I am looking for the latest Rom update For my Qtec 2020.
I Currently have 1.66 WWE
I need 1.72 WWE
Etended Rom 1.72.800 (i think)
And radio version 1.17 or later.
Can someone help me to upgrade my Hymalaya ?
Where Can I get these Files ?

The provider specific bits are in the ExtRom.
So in fact you can use any 1.72.00 upgrade file and delete the ms_.nbf file before proceding.
Afterwards you can fill your Extended Rom with the applications you want using the Extended Rom Unlock tools.
BTW: This is always a better solution because using a 'wrong' ExtRom could get you into CountryID trouble with the next upgrade.
There are numerous posts with 1.72.00 rom upgrades in it, but I :lol: would recomend my RUU172902WWE upgrade. It is documented what the files in the ExtRom all do, so its simple to skip the operator specific ones.

I have upgraded with http://www.qtek.nu/files/RUU172752WWE.zip and it works fine. However do not forget to first backup and then Hard reset the device before upgrading
I have a 1.72 version ROM running on my imate. Is it possible to upgrade it to O2 ROM. Would there be any complications and would i need to upgrade the Radio Stack as well. Would the phone be operator-locked after the upgrade.
Are there any dire consequences and finally which is the best rom version to work on the imate.

How do I get truefax2.08 cab to work on Imate2020, upgraded to W20003 SE, ROM 2.20.7 and ExtRom 1.72.800? I cant get it installed.

I'm currently using a french orange 3100. if i install this english rom will my OS change to english (i want it in englis but dont want wm6 just yet))

Build : 15673.3.3.1
ipl : 1.01
spl : 1.09
Interesting the radio is 1.38.00.0.1 - i.e. quite old. I wonder if this has been tweaked for Orange - it's the same as the one in the French rom. I might try installing this radio to see how it goes.

Cannt install this update from Black 2.5
Hi guys,
I am using Wm6 Black 2.5 (OLIPRO 2.10) on my M3100 and when I am trying to install this update (BTW, it is a WM6 ROM ? ) I get an error from the RUU application that it cannot connect to the device (ERR 260). I have installed the Vista drivers and I don't know what to do ( I have read the guides and read the forum). Thanks in advance for any advice!

My device is reporting 2.11.61.1 (23/3/07), Operator version 14.211.1.611.
If you tell me how to work out the Ext. Rom version number I'll have a look and report that too.
so what rom would i need to install first in order to be able to install this update??? i am running black 2.5 also but want to go back to the orange preloaded version.

I have the same error as well. Is it because I have used hermes unlocker v3a to my M3100?
all those with 26x error, not able to update... extract the NBH file from the rom, then use CustomRUU (see stickies) to flash it.

@PETE that is not the reason the upgrade is not running. He can just FLASH Olipro1.10 which is 1.04 based then flash this ROM. However the 260error is not coming from the device. It is coming from the PC. I do not have a VISTA machine so maybe someone else shed some light. He should also search the threads for that error because it has been mentioned numerous times before.

[Help] ROM upgrade error
I tried to install the new M3100 ROM downloaded from the Orange page, and at the step before the M3100's screen goes tricolor, it got resetted and disconnected from my PC. The next thing I know I got an error saying "Your phone is not connected to your PC blah blah". Am I missing something here?
P.S: I dont have a craddle, the phone is connected using USB cable.
Have you done any upgrades on the device at all?? (such as HardSPL or a new radio)
I need a radio ver for my i-mate jasjam herm 100.
my device is not recognising my sim giving an error that the connection(with a number in breckets) is not supported so try different network,
so i think i need to upgrade my radio ver.. currently i am using wm6 with
rom ver=3.54.707.3
rom date=07/05/07
radio ver=1.47.00.10
protocol ver=32.80.7020.20h
and yeah i flashed a new rom from wm5 to wm6(official) couple ov days back cause i wasnt able to send sms using eny sim card. but after flashing a new rom same problem for few days and then this error. so please help me with this.
