I was wandering if SMS Conversation can be enabled in wm 5?????
I want to go back to wm5 but i really like SMS Conversation! Please say if u know something!!!

I have a Siemens SX56 with Pocket PC phone edition 2002..... Have Special Edition Rom 1.2 installed on it.... Guess it has ver. 3.17.03 base rom version..... PPC phone devices use outlook to send/receive sms messages......
My question is this...... when you write a new sms or reply to an sms, there is no character count.... how do you know when the first sms string is done (i.e., you've written 160 characters)??
Is there some kind of plug-in you can install that adds a character count to your message? Any kind of help will be appreciated. Thank you.
im not sure, but i know the wm2003 roms have a char counter

i searched the forums and everything i cant find anything but my question
is i like the sms thread in 6.1 but i know there a cab file for it so u can have it on
6.0 any help?

It's not going to be the same. There was the threaded SMS cab, but it's not the same b/c it is a separate program. In WM 6.1, when you press the messaging button, you see your emails and text messages together. If you install a cab, it will be a separate program.

hi all,
actually i never want to make a new thread for this, but i've searched for all related post regarding this problem, and i got nothing. Well, the closest solution that i've found is the Zenyee's disable htc messaging interface application, but even that is not working for me.
the problem is the sms messages display in chronological manner, even though of course the threaded messaging option is "ON" by default. This problem only occur if you open the sms by using the manila sms interface (or directly by tap the sms tab), but if you open the sms conversation by using the WM, it looks just fine. I know, maybe it's a porting bug that hasn't been able to be solve (or maybe it isn't).
I just wanna know if anybody has a same problem with me. If yes, what have you done to solve this problem? and one more thing, is there anyway to change the shortcut of the sms tab, so when you tap the sms tab, it takes you to the WM sms display, instead of taking you to the manila sms interface?

hi there i have disabled htc sms/mms and got wm default up and running because its better.
am now able to create personal folders to archive sms and have found software to create sms groups.
so all i need to make it perfect is software for MMS as it is not there in wm mode anyone know of any MMS software for wm 6.5
