Hi,
I've been reading some of the threads in the forum. I have a XDA Atom Exec. Was trying to find a way to upgrade the WM5 in my set to WM6. It's my first PDA and I know nothing about upgrading or 'cooking' ROMs.... Can someone maybe give me a clue or two on what and how? Many Thanks.

Just come to http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Atom
and go to upgrading section, you will find the answer there

You cannot find bcoz it does not exists.

So doesn't exist wm6 for qtek, some people try it but no luck until now and I think that most of them they give up. You can find some info about that in startrek section of this forum.

hmm.. i want to ask it..^^..
There are many posts that tell you how to downgrade from wm6 to wm5 say, all i do is run the wm5 install software then it comes up with an error, and then i run it immediately again and it installs, hope this helps

i have a tmobile mda with wm5 on it, i would liek to get wm6 on it but dont have a clue where to even start, anybody lead me in the right direction plz, thanx

I am looking to upgrade my O2 XDA Exec to the new wm6.5.
till now I wasted 3 weeks of searching and investigating but it seems there is no direct way to do this till now , So, I decide to ask the experts here for a help .
Kindly if anyone here has an idea how to upgrade O2 XDA Exec to WM6.5, please provide me with appropriate way.
And please for those who has similar problem let’s share the ideas here.

yeah, cook new rom hehehe. you didn't actually waste 3 weeks of searching, it's just that there are no avail wm6.5 yet for the atom. it's good to know that some people are actually doing their homework before braging to xda-dev.
perhaps you can help the atom users if you can port the wm6.5 to atom

You can always have a try flashing an ATOM LIFE Rom on your XDA....so you really could say: COoOkeD !! )

Hi,on my imate smartflips don't work SDA_ApplicationUnlock and SoftSPL and accordingly the upgrade to wm6 doesn't go to good end,does someone know how to give me a help?
