I have a X01HT with radio version 1.14.01.10 and i try to upgrade other version,but always show 1.14.01.10.
Is not no method to upgrade other version ??
Has anybody experiences, How to upgrade other radio version ?

I have just upgrade my Imate from 1.55.00WWE up to 1.72.00.WWW but radio version is only 1.14. (official ROM of Imate)
So I want to ask that should I upgrade my radio version to 1.17?

Hello I Have Just Upgrade 2 WM 2003SE & Since I Have Upgraded My Fone Seems 2 Hard Reset On Its Own For No Particular Reason, I will Just Exit A Program And Then All Of A Sudden It Will Hard Reset Its Self!
Is There Anything I Can Do 2 fix this problem?
upgrading your XDA II
By the looks of your radio version (1.08), You may need to upgrade your bootloader version.
For OS version 1.66 you really need to have bootloader version 1.06
If your own is 1.01 or 1.03 it will be unstable.
To find out your boot loader you need to press the standby button, the action key, and the reset button together. This will put you into bootloader mode.
The latest stable bootloader is 1.06.
The latest rom software version is 1.72.
The latest radio software is 1.17.
So you need to find this bootloader or reflash you unit back to your previous OS version :lol:
You could also try and upgrade you radio version to 1.16 to match your OS Version (1.66). but you do need to get that bootloader upgraded.

I have the same problem but my loader version is the 1.01 i think is the radio version 1.18 now i'm back to 1.14 if it will not hard reset newly i say to u
I can confirm than this solution works for me, by now noone hard rset are coming, i installed this SE rom

You should use any 6.xx Radio Versions. I personally do not know what will be the best, but i think a good chouce would be the 6.24 Version....

My friend ramersonw have a gene with 02.98.90 radio version and its works.

hello all,
i just wanted to know if the radio ROM version differs from region to region??? means country to country....i could see that my Gene has got the version 02.79.90....and its different from what voidmmn has quoted....
Also is it possible to update a radio version from any other HTC device to our Gene...
Yes, Radio versions do differ from region to region and a radio rom for one region, say Asia, wont work for other, say Europe. It may also differ on a smaller scale, like country to country instead of continent. I am not sure about it. I never saw an update for gene till now. I am not having any problems with the current radio either, so i am not much interested.
No, the ROM are specific to every device and it wont work between devices, dont even try that. It will damage the device permanently.
