Touch screen Problem when it boots...fer d first time.. - iPAQ rw6828, XDA Atom ROM Development

[UPDATED 13/02/08] -Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present- (OS CE 5.2.19199 Build 19199.1.0.0)
Lolz i hav updated my ROM to this ROM.....everything goes 5n but when the device starts for the first time ........touch screen wont work ......when it shows Tap the screen to continue,,,,,,
can any 1 help plz.....
Am using HP iPAQ rw6828

You may have a paperweight device! The price for being too lazy in reading nor thinking that they know their device already. Thinking that the Atom/Atom pure is the same with the HP RW6828. Flashing it straight away without checking the consequences how upgrading works.
Another case of a bricked unit, GL mate!

Prash i think you still can find the Rom for your Unit and reflash it... Best of luck...
BTW my thinking says if you get the ROM for your unit and when you attach it to you computer i don't think you will able to see anything on you screen (after going into bootloader) ... Still let it be and let the process happen.. (I might be wrong, but better to try, than do nothing)

BTW wasn't der an Hardware method to REFLASH a dead BootLoader? by some one a few months back..

No, I think the problem which he meet now not is a dead BootLoader.
Because the Bootloader of his device not dead when he can start OS and only touch screen not work...
He should reflash his device with any ROM for 6828 (not ATOM/ATOM EXEC ROM). After do it, I think everything are OK !!!

dude nw i came to no i tried Atom EXEC Rom fer HP iPAQ but i tought Atom series ROMS ll work on HP iPAQ rw6828

Yeah, they are not the same unit mate. so flashing the incorrect ROM would brick your unit.
