I have attached the HandiTV full program.
I purchased the program and was going to charge a few dollars, but I can't do that on here, so here's the full program. Donations are welcomed for further purchases of software to share.
If you install on your computer, you must go to the program folder and find the .cab file and run it on your phone. This does work on Windows Mobile 6, I am currently using it on my 8525 w/ WM6.
You must be in a WiFi spot in order to get the TV channels.
Please be sure to let me know if this works properly. I do not think there is a limited use on this.

DO NOT provide commercial software for others. If you like a program, share the trial version or shareware/freeware version but is is PIRACY/THEFT/WAREZ to offer commercial software for free to others.
Do it again and get banned.

Does anyone know how to view bank sites, I have tried neally everything from "ThunderHawk" which is the only one that works but you have to pay yearly subsciption. It just seems stupid that we pay so much for a ppc phone and we get such basic programs, eg: word, PIE. The processors in a PPC now are bigger than an older laptop that can run anything you want currently on the market neally so what the F##K is Microsoft doing. They bring out PPC 2003 and sure it runs faster but it has PIE on it that you can't even do everday banking on.
Any one know of a tweak or program that will allow me to access NetBank Australia. :?:
Try Netfront
It works for me........
There's also a registry tweak which I can't remember right now. That will fool the pocket explorer into reporting it's a different version when connecting to a web site which would probably allow you to view the bank site.
If I remember correctly, the error message you get says you need a newer version of PIE. There is a freeware program called RegKing that includes a simple menu of registry tweaks, one of which fools websites into thinking PIE is version 5, which should be high enough to get on their sites.
Here's a link:
http://www.doctorce.com/
RegKing is the brainchild of Chris De Herrera and Terence "Dr. CE" Goggin.
Still no luck with PIE
I can log into NETBANKS website and enter my ID and password and then it goes onto the site OK but when I am on the site I can't click on anything, eg. To "transfer Money", "exit NetBank" or click on the account number to view transactions.
When I click on anything I get a popup that reads "Microsoft JScript runtime error. Line: 126 Character: 2 Error: Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment."
Any help ME. :?:
I have tried the tweak to internet Explorer 5.0, didn't make any difference, I have tried ToggleIE, doesn't work either.
Natwest
I to do internet banking at home, or on the works pc...
Like many of you others out there I look forward to this flaw and many others being fixed on the pocket pc. ANy help developers?
It looks like this is something more than a quick fix...
Why dont you complain to your bank.
It all depend on whether the particular bank even bother to cater for handhelds.
Ive found wm2003 able to access more sites including bank sites.
Come on now, complain to the bank, how many thousand customers and I ring up and say I want to use NetBank with my PPC and I expect them to redo there million dollar web site, don't think so...... But I will take your advise and try.
What I am getting at is there is a way to do it as "ThunderHawk" software works, so there is software that can go on the PPC that will work with bank sites, they have made a browser that is nearlly or if not the same as internet explorer on your computer. But they are to expensive and an on going cost. There are programs like NETFRONT 3.0 which have so much more than PIE but still have not gone all the way, why bother if you are going to stop short. Why can't microsoft just make a proper PIE, as I said before, its not as if theres not enough hardrive space or processor speed. Why half hearted products. This is the main problem with PPC, the gap between a PPC and a normal computer is to big. I wanted to print invoices out on the job, so I copied my invoice from word in my computer to the PPC and wala, Its now F##ked it looks nothing like the PC one and its so hard to edit the margins on PPC. I should really stop going on, its Microsoft what more could I expect........
According to many news sites from the summer (like these : http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2008/jun08/06-10BloombergMobilePR.mspx and http://visualstudiomagazine.com/news/article.aspx?editorialsid=9987), there is apparently a Bloomberg application for windows mobile similar to the iphone app. Yet, I cannot find any place to download this. Does anyone have any information on this?
Seems to be more or less an Asian thing, neverless here the MSN Search results: http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=Bloomberg+"Windows+Mobile"+download&src=IE-SearchBox
still cannot find a download site with that search from msn.com
http://bbmobile.bloomberg.com/winmo.html
yeah ...check out guys with above link ..its 472kb only cab file
Looks like you might need a Bloomberg Professional Account in order to use the Mobile Application.
I installed the .cab file on my phone, (then registered on bloomberg via the normal bloomberg website using my pc), but cannot login via the app on my mobile. It does not recognize my login name and I cannot register via the mobile...Any ideas???
Winmo is losing out big time.

