I have atom xda life ... i upgraded to WM6 new DSSU ..
Now i have problems i can only use one simcard in my country ... only VODACOM ,,,
The rest of the sim card are accepted but calls do not go out nor come in ,,,
Can someone guide me please as to what is wrong with this phone ... I need to fix this problem ,,,
IS my phone Locked somehow ?

till now I wasted 3 weeks of searching and investigating but it seems there is no direct way to do this till now , So, I decide to ask the experts here for a help .
Kindly if anyone here has an idea how to upgrade O2 XDA Exec to WM6.5, please provide me with appropriate way.
And please for those who has similar problem let’s share the ideas here.

yeah, cook new rom hehehe. you didn't actually waste 3 weeks of searching, it's just that there are no avail wm6.5 yet for the atom. it's good to know that some people are actually doing their homework before braging to xda-dev.
perhaps you can help the atom users if you can port the wm6.5 to atom

You can always have a try flashing an ATOM LIFE Rom on your XDA....so you really could say: COoOkeD !! )

how ru all, must be fine,if not u wil be fine.i have been searching for any new good rom for my o2 xda atom. i already upgraded my xda atom from wm5 to wm6 professional (aku .7). so i now i want to upgrade to some new version experts and others, to wm6.1 . PDAVIET is somewat unstable for o2 xda atom sometimes my bootscreen changes it colours or its size changes.so which new rom is better for me.and one more question is this all pdaviet versions are safe as it is not the genuine ones .i donnu exactly abot this versions but i thnk these are just modified version.i dunno i am right or wrong but i dont understand these versions.and i am confused with these lots of roms.i am facing probs in this.so exxxperts please help with this .if u have any easy modding imate jam wm6 please provide the links..thnks in advance freinds.
Hey Friend, Im Abhilash, I just gotta tell ya that I too have an xda atom.
And guess what i bought it as a second hand phone as i am not a rich guy.
And you know what, when i got the atom it had no phone on or off option.
The sim detector was not functional. it trie typing *#06# to see the imei no,
it says wireless radio not installed. so i thought that if i install a wm6 rom update it would work. well GUESS AGAIN it went through all the process and
hung up at burn radio stack and it shows burnin radio stack o% in the pc screen. i dont know what to do. when i put the battery it shows upgrade utility. im stuck.... helllpppMEEEE.
if i use mini sd card, what are the steps? what files must be present in the minisd card? when i insert the card, what button am i supposed to press to boot from the minisd card. im a new guy here i dont know how to post a thread. please give me email ids of u and ur friends pleeeaaaasseeeeeeee.

i brought my xda atom to a technician to bring back my dead xda atom using jtag. it was a successful but the problem is, he's having a problem in the radio rom... my xda atom is now alive but we cannot insert a sim card coz of the said problem... any idea to help us? thanks.

You can flash your Atom Life/Comet with ROMs on this site.
you mean with minisd card .... i know this but i dont want cooking rom i need original rom even if atom life model , no problem

For the original ROM you may go to the O2 official site, as most ROMs here are cooked.
i cant find for this model support or original rom and now i m thinking my dutch windows falled down .. it get me screen to make test for touch screen and doesnt load windows
how i can get original rom for atom life and install it with minisd.... please help me

... installing the official ROM can't be done using mini-SD, you have to use the USB cable and ActiveSync.... You can download the official ROM from O2 and WMG site...

I'm not familiar with the thread regarding pavidet's ROM, try reading their thread if they have problem with this, or you may try re-installing again.
