I've had this xda atom flame 02 for a while but i cant seem to figure out how to connect to the internet using Wi-Fi. I've checked the modem settings but i can only see how to connect via blutooth, gprs, cellular line etc.

hi! i was just wondering if anybody knew a way of getting messenger to connect over a lan, or internet explorer to connect over a lan? i have my xda setup to connect via gprs, but not as a standard connection. so whenever i try to use IE or messenger it doesnt recognise the connection. i can get the ezwap to work, because i could change the setting on it to connect over a lan, but i cant find anywhere to change the others.

Go into active-sync on your PC. (I assume you mean using you PC LAN). Then go into options -> Rules.
In Pass through, choose Connection: The Internet.
This should do what you want.
basically what it is is, im using a seperate dial up connection via gprs which IE and messenger dont recognise and dont think theres a connection. can i change the settings in the registry to get them to only connect via a lan, i.e. piggy backing over the connection i have.

How did you get yours working with ISP, I have made number of trials. No, luck et all. I can not internet/isp/gprs working. By the way I am on another network than I originally purchased. So neither of them giving any support.

sometimes you have to reconnect in to the cradle to get it working
hi anybody can help me? i'm trying to make my xda ii be a modem via bluetooth or usb, with bluetooth was connected to the computer (i'm trying using sony erricson t610) it connected to gprs but when i open the browser it stack just send the data no receive,when i'm using the xda , it just connected beetwen pc and xda not dial to the gprs connection. anybody having the idea ?
Hello, can you help me with following issue ? I have some kind of internet connection issue. Im still connect to 3G network. Internet is working great in Opera, IE, weather update.
But I cannot connect via my programs in start menu, for example Omarket, Marketplace, resco contact manager, even My Phone. I still get the message check your internet connection. Any idea ? Thank you very much.
Connection cannot be establish with 3G nor WIFI.
I don't have any data on my mobile plan so I turned off data connection by going to
settings/menu/all settings/connections/advanced/select networks
I changed it to My ISP (from my provider).
but now I can't connect to the internet via wifi (at home or wifi hotspots).
Can someone please help me? What can I do to connect to internet via wifi?

go into settings and remove the current wifi settings reboot then readd the correct wifi settings, pass word etc
I live in India. I had purchased a new TP LINK wifi + modem router last week. The modem works great as I access internet using my PC ( ethernet connection broadband) . I tried connecting WIFI using my android, but even when connected I don't get internet on my device.
Help me. Here are some screenshots of my modem settings page ( when my android galaxy mini is "connected to wifi, (no internet though))

In LAN settings photo modem shows my device android connected to modem, but still no internet.
