Does anyone know how to make Window Media Player recognize Chinese Characters. I have tons of Chinese songs and none of the titles can be read.

On the other hand, Ken, do u have solution to display chinese in WM5 (not WMP10 and PIE). I have installed a chinese pack for 2003 on the WM5, it is OK to display chinese filename but makes mess on showing Date and Time even on Today screen. And, as I know, CE star has been verified not to work on WM5.
Any suggested solution.
Knife Chinese is working generally but not for WMP and PIE still. Monster Chinese SIP is ok for Chinese text input.

Monster Chinese is a famous software. You should be able to find it. Can only install SIP, not the core system of monster chinese.
Make sure that they are install on the device, not storage card.

I can't fine the v3.20 at the website. Could u give a link?
finally, I have found knife v3.2 & v3.7. but whichever I installed, it failed.
Oh, I got a version 3.7 on www.penpower.com.hk, it's ok. Together with Monster Chinese SIP, it can display and input chinese on WM5 now. But there is still mess display in PIE and Email.

hi, i am japanese in china and i used try to make WM5 to chinese/japane machin, but as you know, the important file of wince.nls in windows folder, cant replace to another one. this wince.nls can make encode china and japane. Monster chinese/Cinese Star/Knifes also replace this.
(actuary, it can replaced, but cant effect)
But the old version of wince.nls cant efect in WM5.0. we have to wait chinese/japanese WM5 SDK to get wince.nls.
without effective this, no way to IE/e-mail
(in the inbox,UTF-8 can use for chinese.but not all the time)
So many encoding Softwares such like you tried, cant install or cant encode to chinese complietly.

Can CEstar work on WM2005?? I don't think so.
Between, I have already downloaded MonsterSIP 4.02 and knief V3.7. But after I installed, it don't seem to work. I still see ???? for received chinese sms. I can sent chinese sms out.
Any idea what happen?

Instead of Knife Chinese system, you could just install a Chinese Pack (I tried to upload to FTP but failed). With that, Chinese can be displayed but still mess in Pocket IE, Word and Email. That may only be solved by an updated Wince.nls captured from a chinese version WM5 device in future.

i agree that, i tried many versions of wince.nls, ppc2002/2003/wince.net, also i edited previous wince.nls by binary editor and hexeditor, but still no use. just wait for becomming one!
Simple chinese/Japanes e-mail in inbox, can be displayed if it was sent with encode of UTF-8(sorry no test for Traditional Chinese)

So I followed the whole thread in the hacking section and tried so many cabs but none worked. Does anyone have a link to a working version of HTC Youtube for the touch dual please?
The OEM package from jerpelea's kitchen work fine for me...
Maybe you can cook your own ROM with it ?
What ROM do you use ? I think Youtube app needs some other shared DLL to work, and perhaps you don't have them.
I finally found the solution yesterday after a long search. Actually I think all versions work but it's a problem with a MUI file. I had to rename YouTube.exe.0409.mui to YouTube.exe.0407.mui
Not sure if this is only a problem for german users but it maybe.
It's working fine now.
That my old same problem with apps...
When you're not english it's not obvious to make all new stuff working with your own language.

You will probably have to rename the youtube409 mui in the windows folder if you're using a non-english rom.
I've installed Manila 2D v22 (Iolite) installed but can't get the Youtube app working - anyone got any ideas what be a common cause of this.
Have you renamed the youtube.exe MUI using your country code, as explained before ?
And before all, is the youtube app installed with Iolite M2D cab ? I cook it into my ROMs so I'm not sure the cab provide everything that could be used with it...

Like you mention your app works on a Java script; the question is; do the Java version who is integrated into the Miri & Dinik rom support these version??

First of all I know there is JBlend integrated.
Secondly there are deferent JBlend versions who support different Java versions.
So what I was saying not every JBlend version will run every java version.
For example my JBlend support follow Java builds: (JSR139, JSR118, JSR75, JSR120, JSR135, JSR179, JSR184, JSR185)
But because you are so friendly to react; see your self to fix it.

First of all you should specify which mobile bank application you are talking about, you are asking for help but didn't provide specifications
I am using iMobile for ICICI bank (India) and had the same issue, so i called customer care and they fixed it for me. It happens when you had this application configured on a different phone or ROM earlier.
Seems like too late for you but may be helpful for some one else ;-)

i installed the app with andexplorer but the plugin does not appear in the liveview application.
it says no plugins are installed

I don't know exactly.
I know that it's very difficult to have working plugins without installing them through the liveware app (=> with android market). Even during the development, it's difficult to install it.
Try removing it, reboot, install it, and reboot...
Maybe it could help...

Hi, this is my first time on the forums!!
I recently just purchased the galaxy tab 10.1 and I updated the Adobe Flash Player to 10.3, however I cannot get videos to work on the internet. Where the video is supposed to be, there will be a sign saying "you must have the latest flash player" and provides a link. However, this link just takes me back to the marketplace for the flash player that I already installed. Can someone please help?!?

Check your browser settings, by default the plugins are disabled. Set plugins to On demand or On.