Indeed, there is a bloomberg app for winmo, but it is not free. the site to download is http://bbmobile.bloomberg.com/winmo.html , but you got to register to use it. The normal account you registered cannot be use on the bloomberg winmo app. To use it, you need to call up to bloomberg and sign up a "bloomberg anywhere" account. I did call up for the same issue. to sign up, it will cost thousand per month, while iphone is giving it for free. Even Big Players such as Yahoo and Autodesk went over to iPhone.
Now u see the reason for iphone wave. If this continue, iPhone will monopolise the smart phone market. Some ppl like me, thought that Blackstone is a potential iPhone killer. After get the blankstone, I will say blankstone is good, BUT it is nowhere close to what iPhone have to offer. Some even think that Palm Pre could be the next iPhone killer. But after the review, I think not.
My next phone set could be iPhone. Hope Winmo will catch up by then. Good Luck to Winmo user like me. Major thing i still using Blackstone, is GPS and bluetooth. If iPhone can resolve these issue somehow, I dun think any of the other phones can stand before iPhone any more.
Its here! the non-pro version like for the iphone.
Been looking awhile for this, wonder why they are so quiet about it..

perfect. thanks a lot. any alternatives?
Thanks for the link. However, I cannot get it work on my Jasjam wm 6.1. I get the following error message:
Bloomberg Mobile.exe
MissingMethodException
File or assembly name 'System.Data.SqlServerCe, Version=3.0.3600.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3BE235DF1C8D2AD3', or one of its dependencies, was not found.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a workaround? I'll be very grateful for any assistance.
Hi,
Could you pls supply the cab file?
Thanks.
I was searching around for a sync tool that would simply allow me to synchronise my camera and video files from my HTC Leo. I found this shareware application which does this and much more.
Synchronise any folder from or to your PC and WM device using your Activesync Connection.
Despite being Japanese in origin, the interface is in simple english and extremely easy to use.
Many of you may already be aware of this, but I thought it merited a dedicated thread.
The authors website and download links can be found here..MobiSync Website.
Registration after a 30 day trial costs $8, so great value.
Thread moved to Dev&Hacking - Apps&Games.
it's not freeware it is shareware
MobSync is a software allowing any file folder synchronization from the PocketPC onto the desktop--synchronization which cannot be done with ActiveSync(or Vista).
Supported ActiveSync4.5. or Vista
Trial time is 30 days. There is no function limitation.
Another solution is goodsync http://www.goodsync.com/ which can sync mot just mibole device but also sync sftp, ftp webdrive etc...... Not a freeware
Correction
I apologise, first post corrected.
Registration
I have now registered MobSync and the license cost $8, so it is great value.
I have been using this for a while and it is a great sync app. If you want a freeware version then you can try v0.94. However I found this didn't have the great functionality that I needed so bought v2.0.3. For a few £'s you can't go wrong - I know my documents are always up to date on my TP2, and if I change them, will update back on my PC.

Can you tell us exactly what functionality is lacking in the freeware version 0.94? You write "it didn't have the great functionality of v 2.0.3" (which is shareware).
I (and probably other readers) would liek to know--exactly what is that "great functionality" that is in 2.03, but lacking in 0.94?
Both will sync your files, correct?
I know with the pay version you can specify multiple folders and also filters for which files you want to sync. Also you can specify how to sync (copy new files, exact copy, keep same as...) this is all the functionality I use, and I know at least some of that was missing on the free version. It's been a long time since I used the free version, and it would be better you install it and see if it does everything you want. If not, give the shareware version a go, I think you can trial it.
I have written a new Windows GPS application for outdoor activities. It uses free maps from the internet, and shows road maps, satellite images and, in the UK, OS maps. It has a simple route planner and records trails of the path taken.
It differs from existing applications I could find in that it can download data for an area using a home broadband connection, and then work offline in the field. This avoid excessive data charges when roaming, and also allows the program to be used where there is no phone signal.
The program comes in 2 versions - a desktop one for XP/Vista/Win7 and a mobile one for Win CE, WinMo 5 & 6 (but not yet 7). It works on legacy Win CE SatNav systems. The desktop version can download data to the mobile device or, if it has internet access, the mobile unit can download its own data.
I hope sell a version of this, but am currently finishing the development. If any-one would like to try it and provide feedback, I would be very grateful.
Where to download a trial-version from?

Hello all,
I have recently purchased a few HP Ipaq PDAs, I believe one is an R4000 and the other R4100 (Or H4000, can't recall) anyway they're running Windows Mobile 2003. I have also purchased a HTC HD2 running Windows Mobile 6.5.
I have got hold of loads of Pocket PC games but only maybe 1 in 20 will run on either of these devices. Normally I get an error of "Not a valid Pocket PC Application" or similar. I found an FTP site with various games/apps for download specifically listed as either "Pocket PC" or "WM2003" but again, only a small selection seem to work.
Am I missing something? Is there a better source I should go to (I appreciate none shall be named here but if someone could hint). I would have thought looking for WM2003 apps would be the ones I need for the IPAQs and Pocket PC apps should work on either but at least one of the devices.
Any help would be appreciated
