Hi,
got news that a new 'XDA Compaq' is available in Dubai-UAE??
specs include 64Mb and the new Xcale chip. Has anyone heard abt this new venture?
rgds
Seems unlikely - The xda is made by HTC, and Compaq/HP make the IPAQ. Two seperate companies.
What makes you think this?

Alex.

Hmm,
as far as I know HTC produces Jornada (PPC2002), all IPAQs, Cassiopeia 200, xda, mda, orange spv, microsoft compal, ...
Hacktheplanet - you are right, I've been doing a bit of digging this afternoon, but not seen anyhting about XScale Compaqs, yet.

The new Xscale HP Ipaq is due out this spring. You can already pre order it @ http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=IPAQ5000GPRS. Check out http://www.davespda.com
It is rumoured to have wifi/GSM/GPRS & Bluetooth (Thats why the 5450 has a sim slot behind the battery). Should be good!
And you are right - HTC did make the Ipaq etc... Not sure about now though!
Hi
Here, I am sharing a link about useful tips & tricks for Windows Phone devices.
Especially for users outside United states.
Awesome Tips & Tricks for Windows Phone
With Ubuntu Touch coming for Razr and being most compatible, I just wanted to know how would Ubuntu Touch work when Docked to Lapdock 100 / Lapdoc 500 this would be a true testament to Ubuntu idea of Oneness... Hashcode or davidhackerdvm could you please keep this in perspective while developing the codes for Razr. :good:
P.S: New to XDA thus can't post it in Development... Mods may shift this to respective Section
So I've been researching on using a Nexus 7 as a car audio replacement. Although all the information I am finding is regarding Gen 1, and not Gen 2.
So my hunt begins with a pre built option with the same features.
Has anyone found a decent 2 din radio with the functionality of a tablet?
I found this item number on eBay - 181316916363 (Sorry, I am restricted from outside URL's)
This is what is somewhat poking my wallet, but wanted to get more information from others before making the purchase.
Thanks
Hi guys,
just came across to the Kickstarter project- Tado Cooling.
They make ACs smart and will develop a Windows Phone app if they can reach their goal. Please support the idea! I want to control my AC with my Lumia :good::good::good:
As far as I understand, they don't have plans to support Windows Phone handsets at all, only iOS/Android. Also, they have only 1,564 backers, so project probably will fail - Chinese manufacturers will work with 10K+ orders only.
