green LED flashing orange for Notifications? - HTC Startrek

Hallo all,
i search a way to flash the green LED in orange for notifications. I test Don'tForget2 and Keylock WM5 but on Qtek 8500 don't work :-(
Then i found this for other Smartphones-> Change ringtone/vibrate/LED flash characteristics
I chance this two registry entrys ->
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\Ringtone0 -> Scripts
HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/Notification/Script
But it don't work :-( The LED flash still green.
On my Mteor it works fine. Registry entry works and both programs too but on my Qtek 8500 don't.
I see in the registry that this entry HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\AllLEDMgr is missing. The folder AllLEDMgr is nonexistent. But why?
Is anybody here who can help me to resolve my problem?
My device is an Qtek 8500 with Rom Version 3.6.251.0
Cheers!

Startup Screen

Hi every one:
I did the upgrade yesterday for my qtek but the upgrade is for O2 so i found that the startup screen is for the O2, is any one know how to change the startup screen????
The startup screen is fixed in the ROM. So you're not able to change it.
Only possibilities are to cook your own rom in your own ROMkitchen or stay at the qtek software...

Changing the splash screen on WM5 Vario II ?

Hi,
Is there a way to edit the splash screen on my Vario II?
I've upgraded to the cingular rom 1.34 with radio 1.16 but now whenever I reboot I get the white & orange 'Cingular .. raising the bar" screen.
I think this could be done on the older roms using ER2003EDIT to edit the NBF file, is it possible on my Vario II?
Thanks,
Mark

Quick answer: It is not possible (yet!), as the Hermes uses a new format (NBH) and any upgrade must be signed with a proper key (which HTC won't tell you) before it can be flashed.
Read the wiki if you want to know more.

Jamin rom downfall

I tried to upgrade my imate jamin s200 to smart1_wm6_pp8mb. since the operation did not finished I unplugged the usb cable, therefore the machine didn't work and opening now. now some messages are appearing on the screen (IPL:2.15.0001; SPL 2.15.0001; GSM 02.19.21; OS:10.1.0.811)
i need your urgently help... How can i fix it this problem and upgrade my rom again?
Put your Jamin into bootloader mode (camera button hold+softreset with stylus), connect it via USB (not on a hub!!!!) with your PC and try to flash the last update of Qtek, Orange, iMate or something else you like! If your device booting after this correctly you can re-try the flash to WM6!
I switched yesterday many times between Qtek 2.20 Ger, Orange UK, O2 Ger nd smart1's clear WM6 and had no problems during this!
Thank you very much, could you plase upload here i cant find the last update ,
i''m waiting you..
i dont know what is my qtek last update How can i learn it?
When you want to know what ROM you have flashed to your device, go to Start -> Settings -> System -> Device Information! Here you can find all information you need!
By the way: the latest Qtek update for the S200 is 2.20! You can find it trough Gooogle or the board search! Good luck!

Hi animelover,
Just a question...Do you use the OS extract tool to flash only the os without changing the IPL/SPL, or the roms that you wrote about have no IPL/SPL upgrade? I mean did you fash directly or you flashed only the extracted OS?
Thanks!

LOCK during Upgrading

Hi,
I had a WM6 Rom, pre-release, one of the Self Made available here ... I do not remember which one of the versions ...
I wanted to put the official WM6 rom, so this morning I downloaded and I tried to install it.
The installation started with my Tytn connected, the Tytn screen switched to HERM IPL-1.00 and the Red, Green, Blue, White Stripes ... and the installation continued.
Then I received a connection error from the Program ...
Now my Tytn is stuck on the "Stripes" Screen and even removing the battery and resetting ... the Stripes screen is always there ...
Any Clue ?
Thanks !

Ok ... Classic noobing: do a search before posting ... I am looking at the "Help post for bricking" and trying the solutions, but I have to understand why bricked ...
I love this forum ...
Recovered my Tytn: I was in this case
SPL 1.01MFG
HTC_BOOT Any
Boot OS No
No GSM? No
KITL No
Diagnostic Solution: Stuck in bootloader after flash Mtty: "set 14 0" and "task 8" if doesn't help flash OS.nb again.
With those magic command, my Tytn restarted and booted !!!
Some more informations:
I have Rom WM 6.0 Custel 2.5 Version (ROM Date 04/17/07)
Radio Version 1.43.00.00
Protocol Version: 32.76.7020.19H
I tried to flash the Official HTC WM6 Italian, and you know the result ... What's worng ? Thanks
