I have 'created' an function to uptade ours devices with RUU...........
first step, install and hard SPL done by Prislav, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=349900
2º install this wm6 rom... http://www.megaupload.com/pt/?d=5XRZP0U0 (i have put an OS of XB FUSION, and Radio rom and Extended rom of an wm5 rom,) i hope someone can put the extended rom of wm6 on an .nb format, to have the rom at 100% sucessfull!
I think this is a start point to ours wm6 roms

Yes work great and you can make nbf file from all old install method is so, so easy
So does it require a WM5 rom first, or can you flash WM6 ontop of WM6?
ontop WM6, it's like an official update.
But if you've Vista forget it, RUU is uncompatible with Vista.
So no more batch files!!! Yay!

Why to be so agressive ? I just say it's easy to make nk.nbf (same as WM5) from OS.nb I don't say another thing ...

I just replaced the RUU with Vista_RUU
It's now comaptible with vista >>> I just did HardSPL and worked

I read this forum for a while now and was just wondering if anyone has built a custom WM2003SE ROM for an Alpine or Andes device with romkitchen or other tools - I'm very interested since I'd like to add some files to ROM - or is it just not possible yet? Maybe I just used wrong search criteria?

romkitchen is ONLY for wallaby devices(xda1's)
the whole concept dont make sence for the other devices
where the only part of the rom you can alter is the extented rom
and you can add to that any time you need not just before flashing rom

That's the problem - it's NOT possible to unlock the ExROM.
if it's unpossible now then you can always hope that somebody are working on it i guess

u can try this sw... it works for 2i
Doesn't work for XDA2i running WM2003SE

1st is
Superrrom version 1.1 (discussion about this rom is in another thread on xda-dev)
Rom is WWE
BOOT time is only 32 seconds
about 32MB free ram
and 45 MB free rom

i have been working in the crossbow....and my friend we got months of work till there is a ROM that matches the current akus...... mms in in but cant configure ....camera app from the current akus doe not work because it require an htc certificates. also the ROM as Little space to integrate apps....like java etc.... so by the time we finish the rom it will have so many bugs as an ant hill. ehehe.and we are laking real rom chefs in the wizard department. once you integrate some of the apps the rom becomes real slow to.
but i guess we cannot expect more from a leaked test ROM.eh eh we have already fixed several issues in the current version.

yes, extracts RUUwrapper & the nbh file in some temp folder located inside documents and setings.

When you flashed the ROM, did you put it into RUU or did you just use the exe file?

Try downloading it again, the file may be corrupt.
tried many times...
same error "fail to open .exe"///
New radio (v1.41.00.10) up and running, doesn't appear to be any problems, will report in a couple of days.
Hopefully another great find!

hi if you mean the touch cube then just slide your finger from top to bottom of screen and the cube pups up

You make great roms, but I cant upgrade my Neo Race with this new WM6 upgrade method. Many users have same problem, the rar witch is att. to the post is badly packed, the instructions are ok. But Neo just stuck at bootloader, I done the hardSPL upgrade.

I had something similar:
Well, I just flashed my IPL back to 2.10, then the original XDA-NEO Firmware 2.15.xxx (just to compare speed)
Then soft-SPL, after that Hard-SPL, then flashed ShadoW and - whoops... stuck at boot-time without any Radio-ROM. Flashed
Is your RadioROM gone or is it still there?
gone through HardSPL (if not already done so), Flashed Radio 2.19.21 (or any release (if it's missing), did a Hard-Reset (optional), went into bootloader and flashed ShadoW again and everything was fine. For MultiX it should be similar

Yes, I think. I'll try a Jestez AKU 2.2 --> HARD SPL --> Gullum's X Touch.
I think this new method isn't good like old one. Old was much more simple, I dont thing the new one is hard or anything like that but people have much more problems.

Logic it's a VGA device with all Hardware different, we can port XIP and build but never the OEM parts

The image file is also bigger than the memory our prophets have!
NEVER EVER TRY TO FLASH A ROM BIGGER THAN THE OFFICIAL ROMS!!!!!
(they are 58MB for OS part)

I dumped the ROM, and was looking at things in it, but then my spare hard drive (what I was playing around with it on) died and now I can't get it to dump properly! I hate windows and old hard drives!!!

No tomtom in this one
Cloudyfa told me, Diamond ROm is not so good.
But no Problem. I will try Gullum's ROM later, based from Diamond's ROM.
But I will buy Diamond this Year, if it is available in Germany.
Soon. Juni 2008.
And I will have that "things".
