Unable to connect phone to computer

Please help me, I'm unable to connect my X10i to computer any more. It was fine last week but now whenever I plug in the USB, it only charge the phone and there was no mount/connect option poped up on the phone either. Anyone now the solution, I appreciate your help. Thanks
never seen that, hmmm try another port or flash again
it's just weird cause it is detecting it unless there's a way to set it as a diff option instead of mass storage
Well, I tried to flash it but the phone just couldnt connect to my computer or any other computer. Just kinda strange...

Optimus T USB issues

I have no idea what happened... I can no longer get my computer to recognize my girlfriends Optimus T to enter mass storage. I have reinstalled the drivers numerous times, but still noting happens. It will prompt me to enter into mass storage mode, but it won't go. It is not listed in "my computer". Any ideas?
Same here, i'm using 2 PC's one XP SP3 and on Win7. Phone is not recognized by the computer, though i installed the drivers correctly... Any suggestions?
What ROM are you guys using? I had similar problems a couple of days ago with USB not being picked up.My solution: reflashed with KDZ and rooted+customrecovery, then everything worked ok after that. I think some of the files get messed up after a while of tinkering with the phone thereby causing the USB detect problem.

Use bluetooth or wireless until you figure it out. Also you could put it on your external sd and transfer it.

Something like this happened to me. Try turning debugging off

USB Device not recognized

I just plugged my S3 into my PC to copy some files over, and all of a sudden i got this error from windows saying USB Device not recognized and this USB device has malfunctioned. I heard its a known problem on android phones, but never really found a solution for it. Can someone help?

try installing Kies?
Its ok i got it to work. Went into download mode and plugged into my PC and windows installed some drivers, Odin detected the phone just fine. Then i booted up into android like normal but switched to PTP mode, windows then installed the MTP drivers (though it was already installed) then after that all worked well again
Please help...
Im having the same problem. But nothing seems to work for me. Tried everything possible. Re-installed drivers, connected in download mode, installed Kies, reset to factory setting..ALL TO NO AVAIL. I keep getting 'USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned...' message...
The solution isnt always the same for all users.. Fortunately mine was fixed by a simple driver install. I remember browsing the internet and found out that there is a way to fix it but it requires simple adb commands and the Android SDK.

My s3 can only go to download mode, cant get recognized by odin

So if I just turn my phone on, it will be a white screen with no logo or anything.
Luckily I can go to download mode, however the PC doesnt recognize my phone at all (It says USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.), I tried many drivers before., still doesnt work. I know my phone is in serious trouble, can anybody help me? I am thinking this is maybe a symptom of sudden death or caused by emmc, but I am not so sure now since the download mode is still accessible.
THANKS A TON GUYS.

If it still isn't being recognized, forget the windows drivers. Boot into Linux and use Heimdall. I've rescued many Samsung devices this way.
You may need android-udev too.
