how to install 2.4 ollipro without activesync - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

In dcds post with the latest radio he mentions to install the new radio, the new rom, and then upgrade to 2.4 because the latest rom is not compatible with it but my phone keeps rebooting and i cant setup a activesync connection to update to ollipro 2.4 any help asap would be appreciated

Load your phone into screen say:
TITA100
SPL-1.20.Olipro
Hold power + camera + soft reset w/ stylus to make a Olipro screen appear.
Next, run unlocker, keep click a "NO" box about 5 times.
Run the rest of the software.

mine stays 1.20 olipro
i know im missing something, this is the first time ive caught a snag flashing my phone.

unlocker 2.4 is a dos prompt theres no place to put no

Reconnect your device to the desktop- that should stop the rebooting- it did for me. Once it stops, you can load 2.40

i understand what you mean now but after it installed the temp one, it took just a second to load ollipro 2.4 with 100%completeion but it still shows 1.2 on my screen after a reset and all as if it never installed. What gives

i load 2.4 and it still keeps 1.2 for some reason,

actually active sync did catch it before it rebooted (with the arrows at the top of the screen) and i was able to run titanunlocker.bat successfully

I had the same issue before. Just flash a new 1.2 compatible ROM to your phone then it should boot allowing you to reflash 2.4.

Phone reboots... please help

**EDIT**
Ok, I was able to load 2.4. I had my usb cable connected from my laptop to my xv6800. For some reason this prevented it from rebooting. Once I was on the today screen I ran the 2.4 update and ran smoothly. I was able to put dcd's 2.3.2 and 3.27 radio and everything is fine. I'll atempt it again after clean up the hair I just pulled out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm fairly new to this and maybe I should've waited a little bit longer before I tried dcd's 3.0 with the latest radio. Anyway here's my problem...
I can't get SPL 2.4 to load so the phone keeps rebooting. I've tried loading 2.4 through SD card and through RUU. Both times it says 100% successful but when I go into the bootloader screen on my phone it still says SPL-1.20.Olipro and phone keeps rebooting. I've tried putting vzw 2.09 rom on with an older radio and still can't get 2.4 to load or the phone to stop rebooting.
I'm on verizon.
thanks for any hlep you guys can give me.

Help!! Unusual Titan problem!!

I have spent the past week on this problem , including reading ppcgeeks & ppckitchen threads for hooouuuurrrs. And still no working phone!
What I have: ActiveSync 4.5 on an XP desktop. I successfully RUU WM6.1 onto my Alltel PPC6800, had the upgraded radio, internal GPS worked.
The problem:
From the Bootloader screen, without ActiveSync, I flash a ROM. After RUU says it was successful the Mogul resets. No LEDs light up and the screen stays off. I Hard Reset. The Green LED comes on and stays on.
I’ve removed the battery and Hard Rest and Soft Reset with the result being that just the Green LED stays on.
Whenever I use the RUU the current ROM version on the phone is not displayed. But the RUU lets me continue.
I can always get the Bootloader (tri-color) screen, which has:
TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9
After re-flashing the stock WM 6.1 ROM, the phone gets into a reset loop with nothing displayed on the screen and the Green LED blinking.
I’ve re-flashed 2 previous Kitchen ROMs that worked originally.. No change.
I’ve removed and then reinstalled ActiveSync. Rebooted XP. Still no connection.
I’ve removed and reinstalled PPCKitchen with successful updating. Rebooted XP. No change.
I’ve tried to flash from my fats formatted 2gb SD with renaming RUU_signed.ngh to “TITAIMG.nbh” and copying it. Got the Grey screen with progress bar. Then Hard Reset. No change.
I’ve tried every combination of Soft reset, Hard reset, battery removed combination with each ROM flash.
I’ve tried the Titan Exit Bootloader exe. This was successfully executed but did not solve the problem.
I’ve tried flashing the radio but I get a Bad Command error.
Update: In an attempt to diagnose the source of the problem by eliminating my cooked ROMs as the problem, using the SD method, I Flashed third parson's cooked Alltel ROM.
By all indicators the Flash was successful. I have Hard Rest (pushing the "R" then "space bar" when told to do so) several times. (Once I removed the battery for several minutes then Hard Reset.) But I still have the same problem of after Hard Reset the Green LED stays on and the screen appears to be off.
Since I am having the same results with my cooked ROMs I believe that my Bootloadeer and ROMs are OK. (Looking for confirmation here.)
Then is the problem with the radio? Or is it a hardware problem?
Any help is appreciated!!
Maybe try updating the radio? As far as I remember there were a few radio versions that did have internal GPS enabled but are still incompatible with the latest ROMs.
What radio version are you running now?

