now but it is out there. O wait here it is...ta da

yup thats what i want. i already tried it, but unfortunately, only the speaker icon changed.
do you have any clues on what i could have changed that conflicts this mod?
(all that i have installed is some spb product and modified couple of things with advanced config, but nothing regarding the taskbar)
Dont know if you figured this out yet...there is another cab file you need to go along with the one above... I have an htc touch pro and have gotten all the icons to work except the one with the satellite.
what sbp stuff do you have in place of touchflo?
Try this file...it is the tsowen task bar. I used this with great success as long as you have followed the walkthrough

did you modify this rom in any way? or did you just translate it?
i am curious because korand's roms always have this strange comm manager behaviour with wifi meaning that after each soft reset wifi only starts after two taps on the button in the comm manager, whereas wifi starts right away when enabled through batterystatus. i also tried different comm manager versions without an effect.
any comments? any ideas?

That can be changed by putting a shortcut to "WiFiInit" in the start up folder.

tried it and seems to work. funnily enough, i do not need this shortcut in my official wm5 for wifi to work right away...
remains one question unsolved though: how to set the sound scheme to the original wm 6/6.1 as it is available in cloudyfa's and pdaviet's roms? i would use them if they were not that much overloaded with apps i do not like or need, espacially all the htc crap... apart from those minor flaws mentioned above, i really like korand's slim and sleek roms.
but when i read earlier that cloudyfa is coming up with a new one including wpa2, i might give THAT one a shot...

Ok i found this in devolopement and hacking it's a realy nice Taskmanger check the screen shots
it's taken from the ACER ppc it consist of four cab files but as with any new port it needs fixing to make it fully working on our Prophet

I can only get 3 of the four parts working so that's why i started this thread come on let's get this working i think it needs a few reg entries added to make it fully working
Important if you are running Titanium you will need to edit the following reg entry so that you can enable this plug-in with titanium

I have TaskManager, ZoomStatus, QuickLaunch installed and just a couple of buttons on Zoom Status are not active
QuickMenu comes out blank for me
Don't forget to softreset after install then goto today settings\items and enable zoomstatus

Well glad to see you are thinking of playing around with this i am working on some new rom builds so no time but i would love to have this working so i could include it in my roms just no time to work on this

Ok i found those cabs on a Italian forum site can't recall the name but it's a great taskmanger and worth playing around with ,I really look forward to your release

I'll load this up later and see how it works, as a quick fix, I used to make a copy TaskManager.exe and change the name to MainMenu.exe. That way mainmenu NEVER comes up again. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but it stops mainmenu from loading up at all.

I always hate the position of the lockbutton so I decided to stripped an old rom and make a cab of the devicelock and give it another icon.
Now I can make a quicklink to the lockbutton.

Haha, I just wanna show you the icon I used, it's just like raving_nanza said the old wm5 lock device and that's all.

but then decided it was much better/easier to just have s2u2 instead
do you know what the .dll is for lockdevice on the today??

If I'm correct shutil.dll, but I thought you can also edit the registry, can't help you any further at the moment, left my phone at home and I'm now on my work.
Give you an clear answer later this day, when I have my phone back.

just checked my registry for the today items, (it lists the .dll it uses) and your correct, ill be deleting that lil mo-fo from my kitchen when i get back home
no point in having 2 lock apps on 1 OS
maybe you should delete your .DLL from your kitchen? (persuming you cook) and save some space because you use the .EXE version

So I was tinkering with some stuff trying to get a semi transparent app drawer to work. I got that to work and now have a close to perfect setup for my device. The only thing wrong now is that my app shortcuts on the lockscreen are missing. I've tried numerous things to get it back to no avail. I was trying to hold off from performing a hard reset. Does anyone know of a way to reinstall the lockscreen itself without having to hard reset? Everything else is so nice that I'm almost considering leaving it as is. Thanks in advance.

I actually really like what you have there. I've been working to remove the shortcuts ... lol. Do you think you could send me or post your APKs?
And yes ... if you pull the APKs from the stock ROM, you can use ADB or a File Manager to import the APKs back into the ROM. It will restore the original setup.

i think that you could probably take the setup that they have for the glass skin and apply that to your current work they have a transparent lock screen i believe

As far as fixes the only one I would know would break your transparent lock bar so I am not sure
