Hello Everyone,
I got my new HTC TyTN a week ago and would like to know more about "rom upgrading" since i dont know anything about that. Is there any new or updated rom version for my TyTN, or, is it possible to put the T-Mobile MDA VARIO II rom on my TyTN or any other more stable rom. I currently have the 07/22/06 rom on my htc. Please Help me on this topic.

Ok that answered few questions, but i still have few questions. Is there any more stable rom out there then the one that the HTC TyTN comes with, and is it possible to put the mda vario II rom on my htc ( i cant find it )...

Unfortunetly I do not have my original T-Mobile software/rom on my Hermes. Also I can not find it on the FTP. Could some please put their T-Mobile DUtch rom there?

but I think there is no T-Mobile Rom offered by T-Mobile.
I'm searching for a german rom myself.
I've dumped the rom of my device and that is possible with a dutch rom too, but unfortently you need a signed romimage to play it back to your device.At this time there is no way to do it.

Which is the best and most stable one for the I8000? I need one that will support the United Kingdom.

This is awesome. Can you please briefly explain what each file is, because it is not clear from some file names?
For example, the pt-BR files are what exactly? I assume they are not english? Is there a plain (lite) WWE version of all JG5 or JGx (or JF5/x) available -- one that removes all of the Samsung junk (absolutely bare bones lite version)? I prefer to get a next to 'empty' ROM and then just add the .cab files that I prefer manually, to preserve RAM usage and free up space.
Any particular differences between my current version PDA JE3, CSC JE5, PHONE JD1 and the new JF and JG versions?
Also, does anyone know of a similar link where one can find latest CSC and/or PHONE parts?
EDIT: Is there an O2 [UK] ROM out there? I am with O2 prepaid, but no matter what I try I have never quite managed to get the right settings for mobile internet, etc. I suppose this is a CSC problem, or O2 has specific ROM with settings for that.

Take care with the ROMs and 3G with your Omnia II, because your Omnia II is an i8000L not an i8000, you can flash .ebo, .mst and .csc files, but DO NOT change the .bin file, if you change it you will lose the 3G.
Okay, just realized that the 'latest' PDA/ROMs are in fact 6.5 and not 6.5.x which is my prefered version. I am quite disappointed now. Is JE5 the 'latest' 6.5.x version on Omnia, or am I missing something here?
Cant fint any JF3, only JF5 and JG5.
With one is the right "org" one?
