Hello,
I keep searcin on threads but I can't find my problem. I installed all versions of WM6.1 i found here (not Iphone) but none is good for my G4 Prophet. Can anyone tell me why after installation is complete and device reboots, it goes into bootloader screen? I also made a hard reset and nothing.

But you did HardSPL before, right? 'Cause this problem is reported here very often and always the solution is a not properly installed HardSPL...

Yes, I did HARDSPL before installing WM7 styled.
It's stucked in bootloader. I can install PV_temp and then upgrade to PV_4.0.0.5a. But for any other version of WM6.1 I keep getting bootloader screen
Any ideas why?

1. Did you try to force bootloader before upgrade?
2. bootloader, then plug to PC, then upgrade.. ^_^

What is the SPL displayed?
Ipl, Spl = 2.15.0001
You haven't successfully hardSPLed your device. When HardSPL is complete, your SPL should be 2.G4.4PDA

To upgrade to a different ROM after that, you will need to Hard SPL your device though.
For some reason the HardSPL from Prophet tools 2.7 did not worked.
I tried also update pack from:

This HardSPL worked. I have now WM6.1

Flashed WMXL 0.20 yesterday. All fine. I stupidly installed a WM2003 program that seems to have edited the graphics driver. Now the thing wont boot past the HTC splash screen. I've tried flashing, same rom, different t-mobile roms etc. No luck, always same error.
What gives?
Installing a program does not usually brick a device.
And if your graphics driver has been modified,I suggest you do a hard reset on your device.
If that is not helping,please provide your SPL and Radio version,also Cid status and so on ,see who can help you here.

Sounds like you're flashing & writing before reading. I'm guessing you went straight to the WM6 rom and didn't do any of the SIM or CID unlocking. Read the following threads and you should discover what you need and probably loads more too...

Thanks for your advice. I have managed to flash a hungarian T-Mobile ROM to my device and am now going to make is supercid so I can put WM6 back on. Thanks again.

Congrats and have fun flashing - it's addictive.
I'd suggest that you read and try Olipro's Hard-SPL before you go any further. This appears to be the answer to many of our prayers because you should be able to recover a bad radio flash. (I'm guessing that the 1.04 version will become most popular)

I've tried to look for guideline to downgrade to original SPL 1.04 but i cudn't find any.I installed the latest m3100 unlock software v3a doing so my SPL is now version 1.4 Olipro. For warranty purposes how do I downgrade back to 1.04? I'm sorry this problem might have been addressed somewhere on the forum..if so cud someone provide the link to the thread on this. thank you so much.

I have been there mrvanx guide. but he don't have the solution to this problem. Just to downgrade the rom to wm5 not the SPL.

OK guys the SPL downgrade can be done by downgrading to SPL 1.10.oli then flash any ROM with SPL 1.04 in it.
The only reason i can see that you wish to downgrade to 1.04 is because of a warranty issue. What is the problem with your devices??
You are great. I hope it will work for my Imate JasJam. Last night I was flashing my ROM with the original ROM but modified with NBH decomplie too by dutty. Before that I wrecked my device as I used the flashing of ROM using the latest sensation of loading the SSPL to RAM by des. That was my mistake that I used the original ROM. Then I removed the USB cable as it was taking too much time and because of danger to my imate I did that. Anyhow I got the NO GSM error but then I ran the Dutty's WM6v2 cooked ROM and it fixes all the things I am using it now.
The reason for my Imate JasJam degrade is my jog is not working according to its function. You know jumping from field to field. I didn't found any of that problem solution till the page of 30 in threads and posts. I am searching but if anybody knows the link. Kindly help me. So that I will save a trip to see the warranty people. (here we don't have ladies receptionists )

I have the same problem. My touchscreen is dud and Softbank is very anal about the bootloader and warranty. im stuck with Olipro 2.10 and tried flashing the latest softbank rom. When i try via USB/Windows it gives me error 260.
Flashing with MicroSD works, but after a few attempts, its still Olipro bootloader...any ideas?

Ofcourse...because flashing an original RUU it doesnt recognise the new bootloader (Hence your 260 error), and HArdSPL doesnt allow itself to be overwritten by a retail RUU. IF you read through the HArdSPL threads you would know this.

Hmmm, just yesterday (Thursday) I was asked by a VP at our company if that could be done. I was reluctant to say yes, but mrvanx comes thru with a fix.
The VP is in fact worried about having to return some devices to Vodafone, and he want to make them look "original" when they go back.

Just flash SPL 1.10.oli.......................then flash a vodaphone ROM, dont use 'force SSPL', just use autodetect.
well to get spl 1.04 all u have to do is take rom koch and the wm5 rom u are downgrading to. first downgrade os. then take that rom and using rom koch split it into parts and just take the spl and make it into a nbh and use the custom ruu on here. select force sspl and itll make ur spl 1.04. this is a quick guide and do this at own risk. using this method i got my first 8525 to aku 3.5 att and original spl. if marvanx comfirms i didnt make any mistakes i can make a new thread with pics and all so we cna add this to resources and stop the questions.

You dont need to use the rom koch ... duttys nbh tool is far more appropriate for this since we aint doing any cooking.

