Now I have upload the tool package ""temp.rar" help you upgrade WM5 to WM6.
step:
1. unzip to c:\windows\temp
2. enter engineering mode for HP68x8
3. excute c:\windows\temp\Device Software Update Utility.exe
4. delete all file except .exe and ROM file when show "NEXT" dialog.
that it can not update Eboot, so you don't wrong upgrade fail, if so you can re-upgrade. Eboot same like PC's BIOS. and ROM same like PC's OS.
5. click "next" to upgrade ROM until sucessful.
So... how far away are we from an English WM6?

有时间写下怎么移植的,leixu的方法,我只是做了几遍,做点补充
需要工具，XBETA，RomEditor，G'Reloc
前面两个是解包封包的工具，第三个是地址定位工具，如果只是DIY ROM，ROMEDITOR已经足够，XBETE也是解包工具，但解出来
的包分区分得很细致，方便对ROM里的文件类型进行辩认。ROMEDITOR解出来的文件只有一个目录，在里面找出某个软件简直大海捞针
下面开始！
1、用ROMEDITOR将刷机包diskimage_Ver.nb0解开，得到imgfs_raw_data.bin和imgfs_removed_data.bin，DUMP目录
imgfs_raw_data.bin文件57M，这个就是系统部分了，前面那个不用管。
2、将DUMP目录改名备份，也可以在ROMEDIT解imgfs_raw_data.bin时直接终止。(不过ROMEDITOR对新内核的rom无效了,dll里面是空的.)
3、运行Xbeta_DumpROM.exe，它会解开imgfs_raw_data.bin文件，并且区分得很仔细。
4、将两个注册表文件备份出来。default.hv、user.hv
5、进行相关的驱动替换，驱动都在OEM目录里。\\imgfs_raw_data.bin.dump\OEM\a3b86cf7-0a1a-4df0-b0c4-d74afe55b5f1\
touch.dll，Wavedev.dll，pxa27x_keypad_Us.dll，这三个分别为触摸屏，声卡，键盘驱动，加iPAQUtil.dll(重要) 覆盖时是考文件夹格式的驱动 其它的自己摸索。
6、将imgfs_raw_data.bin.dump目录下的SYS和OEM目录复制出来放在工具的同一目录下。将imgfs_raw_data.bin文件复制到rom目录下
7、运行Xbeta__CreateROM.exe，功能是形成一个DUMP目录并封包，运行Xbeta_CreateROM.exe，弹出BuildOS.exe，点击上面的绿色开始键（System让它默认不要改它),当build os完之后左下角会显示个Done字，先别关掉这个窗口。这时你可以看见多了一个temp目录.再将imgfs_raw_data.bin.dump根目录下的零散文件复制到temp/DUMP目录下。
8、将备份的注册表也复制到dump目录下（因为Xbeta_CreateROM.生成DUMP目录时会根据里面的HV文件重新生成注册表文件，但由于这些系统也是东拼西凑来的，所以生成的注册表根本没法使用）
9、这时还要修改一下驱动模块，双击temp目录进去里面,把G'Reloc.exe复制到里面去.将DUMP目录改名为SYS，运行G'Reloc.exe点击DOIT等一小会直到DONE出现（"misar大侠新出的这个工具解决了原来需手工算MODULE的问题（手工修改麻烦死的），用G'Reloc.exe生成出的ROM就是MODULE地址全部修正后的。"）。等右下角变成done之后就关掉G'Reloc.exe，再把sys目录重命名回dump，再返回build os画面。这下可以关掉build os了，直接点击右上角的X吧，然后又会一直DOS刷屏……
10、做完上面的工具我们就可以将DUMP考到工具的同一目录下,用ROMEDIT封包，到此整个移植过程完毕。(要将原diskimage_Ver.nb0留在根目录里,因为封包是更新rom,不是新建一个)

Here is the upgrade procedure,.
1. Enter BootLoader menu (by pressing "Camera button + Reset button")
2. Connect XDA ATOM to PC using USB cable
3. Run "DSUU.exe" (located in "O2 Atom WM6 Premium" folder)
4. Perform Hard Reset when it finished
Well, this is not a perfect ROM, but this ROM could make you call anyone or send message to anyone,.
and If you found that this ROM is buggy, report / share it,.
Finally, if you dont like it, then remove it,.