Sounds like you need to just flash a new radio to your phone.... I had the same problem at one time and that fixed it...
Problem solved??
Skippyd, Thanks for the suggestion!!
Interesting Update: I started to take more risks. (All flashing was done by SD method.)
I re-flashed radio 3.42.50. Although the flash was completed there was no change in results. I re-flashed both ROMs that had worked and ones that had no change. And still no change.
Then I decided to flash any ROMs made for Alltel (Titan) that I could find. (I wasn't really seeing if the ROMs had radios in them.)
I flashed nueROM_MTitan-201-201-spackr.rar which booted to the 2nd splash screen [AAAHHH!!! something different!!!] The following information also appeared on the screen:
Nuekernel 3.01
Build 109(c) 2008 No2chem
High Mem (camera disabled)
HTC
M09
B03
P=DCAAXAM 4350H
R=3.42.50
D=3.56
After resets and re-flashes of this ROM I could not get past the 2nd. Splash screen.
I next went to the link from: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=22132&highlight=boot+stop+splash (post # 3)
I flashed: Alltel_titan_20273_a2.rar . However, the result was the same as my original problem.
I skipped the .exe file that was in the list.
Then I flashed Nex_5054.8_Alltel_b3.rar and SUCCESS!!! It booted. (I did not install any of the CABs listed on the screen.) I can enter all of the menues. I don't know if GPS still works. The green LED flashes like it did when I could use the phone. (I can't use the phone now because I reactivated my old phone.)
I have not tried these other ROMs that are also listed:
Nex_5054_Alltel_b2.rar
Nex_5054_Alltel_spb'd.rar
Nex_Alltel_dcd_3.0.0.rar
Nex_Alltel_superBB_chick.rar
Before I do any more test-flashes, can anyone tell me:
#1) what additional information I should copy off my phone before I try these other ROMs?
#2) can anyone tell me the differences in the ROM that works and the ones that did not (so I know why Nex_5054.8_Alltel_b3.rar works)?
And #3) Does anyone have any suggestions before I proceed with testing other ROMs or try cooking my own again?
Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Can't flash x7501 - it always restart

Hi,
This is my problem, I have a X7501 running Windows Mobile 6.5 Cooked by MichyPrima. The current Rom I have is this; "Athena_SPL1.2_R1_CE_B21500_MiChY"
The problem with this version is that every time I do a soft reset, all or more of the programs that I installed get deleted and I have to reinstalled them again.
So, I decided to upgrade my pda to this version
"Athena_SPL3.5_R1_CE_B21500_MiChY"
In order to this I just simple need to flash the above file in my x7501 and here is when the problem starts,
I run the "RaphaelCustomRUU" that comes with the rom, I follow all the prompts and when the instalation start (0%) the pda auto-restart, the connection get lost and the installer simple stops.
I tried to install another version "28205_1_04RVGA" but happens exactly the same, I tried to update my Radio, and the same.
It looks like something is making my Pda to restart and doesn't allow the installation to continue. I also follow the steps from 1 to 10 of this file "AP4_How_To_1.8" to try to fix any problems with my device and nothing.
Battery is 100%
antivirus is off
PDA Sync perfectly
PDA works properly except when soft reset
Does any one has any idea why the auto restart is happening???
Thanks in advance
sovius
Hi I also have a similar problem:
I was running SPL3.5 & AP4 on an Athena X7500 previously but making a hash of the new/old roms to install, i flashed AP Touch by PK.
I am now unable to get into windows mobile's Today screen as the customisation process which runs config & AP Touch.tsk keeps resetting the device. Each attempt i flash (i tried multiple ROMs, ranging from AP Touch again, AP3newSPL, and AP4.0 again) results in an error asking me to check my USB connection to the device. I suspect its because i do not have enablerapi anymore inside the device. I am unable to install enablerapi into the device since it keeps resetting! deleting files from the startup folder to try stopping the customisation / reset process also didn't quite work, neither does it allow me to delete the AP Touch.tsk file inside the device.
Can anyone help??
Well, after a lot of research and luck I have finally resolved my problem.
and here is how I did it.
As you know my device every time I try to flash it from the computer, didn't response and simple cut the connection. I tried to flash it from the SD card and nothing, so.
1) look for the rom you want to flash, in my case was "Athena_SPL3.5_R1_CE_B21500_MiChY". Note; you can go from SPL 1.2 to 3.5 but for some reason I couldn't go from 3.5 to 1.2 or earliest.
2) I put my Athena in bootloader mode, by pressing camera + Comm Manager + reset
3) the colored screen appears saying on the white area (serial). why, I'm assuming my device was waiting for a serial connection or something
4) and here is the luck, I connect my USB cable to my device and the word serial changed to USB.
5) I activated the RaphaelCustomRUU.exe with the "Athena_SPL3.5_R1_CE_B21500_MiChY" rom inside and follow the prompts
6) the installation for the first time in more than 6 months finally start and satisfactorily was completed as well.
done
I'm checking if everything is okay, but so far, everything cool,
Hope this is helpful to those who face the same problem.
cheers
Sovius
Hi ,sorry noone saw your post but it would have been obvious what your problem was.
There is a way to downgrade to SPL 1.2 and it is in the stickies.
Just for reference if anyone finds this thread, you should have gone into bootloader to check your SPL and then made sure your ROM matched this.
The mismatch was the problem that caused the endless reboot.
regards lakeman
Thanks for your replay.
but I'd like to mention, that I was not trying to downgrade my SPL, in fact I was trying to Upgrade from 1.2 to 3.5. But that is not the issue.
My problem was that no matter what installer I used, after follow all prompts, the installation process freezed at 0%. Everytime I connected my PDA, everything looks alright until the installation process started and nothing always 0%.
So the solution was to put my PDA in bootload mode and only when the coloured screen appears, only at this point I connect my USB and double click the RaphaelCustomRUU.exe with the desired OS. My PDA instantly recognized the connection and did the installation.
Cheers

