For a start learn to root your phone..... install CWM and learn to use that too...
See how other people ended up bricking their phone..... so that you can avoid it..
There are many forums that can teach you to build a ROM....

The first and best suggestion I can give is use the search feature of the site, and in general search for information. Although I'll provide you with a few links, they may not provide you with all the information you need . Below are a few links to get you started .

Hey guys ... I hope you are doing great....
I have previously installed coustom roms on my win mobile....I am complete new to Android ..
It would be real beneficial if someone posts links to all the threads which help to root and ins install recovery and then coustom roms.........
And just a suggestion that can't you guys upload roms to usaupload.net because it has got resume supports... downloading from 4shared is hard on edge...... thanks...

I am new to XDA developers and new to android. I would like to build custom rom for my XPERIA U. Since i am new to android developement i need some guidance here.
I would appricate if i can get answer to below.
1. guide to build custome ROM
2. Things needs to be taken care while building custom ROM.
3. Is there any device specific action i need to perform while building custom ROM.

[Q] How to install Custom Recovery Mod & revert it back to stock ??

Hi all,
I am new in this advance android flashing world & just wanted to know how can I easily root my micromax a116 canvas HD device to install latest CWM so that i can install custom roms. Also please provide me some tutorials or help if I wanted to revert it back to stock mode, i mean complete uninstall of all these advance apps like CWM and all.

[Q] Samsung Original ROM on other Mobile

Hi Friends,
I don't know much about flashing ROMs and custom ROMs.
I am having Byond B67 phone.
What I want do is, install the any samsung or htc rom or other custom rom on this phone.
Now, I don't know whether I can do it or Not?
And if I can, how it is to be done?

No you can't install roms from HTC/Samsung or any other forum. As Byond have different hardware and software configuration.. The frameworks are different.. You need to port them.. Please head towards Byond forum and see for your taste ROMs..

Is there any developer who can give me an easy tutorial to build a rom for our lovely mido? I want to create my own rom because It's Always a pleasure to give something to you.
