851010014" i intalled again the activesync flash my phone again...
can sambody write ani soutin for my problem? thx a lot

Hi Guys,
My xdaII died while I was trying to upgrade to WM2003SE. Now there is a black screen with message USB v1.01. No matter how many times I reset the device, it does not get past this screen. When connected to pc, Windows XP detects USB device BUT activesync 3.8 says not connected. and if I run the ROM upgrade it comes with error ERROR 101: CONNECTION ERROR.
Any ideas from anyone who has gone thru this.
I would really appreciate help.
First thing to do calm down and relax.. you xdaII will be revived in no time
Press "Power Button" + "Reset Button" to go to bootloader screen then try to reflash it again...

Done that about 15 times now same problem and same error I am afraid.
try this
put it in bootloader mode and start reflashing it aggain
you can try it with another pc if the problem is activesync
but if boot loader start you can put the rom back i think
himalayaupgrade doesnt use activesync

HI im Robin, nd im using O2 XDA II Pocket PC
few days back i tried to upgrade windows version to WM2003 SE but coz of sum reason upgrading failed inbetween and now my XDA showing same thing as said above...... "SERIAL V1.03" on the screen.
im not very much familier abut this all i hv few questions...
1) Will my phone get well again?
2) Is my mobile in bootloader mode?
3) How to turn it in normal mode again?

Does it show USB v1.0? when connected to the PC? If so then it should be reflashable.

i learned everything bout my wallaby here; upgraded my rom thousand times

rom: wm2003 (qtek version)
ive cooked myself a rom at romkitchen as i made hundreds of times before; i downloaded the exe; i connected my pda thru activesync - everything normal until here- and it shyncs wit my pc; then i open the exe file i downloaded but it sayz: "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote device"
i restarted my Pc; soft reset and hard reset the pda; and re-installed active sync; but still no success
any ideas???
Your currently installed ROM prohibits flashing via Active Sync. You have to reflash via SD-Card....

oki thnx, problem solved
1.I noticed that the phone won't connect anymore to the pc trough active sync or wm5torarge
so
2.I tought it can be some problem with active sync and i reinstalled it but again no connection
3.I hard reseted the device..and after that the phone wasn't having sound and when it had the sound was going very fast and at a low volume
i'm using windows professional 6.1 v2 of erofich
the cable is ok because the charging light turns on when i connect the device
and i can't reflash cause i can't copy spl files to jump in bootloader mode
anybody can help?

i have a little annoying problem with the USB cable for the HD.
since yesterday, it wont respond.
im getting thos messages:

i cant Sync between any files and that sucks..
anyone knows how to solve this problem? the USB cable only charging my device and with now sync.

BTW, i tried RESET the comp, the HD, and nothing changed.

was this working before? you say you are using windows 7
is that a new install and now you cant connect to your phone?
you can removing the updated drivers that was installed, this could put things right for you.
try removing activesync and do a fresh install of activesync and if that does not help remove usb drivers and re-install them with out connecting your hd.
almost every time i have had my pdas or phone not being able to connect to activesync it has been software or drive related.

i've a problem, when i try to do HSPL on my htc hd2, the installation fail, because it waits the USB connection from phone, but without success. I've do it without problem, with windows xp, one year ago, but now with Windows 7, i've this connection problem on bootloader, and i don't understand why, i haven't probelem with mobile manager center of windows, i can share and connect the phone without problem there.
What could be the problem?
