I want to cook a official rom,when I downlod it From Htc website?
I need a master to teach me
I want official rom to change universal rom
I want to learn custom my rom
Because I have Sprint Xv6800 phone but My mother don't know English
I need help!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~somebody can help me~~~
Have her learn english...lol.... Doing your own ROM will take a long time and lots of reading.... I suggest you start today....

i dont think you have to learn english first. I am not very good at english but i can cook better than you.

Hey everyone! I Just got my phone, and arrrgg... it's in Spanish! I've been looking around online and I've seen that I have to flash it with an English Rom! But first i'd have to back up the registry. I'm not exactly sure what the process is. I've tired to do some searching, but I guess I'm kind of useless. I have
SO CE 5.2.1622 (compil: 18128.0.4.4) OS 6. From Vodafone Spain.
Is there a guide out there? And where can I get an English ROM? Is a Radio ROM the same as the OS Rom? Thanks! I'd really appreciate all the help I can get!

Man... this is what everybody thinks, once he arrived here. But I'm afraid you have to dig the forums by yourself. First, the "Niki upgrading" forum was the right choice. Read (almost) all stickies over here, but at least:
This one about prerequisites and this one for the excellent English Rom by tom_codon.
Radio and Os Roms are not the same. They can be flashed independently.

Sorry, as far as I know, there are no custom roms that have been cooked for this device.

i am shocked and baffled as this is a very potent device that no one chef is cooking for this device. no HDSPL either for gods sake. its like the forgotten device on here. even samsung offering have roms on here! will have to talk to the powers that be if they will listen to get something rolling on this and see who is willing tio cook for this phone!

Sir I don't get you? each ROM builders used the latest of the latest pakaging.
I'm sure that with some time, reading, and learning, you are more than capable of doing this yourself.

I don't think that you can create a ROM with a program. You could maybe start porting ROMs from other devices with THIS guide

For a start learn to root your phone..... install CWM and learn to use that too...
See how other people ended up bricking their phone..... so that you can avoid it..
There are many forums that can teach you to build a ROM....
