Hi experts,
I've acciedentally flashed my O2 atom life to a wrong rom, and it was recovered by a rom named AL1.DIO & ExRom.img which downloaded from xda FTP sites.
The rom was recovered,however for the warranty reason i need to flash back to O2 original firmware. And when try to flash to it I encountered "Wrong Customer ID", can someone help me how to bypass the CID check and flash to original ROM?
I've tried on the post stated on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293632 but the screen didn't show anything after execute the .exe file.
I do not wish to unlock the CID just intend to bypass it, can any experts gimme any idea?

i donno if this idea will work... but worth a try...
flash with a custom made ROM for yr device.... then flash with yr company ROM
Go O2 website to download the original ROM. Its shld be pretty simple and straightforward

Thanks for the comment. Yes I tried to flash to a custom made ROM but still failed to update back to original latest ROM from O2. Sigh...

Hey guys can someone help me here, i just flash the ATOM_LIFE_-_PDAVIET_ROM_6.1__Core_19214__by_TranMinhMan ROM to my atom life but now i intend to change back to Medkid ROM but seem it won't work, Now it only stop at the " Module AT Mode ". So what have i done wrong can i reflash to other Rom anymore. Please please help me. thanks.

Try to reformat your MiniSD card to FAT16 & flash again & flash again.
i did but still no luck. Do you think is best for me to flash it back to the original rom would that help?
What is the capacity of your memory card? Try using a less than 512 MB and check. Yes flashing back to the original OS would solve the problem as well coz there are no memory cards involved.

I Sold my HTC Hero, and the buyer wants the official Rom. i know the latest official rom by htc was an 2.1 version, since i installed an unofficial rom, i cant reset it back to the deafault rom, so is there any way i can get the official HTC rom back on my hero?

no you just run the .exe file, and it will give you all the instructions
I checked software updates for my phone and detected a new software (as the title says). I've downloaded the file but for some reason, the installation always aborted. Can someone please look into this and create a flashable (CWM) version?

Do you UNLOCK the bootloader, ROOT your Phone and flash new CWM? If yes, you must flash original recovery and RE-LOCK bootloader
I tried searching for original recovery but failed. Do you have a copy on hand?

I have extracted my Recovery from an RUU File which is from HTC ASIA
RUU_PRIMO_DS_ICS_40A_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.60.707.5_Radio_1.05.34D.29_20.21.30.23U_release_264526_signed.exe
and this Stock Recovery.img has worked with my INDIA Stock Rom 1.60.720.7, too
I restored the original recovery and relocked the phone but still, can't update the software after downloading the file. It updates but stopped at around 25%, flashed the "X" mark on the screen and hung. I badly want my phone to be up to date. Hope someone could upload a latest .zip file that I can install by CWM.

if u flash the deodexed ROM u must restore u previos ODEX ROM state and flash original boot.img
Woah! That's a lot of files... original boot.img and ODEX ROM. Need to search them around this forum and internet. Gotta find a "Asian WWE" ROM.

had same problem after 3rd time installing stock and factory resets it came back
where did you get stock ?
there is odin ready (cut with PIT included) working 5830i stock here http://www47.zippyshare.com/v/28003340/file.html
follow guide included and make sure reformat partition is checked
rom is in english

I dont remember where i got stock rom.. Its a german one from vodafone..
I followed your guide and installed your rom but still no IMEI
Mine is the 5839i not the 5830i, i dont know if that has anything to do cuz they are the same right?

same phones mine worked after 3rd time install with odin then root unlock then jellyblast, reroot and all is good
also try restarting and full data wipe from recovery
as well

First i tried to delete my stock rom and install a new rom.
I followed all the instructions...but i didnt see that...unlocking a bootloader in build370(indian version) creates bootloop. :crying:
later with a backup i managed to restore the backup....
but now im stuck since i can't update any official release neither install any custom rom
Whatever new os i try to install i get a bootloop its a build problem i just want to reverse my build to old one:crying::crying::crying:

You need to flash stock recovery ..flash rollback pkg and the have to flash desired firmware which ever number you want to flash....
For custom ROM you have to be on 350 or under firmware number..
You have Indian variant??

i have a doubt...since i have unlocked my bootloader i can't officially update on my phone....i still get update notification but if i click update it will go into bootloop, so my question is will this work if it is in this condition?

if you have twrp installed then OTA update will give bootloop.
if you have stock recovery it it will install without any error..
doesnt matter if your bootloader is lock or unlock

you will have to download whole firmware to get stock recovery out of it..
or you can ask someone who have stock recovery.img for your model..

okay i have downloaded the whole firmware of b350....but in that post it say do not install it when you have twrp,if installed i will get bricked anyway after this what i have to do?

make a all partitions twrp backup of your stock rom first..all partitions
the then extract b350 which you have downloaded with huawei update extractor(its an app you can download from google)
then flash stock recovery which you have extracted from b350 and flash it via adb fastboot..
then downgrade to b350 by following the guide which i send you..
do some research when you feel its ok to do so then do it.
