I don't know much about flashing ROMs and custom ROMs.
I am having Byond B67 phone.
What I want do is, install the any samsung or htc rom or other custom rom on this phone.
Now, I don't know whether I can do it or Not?
And if I can, how it is to be done?

No you can't install roms from HTC/Samsung or any other forum. As Byond have different hardware and software configuration.. The frameworks are different.. You need to port them.. Please head towards Byond forum and see for your taste ROMs..

Sorry, as far as I know, there are no custom roms that have been cooked for this device.

i am shocked and baffled as this is a very potent device that no one chef is cooking for this device. no HDSPL either for gods sake. its like the forgotten device on here. even samsung offering have roms on here! will have to talk to the powers that be if they will listen to get something rolling on this and see who is willing tio cook for this phone!

we have a phone called "HTC rider model X515e".
we could not found any custom roms for it. In google we find most of chinese sites but it was difficult to understand.
Any experts here who can guide us to find a custom rom and guide that will suit us.
we have some how managed to root our device.
Any help mates?

If you guys have rooted it then you should also be able to port a Rom as well. There are guides to porting generic Roms, as well as specific guides for CM7/9/10 and certain versions of MIUI.

You can try this one, but there are others as well if you need them. Odds are you guys will have to put in the work yourselves because if it's not a popular phone devs aren't going to take the time to do a one-off port. That said, if you do it yourself you'll learn a lot and be able to bring over any Rom you like.

For a start learn to root your phone..... install CWM and learn to use that too...
See how other people ended up bricking their phone..... so that you can avoid it..
There are many forums that can teach you to build a ROM....

hello guys i have a small doubt.. i want to install a custom rom in lg optimus l9 can i install samsung galaxy s3 rom on lg optimus l9? is it possible, whether it will wok properly??? and also is it possible to install any original roms on any other devices (eg: install sense 5 original rom on galaxy s3) ????

Buddy,Good that you ask these questions here, Firstly PLEASE DONT TRY. The Chances you BRICK your device are very high. if you want a rom for another phone do some research if there is a port for your specific device. if not look for something similar.
If you do get it right (and believe me chances are slim) The chances or feature working is also slim. but if you looking for a great rom Cyanogen mod.
Other than that if you have any questions PM ME and ill try help as much as i possibally can.

I couldn't find a ROM for A80. Had you installed a ROM for A80? Or are the ROM's not suitable for A80?

you are oot from forum section. it must on discusion or guides forum. by the way what u mean rom is? official firmware or custom rom.. if u looking for custom rom i think there's no more dev interesting develop here. u just could get official firmware from samfirmware/ samobile website. i though u were wrong way
