I'll load this up later and see how it works, as a quick fix, I used to make a copy TaskManager.exe and change the name to MainMenu.exe. That way mainmenu NEVER comes up again. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but it stops mainmenu from loading up at all.

email should work perfectly. Let me know if it don't. I know that my emails work fine...but if it's windows live mail like you said on my last version...I'll try to fix it.

Hi, ive spent all day trying to find a way to change the appearance of my taksbar, without succes. ive read a lot and tried many things, and the only thing that changed was my speaker icon.
i am using lots of spb stuff, wm6 (not touchflo)

yup thats what i want. i already tried it, but unfortunately, only the speaker icon changed.
do you have any clues on what i could have changed that conflicts this mod?
(all that i have installed is some spb product and modified couple of things with advanced config, but nothing regarding the taskbar)
Dont know if you figured this out yet...there is another cab file you need to go along with the one above... I have an htc touch pro and have gotten all the icons to work except the one with the satellite.
what sbp stuff do you have in place of touchflo?
Try this file...it is the tsowen task bar. I used this with great success as long as you have followed the walkthrough

it's taken from the ACER ppc it consist of four cab files but as with any new port it needs fixing to make it fully working on our Prophet

I can only get 3 of the four parts working so that's why i started this thread come on let's get this working i think it needs a few reg entries added to make it fully working

I have TaskManager, ZoomStatus, QuickLaunch installed and just a couple of buttons on Zoom Status are not active
QuickMenu comes out blank for me
Don't forget to softreset after install then goto today settings\items and enable zoomstatus

Well glad to see you are thinking of playing around with this i am working on some new rom builds so no time but i would love to have this working so i could include it in my roms just no time to work on this

Ok i found those cabs on a Italian forum site can't recall the name but it's a great taskmanger and worth playing around with ,I really look forward to your release

I tried the ddms method/latest sdk, it did not work on my NC with HC.
does this work on cm7?

I haven't tried the suggest application, but I've ran on that platform (HC v4 2nd edition on eMMC), CM7 SD Boot v.33, and currently on NookieComb v.01. I've used an app that requires a rooted device, you can grab it from the Market, it's called "ShootMe", it worked on all 3 different platforms for me. The picture is saved on a new folder it creates for itself on SD, folder name "ShootMe". Hope that helps, good luck!

It don't work on Gtablet running CM7. I know this isn't the gtab forum, but I know a lot of folks have a gtab and a nook color also so I was just giving all a heads up to save 'em from going through a purchase then a refund like I had to do.

Could you please send me a logcat in debug mode so i can solve this issue?
What you need to do is:
1. Download aLogcat from the market
2. Tick "Debug mode" in Screenshot ER
3. Run aLogcat
4. Reproduce your error in Screenshot ER
5. Go into aLogcat and pause
6. Use the share menu to send the resulting text either to [email protected] or via PM here at XDA

Report any findings here in this thread. So we can all see if they're individual bugs striking a certain user or universal bug happening to all users.
Successful odin flash, nothing went wrong, watch was rooted and now it's not rooted again, but I couldn't try sideloading any apk's @Skin1980 requested cause Opera Mini wouldn't load the page correctly.

See if you can get Skin1980's app's to load, this is based off of OA7 Firmware install as you'd normally install any odin firmware.
Maybe someone in here can help me he needs a app that was installed with Gear Manager and Galaxy App Store, I can't find where those app's are located since they don't show up in the app drawer or app manager on my phone, he needs a pulled one so I can he can compare the installs and see why sideloading apk's are failig rn with unknown sources allowed in Gear Manager, would Gear Tasks work or if anyone has a pulled app from the app store they could upload and send to him that would be great.

I Will Lost all file in my phone?
Tried Evereything! Did find the best solution. OK Google works!
I just got adb tool and drivers and removed ALL of the bloatware including the voice assistant, store, cloud you name it. I installed Nova Launcher as that seems to be very good and most like Anroid 9 Pie in terms of customisation. Romoved oppo launcher of course and reboot.
Set up Google Assistant and then you have the option in the settings with Nova launccher to have it as enabled all the time and disco!
The only thing you can't do is wake it up from locked screen with Hey or O|k google. However as soon as you have swiped in and its had a look at your head everything is voice activated. You have to occasionly choose and confirm the app mainly at first time off using that command such as which clock (I had the system and google one) for timer and alarm sets and which calender or reminders etc and same with notes. However it is just a click 1 time and then you never notice you are using an inuriating chinese variant!
You have to block everything in the settings for the remaining stock apps that you either can't delete or shouldn't.
Also I think having an Oppo ID was useful and will be if anything goes wrong. Although I'm told all the apps and everything come back after a factory reset but you never know.
I'm actually happy with the phone now and enjoy using it ffor the first tome since getting it and being sorely dissapointed!!
'll try and answer any questions but there are lists and links on here ffor the adb platform tools, drivers and commands etc as well as a list of programs safe to delete which is a little outdated as there are now more but the risky ones iI still agree are probably not worth rocking the boat with.
Not sure about other launchers but I had loads installed and Nova came recomended and seems to be unique in being able to set the gogle assistant as default because otherwise I would have found a post like this one by now sureley??
Get it done, its life changing and low risk high reward!!
PS. You can now use any widget you want to your hearts desire with this configuration and so far nothing in chinese has popped up and its ully customised to my liking and very usable!!!
