Hello everybody,
I am looking to upgrade my O2 XDA Exec to the new wm6.5.
till now I wasted 3 weeks of searching and investigating but it seems there is no direct way to do this till now , So, I decide to ask the experts here for a help .
Kindly if anyone here has an idea how to upgrade O2 XDA Exec to WM6.5, please provide me with appropriate way.
And please for those who has similar problem let’s share the ideas here.
Looking forward for your helpful response .

yeah, cook new rom hehehe. you didn't actually waste 3 weeks of searching, it's just that there are no avail wm6.5 yet for the atom. it's good to know that some people are actually doing their homework before braging to xda-dev.
perhaps you can help the atom users if you can port the wm6.5 to atom

You can always have a try flashing an ATOM LIFE Rom on your XDA....so you really could say: COoOkeD !! )

Yes. O2. And they won't. And they shouldn't. It took a long time to get WM5 working correctly. The Atom was an alpha device for several months, and then beta, before it finally was a fully working device around nine months after it was released!
I will make the WM6 ROM. I just need the Drivers and Driver Integration Guide.
Great! And when you finally do it please let us know...we're waiting for that ROM so long...

I don't know your device, but you first should find out what the HTC equivalent is. Then search in that forum for an update.
That's the problem...there's no match there's a lot of correspondances from htc phones and others i-mate's...but with my biblic luck not my pdal!!!! heheheh i try to wait and hope that some upgrade for my ppc phone will be released. Anyway thanks to the answer ^_^
Pdal is not an HTC Device, Infact mostnew models from I-mate are not HTC And the trend is expected to continue, especially with the launch of the Ultimate series....

The big problem is that it's not step by step idiot guide to cook and get a new wwe wm6 rom! It's a matter of chance and ofcorse time. The question is as complex as the date of next world war .time is unforcastable but availibility is 100%!
So be patient
We all just wait(except the beta testers ).
P.S: it might be better to ask what is the main problem during the generalization

Hi atom user please be patiently the WM6 0.3 beta was done an under testing period . I think Mr jiggs will release it as everything got stable and ( I guest the OS version maybe change to 0.4 or later ). I try to help jiggs to find a clean official 0.7 version WM6,however it seems without any response..
Finally don't push and the right time you will get the ROM .You know Mr jiggs without any obligation to do this.

I've been reading some of the threads in the forum. I have a XDA Atom Exec. Was trying to find a way to upgrade the WM5 in my set to WM6. It's my first PDA and I know nothing about upgrading or 'cooking' ROMs.... Can someone maybe give me a clue or two on what and how? Many Thanks.
