I don't think there is any news of an Italian ROM yet (or again with Alta Vista Babel Fish (I have no idea how accurate this is!!!): Non penso che ci siano tutte le notizie di una ROM italiana ancora.
It does sound better in Italian.
i would think that once an official wm6 rom surfaces, that there will be localized language versions as well. So there is hope for an Italian or other language rom other than world wide english...

I have understood so far that "cooking" ROMS let you do whatever you want, the problem is to cook it well!! :wink:

what i'm saying is not that you can install and use it but
if you want english language then you need to use a english rom
you cant use a italien rom and change the language to english
of cause being from italy you may not mind having italien as your xda language

Come si fa per "burnare" la rom ita sulla sd?
ho provato con xdatools ma:
- se provo a burnarla da montata sull'xda2 xdatolls mi dice prima che e' protetta da scrittura, poi che non c'e' abbastanza spazio libero.
- se provo a burnarla su un lettore di sd completa la procedura ma non fa altro che copiarla. non rende bootabile la sd.
avete quanche idea???

per metterla sulla sd devi usare pswrite ...una utility che si trova nel pacchetto itsutils (fai una ricerca su questo sito)
non so cmq. se riuscirai a fare il boot dalla scheda con quell'immagine ...credo manchi il bootloader ...bisogna aggiungercelo ...(processo rischiosissimo ed incasinato)
dovresti copiare il bootloader del tuo device sulla sd, poi aprirlo con un hex editor e "appenderlo" all'immagine che hai scaricato ...

puoi cambiare la lingua, ma non è semplice con quell'immagine ...leggi sopra ...

No, I'm not a sound technician... it's only because when the first videogames had to record the top score, they just gave you three letters to be used and I did not liked to be confused with a "MIC"rophone, thus I modified my nicknake, and this nickname became famous later on for DJs and other related people...
Nothing related with sound in my case anyway...

First of all, being an English Forum, English language is much more appreciated by other users, instead of Italian, even if it would be faster for us both (next time, use Private Mail, the PM button you see next to people's messages).
Beside this then, you are speaking of an Alpine, while the reported ROMs do relate to a Universal...
There is no connections between the two world (yes, worlds...). ROM and version numberings have nothing to do each other, so I think it's completely unuseful to compare them to understand which is the latest one...
I think you should look at the same model (or make) to compare versions, and do not "MIX" them... ;-)