I can't load core wm6 on oxy. I use Imgfs tools(BuildImgfs.exe, make_imgfs.exe), htcrt, NBHextract and RGUEdit from 4pda.ru
You put make wm6 for oxygen and wm6 compatibile this device.

i have flashed with all wm5 and only os wm6. the flash start and arrived at 100% but a window message says flash error and when i reset the smartphone dont work it is stopped after htc logo.
You worked with pkgtool? He is not work ready. Use imgfs tools.

Rom PT only gullum coffee wm6 with WPA2 support not WM6.1, this ROM have some language bugs but not important in normal use. I use this one, because have support to wpa2 protocoll.
MAXsniper is trying to port WM6.1 to portuguese language. But are not ready.
MAXsniper is responsable for my depression.
In this case waiting is a virtude.

I went to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355915 and then to the FTP and downloaded a 60Mb file, this file includes all OS+apps right ? I will read the trhread above to see if I find a step-by-step help because I don't want to lose time or fu.. my phone hehe.

You have to follow the insrutions of ROM developer. Normally you have to hardspl the device, it's simple and do not require to pre-flash with a pre-ROM that have the objective to unlock the device to flash the ROM that you want.
So, the last ROMs you have to hardspl the device, but if you want to revert, for reasons of waranty, you have to flash with ROM that came with the buy of the device.
I have the Coffee ROM, and I have to try the new big storage (in English).
How have you Know the date of the 6.1 PT?
Ok, the developer told me that in 2 weeks it will be out. As I'm not in a hurry and I'm not using now the QTEK S200 phone, I will wait so then I will install the latest 6.1PTG to not touch it anymore for years lol
You may get addicted to flashing like a lot of people here though!

Vista users have to copy Upgrade_ROM.bat to the keepout folder and run it from there.
Warning: First flash back to WM5. I'm using a new update utility. The only thing you need to do is to click the batch file and wait. You don't need to copy cabs or other things anymore. But be sure you made a hard reset after flashing!!
The first startup of WM6.5 can take up to 5 min.

ON Wizard and Prophet it works. But it isn't as shiny as it is on new devices and it is very slow. But I'll try to get it ok.

Best of luck, I tryed it on a Universal and was poor on speed and a few graphical glitches when rotating the screen.
At the moment there are porblems withit. It doesn't boot. So we'll have to wait some more time.

My XDA IIs that I only use for satnav froze on me so looked for a link to reset the op system from 6.1 to whatever to make it work.
Found the following link (http://pinoytopdownloads.blogspot.com) with a zip file for WM 6.5 which worked perfect and it didnt lose any data sucjh as contacts etc when upgrading either.
Just open the zip file, rest PDA and sync with PC then run the prog and 20 mins later... it will be running WM 6.5.
Havent had any probs and the new touchflow system makes it a pleasure to use now.
Don't install that file. I haven't tried it but he said he is using a XDAII. But Charmer was never released as XDA (O2) version. Nobody will help you in this thread if you install this file. But I'll test it next week. Maybe I'm wrong.

Hi there that is a Blue Angel rom Don't try to install on Charmer
As I said before. . And swampy, I've tested the coredll in my ROM. It boots. My PC crashed so I can't give you the ROM at the moment but I'm trying to get it. And I'm waiting for cracing to upload a ported SYS or us. Hope we'll get it soon.

Hi mata I have a 21159 sys folder ported for BA but the charmer kitchen i have will not port the xip so if you can send a link for the os.nb and boot.rgu with the 6.5 xip that boots I will finnish the sys folder and post you a link to the ported sys P.S. please make the os.nb as large as posible 58,368KB as my kitchen will not change os.nb size
The charmer rom I have up 20275 Build was ported from my BA kitchen with no troubles at all booted first time
I got the cracing 6.5 rom but have not tryed it !!!! don't want to burn my charmer

I fix keyboard problem. But some times it dont want to work
First install applications which you want. Then install Resco keyboard. Then restart your 6815. When you want to install another application, you must reinstall Resco keyboard again.

Hi Frantic,
I have problem with my 6828 device, I have accidentally flash using ATOM ROm, now I can reflash.
Stages now is I have remove my battery for a min, and press "-" both to boot at Bootloader Screen V1.01, but then I trying to flash on helloworld1, and others even WM5 also nothing help.
BTW, can I know anyway you could help, and also how can I know the Ipaq is flashing? any button to press, or indication?
