Uninstall everything you've installed.
Install HTC Streaming Media.
Go to m.youtube.com and pick your favorite video.
You're done.

Hi gcincotta:
Thanks for your reply...I installed HTC Streaming Media 2.10 Build 518.700 and when I pick any video from m.youtube with IE, my Mogul open the HTC Streaming Media...but I only get the following
Connecting...
not play any video or audio
Do I need to do a hard-reset for my Mogul?
p.s. when I pick any video or audio from windowsmedia.com, My Mogul open a massage with the following
"A file with this name already exist. Do you want to replace it?"
and I say "yes" and didn't open any application (Windows Media or HTC Streaming Media)
Thanks

Are you sure you've uninstalled everything related to media players and/or streaming media before installing HTC Streaming Media? Also, did you have a working data connection when trying to view the video? You shouldn't need to hard reset...
Also, open up Streaming Media and go into the options. Make sure it's connecting via The Internet and UDP port range is 1024-65535. Keep the media buffer at 7 seconds. Click done.

Hi gcincotta:
Are you sure you've uninstalled everything related to media players and/or streaming media before installing HTC Streaming Media?...Yes, I only had Windows Media for default...Coreplayer & TCPMP were uninstalled before to install HTC Streaming Media
did you have a working data connection when trying to view the video?...Yes...
with Wifi...when I pick any video from m.youtube with IE, my Mogul open the HTC Streaming Media...and it's working

What do you recommend me to re-link IE with Windows Media

I just want to say you that the solution was the following:
1. Hard-reset for my Mogul
2. IE and Windows Media is working together again
3. Install HTC Streaming Media 2.10 Build 518.70 and it's working with mobile youtube (Thanks for the tip)
Thanks for your support

The Audio Patch from O2 is great

I dunno if someone did mention it, I found an audio patch avabile on the O2 Source XDA2 New ROM down page
The fuction is :
Audio Patch : This cabinet file improves the handling of streaming audio using Windows Media Player or other Music Players, while using the Xda II GPRS modem.
Without this patch, listen mp3 is almost impossible while using gprs connection and downloading data, but after installing this patch really fix the problem
Here is the download link
http://www.sourceo2.com/O2_Developers/Devices/O2_Xda_II/XdaIIRom.htm
Is it also valid for Asia O2 ROM?
I installed it and ran internet explorer to view hotmail's email together with Windows Media 9 playing MP3.
The sound occasionally twisted a little bit but generally speaking it's working almost smoothly.

Media player that works with dcd's titan ROM 3.3.4?

Ever since I installed dcd's titan ROM 3.3.4 I've been having problems playing videos, even the ones taken by the phone, in the built in media player.
I tried downloading the CODEC cabs, what ends up happening is the media player starts for a sec then crashes.
I tried installing tcpmp media player, it crashes on install.
I tried installing Coreplayer, it plays a video with no video, just sound.
Anyone having success at all?
I don't have a problem with WMP + 3.3.4, but I also don't use it too often. Coreplayer works fine, go into Tools>preferences>video and change video output from QTv to Raw Frame Buffer (GDI and Direct Draw seem to work too). While you're at it, tools>preferences>advanced change the manual a/v offset to -400 (this will put the audio and video in sync). Enjoy!
Where can I get a good cap for coreplayer that works with this rom? Are you also sure that WMP works right off the bat with this rom? I tried it twice already reflashing and still the same, doesnt work.
Anyone? I dont understand why it doesnt work right off the bat..
The only videos I watch on my phone are what I've downloaded from YouTube in .flv format and they play fine using the fixed cab of TCPMP and the YouTube package.
I don't have time to look them up on here so here's a link to the cabs I have on my SD card. They might be out of date but it's what I have installed and seems to work, at least for YouTube videos.

Has the problem with WMP been solved? I have the same problem.

[Q] How to run two music app simultaneously (while they both playing voice/music)?

My previous device was a Htc Touch Pro running WM 6.5
I could easy start two media player (usually Windows Media and Core Player) and start to listen to a net radio in wmplayer and play some educational tapes on the corep layer (or vice versa). So I could listen to a net radio and listen to other songs at the same time without any problem.
Now on Android (I got an Htc Evo 3d) you can not run two player at the same time as the newly opened player will grab the sound focus from the other music players and they will pause...
Are there any hacks to run two instance of music players on Android without havind ti programm a new mp3 player from scratch?
Thank you!