HD2 locks up when you glance at it wrong. HELP!

My T-mobile HD2 has been exhibiting some lockup issues. I was wondering if anyone had any insight besides taking it back to the store. Here is what it does in detail.
a. 1 out of 3 times it will not boot past the "Stick Together" loading screen.
b. If it does boot, it will lockup about 15 seconds after.
c. If it does not lockup 15 seconds after, it will lockup when accessing a random menu (last one it crashed on was enabling wifi).
The lockup does not cause the phone to reset.
This is what I have tried.
1. Factory reset using up + down volume keys - failed
2. Removed memory card.
3. Installed HSPL via bootloader
4. Installed the Elegancia Rom via bootloader.
Elagancia booted up (3rd try) and locked up while I was fiddling with the slider.
Not sure what else to try at this point. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there, did you do a task 29 before flashing your rom?
I'm not familiar with "task 29." Could you elaborate?
Check out this link.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=644781
Task 29 completed.
Loaded Elegancia.
Now it won't boot past the stick together screen at all.
Check out this video..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtTDuc4V4cU
This video will teach you how to perform a task 29 on your Leo without having to go through the arduous process of installing all the drivers for MTTY. Task 29 formats your phone for a cleaner flash
Hope it helps
if it was the same withthe stock rom before the flash, id take off HSPL and get a new one.

Not booting past that means that it's an incompatible radio for the rom,

[Q] Custom ROMs hard reset on soft reset, no problem with stock roms, SSPL problem?

I've flashed my phone to the stock ROM before flashing it to Artemis v42. However, the bootup time is extremely long and sometimes it hangs at the Windows setup screen (Preparing for first use). I've hard resetted after flashing Artemis and after a few resets it does startup (but still quite slow at the HTC screen with the radio version in the lower left corner). After I change the settings via Atemis Centre, such as No SMS Sent Confirmation and no "programs tab" in Manila 2 and reset, the phone would actually either hang at the HTC screen or hard reset by itself. I have Radio version 2.15 and flashed the stock ROM as recommended in the first post as well.
It seems that whenever there is some sort of registry modification, the HD2 would hang at the boot screen or hard reset by itself. If I don't do anything to the phone (change settings or even the wallpaper), then I can call and use the phone normally. I noticed that when I flash via SSPL, the SPL version shown is 1.42 but when I flash the stock rom, it shows SPL version 3.03. Is this normal? I even tried flashing V41 and the same things happen.
Strange behaviours include random hangs on the boot screen, disappearing files and programs that were flashed (such as wallpaper, they disappear or become inaccessible, and programs will have the "cannot be opened" problem).
Whenever I go back to the stock ROM, "RUU_Leo_S_HKCSL_WWE_3.14.831.3_Radio_15.42.50.11U _2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship" none of this would happen. Is there something I should try to prevent the problems? Or is my Asian HD2 not compatible with this custom ROM? Thanks!
Based on your information, the only logical explanations I can see is a wrong installation.
try it again.
I'm puzzled as to what could have gone wrong. I just download SSPL, rename the Artemis to the correct name, connect USB, flash. After flash finish, hard reset.