Hi mrvanx, some input to go into your guide (in case you havent come across this yet).
While flashing 1.10Oli under Vista, users may run into a problem where after loading SSPL and the phone goes into (SSPL) bootloader mode, the RUU program cannot detect the phone and returns an error.
This is due to the Vista drivers for HTC USB Sync. The driver needs to be manually "updated" just like in your Vista flashing guide. In this case, while the phone is in SSPL bootloader mode, go into device manager, replace the default HTC USB Sync driver with the USBAS one from your Vista flashing guide.
Then soft reset the phone, and try again. Worked for me.
For some reason, SSPL bootloader may appear as a different device to Windows than the hard/standard bootloader, so even if the Vista procedure has been performed before, it looks like it needs to be done also for SSPL.

If you have HardSPL it should work (there was an thread about that around somewhere, but I can't find it right now). Otherwise it will be a bit difficult, maybe somebody else can help?
I would try doing a "step 1" first to be safe by loading a NVID ROM
link 1 password is PDAVIET
Then load your vendor's Rom afterwards.

NO NO NO NO!!! DON'T!!
If you flash a Step1 first, you will overwrite the HardSPL and therefore you can't be sure that you get your original state back.
So, make sure your device has HardSPL installed (or use JumpSPL a single time) an then run the official WM5 RUU from your vendor.

How to make sure i have hardspl installed i never changed my phone . i only upgraded once to Crystal V2.

It is easy.. each time you reset your device.. on the left corner you will see some number..
if it is not hard spl . It should be like this 2.20.0001 =for PPC G4 or for
2.20.0000 =for PPC G3
If it is HARDSPL 2.G4.4PDA for PPC G4 or 2.G3.4PDA for PPC G3.
I think, you didn't hardspl your device.
Last time, I did HARDSPL in order to use others VENDOR ROM. ( xda bmw neo rom limited edition.) and it worked.
But, not sure for you. A bit difficult to see with broken displlay, isn't it?
Hi, I have been running Gollum's Prophet Touch VII on my M600 for ages now and fancied a change, I decided to dl varanusvincent's 'my diamind edition 2' and ran the g4 rom update that came with it, my m600 now is sat in the 3 colour bootloader screen with IPL 2.10.0001 and SPL 2.20.0001 and I cant get it to do anything, hard reset just puts it back to the bootloader screen, can ANYONE help me please or have I wrecked it by trying to install a new rom?

I've reset it again and it is now stuck on the 'qtek keep the world as one' screen with ipl and spl in the top left corners, the uodate programmes all say that is disconnected if i try and use them any ideas??

I have tried to use the hard spl folder upgrade and it still only gives me the 3 colours bootscreen after a hard reset, step 2 says use bootloader mode and flash pvtemp but I've looked everywhere for pvtemp and cant find it to dl

with SPL information that you said. It said, that your Device is not HARDSPL already.
You have to succesfully HARDSPL your Device first.
And after that you wont face anyproblem again.

So you have to Flash your ROM now with PDA Viet Temp first. This will bring your device to WM5 No Vendor.
You have to flash it through bootloader mode, since your device now stuck up.
After that , HARDSPL your Device.
Read better thread from animelover. Here
If your Device is a G3, SPL Information will be changed into 2.G3.4PDA or for a G4 is 2.G4.4PDA
And after your Device HARDSPL ready. Run the Upgrade tool from My ROM. So you wont stuck up again.
It should run.

Done!!! Hard SPL'd now says 2.g4.4pda on booting! I'll hang on for the new rom to be uploaded, if i want to change roms again to I have to run pda viet or now that I have run hardspl can I just install over the top? sorry for all the q's and thanks for all your help

If you have HARDSPL.
And Your SPL Information changed into 2G4.4PDA .
No need to install PDAViet again.
Just run the installer from the cooker.

- If you flash ROM 6.1 without Hardspl device will stuck at bootloader ( tricolor)
=> flashing Romship ( or Step1, PV_temp ...) and hardSPL againt pls

I followed your instructions which enabled me to get the pda, I returned to the original WM5, with:
IPL 2.13
SPL 2.20.000
GSM 02.47.21
OS 2.20.7.34
I rebuilt the steps to install HardSpl on pda, all went ok, but finished the procedure I find all equal:
IPL 2.13
SPL 2.20.000
GSM 02.47.21
OS 2.20.7.34
HardSpl therefore is not installed?
I tried all the files for HardSpl that I found on this forum always without success, the last that I have installed, and the procedure is finished ok, is this (ProphetSPLTool.zip x 3g) that I found here:

excuse if i ask silly questions, but its only to try and help. Wot exactly are the steps u did to hardspl? Did you interuprt the process or did ur device restart after hardspl? if you have followed the many good guides to get to hardpsl stage then u shuld not have problems? you have obv done aku2.2 b4 hardspl. i used Jesterz method and flashed his aku2.2 rom then hardspl, after 4 attempts it worked, try using different usb ports on ur pc/laptop, i had to try 3 out of 4 ports before it was sucessfull and remove all other usb cables from machine

Use Lazy tool. Download the full folder, remove any restriction on each program in the folder(unblock, read only etc). IF still doesnt work, open using command line. sure will work

I think that if you have already configured 2.G3.4PDA pda you can install the new rom favorite ...
what problem have you exactly?

The problem is, whatever ROM i tried, i will complete flashing 100% but it will stuck at Qtek screen forever...
If i flash back to shipped ROM, is end up ok, but no sound no camera.... why ? Somebody pls help....
