I need your help in downgrading the Rom of my HTC Advantage X7500 from AP4 to HTC WM5 or WM6 Shipped?
It is stucked on repeating hardreset after the AP3 downgrade.
Not possible for now.

I got the following error message:
"FOUND SPL V1.20 DOWNLOAD SPL BEFORE V3.03 IS NOT ALLOWD"

No, it doesnt. Error msg comes out and forces you to it.
SPL can not be easily downgrade by flashing ROM in a G4.

NOW it is possible to downgrade SPL. Just flash HardSPL, after that you can DOWNGRADE SPL to any SPL you want!!!

When you first flashed HardSPL, which verson of the SPL was shown after reboot? That, what you had before, or the new one, of the HardSPL? I am asking, because I managed to keep the original O2 2.15 SPL and I really dont want to channge it (for repair reasons
After flashing the patched HardSPL I see 2.G4.4PDA (I have a G4 XDA Neo)! But the good news are that you now can flash all SPL versions you want, like the original 2.15 when it's inside of your ROM image and you can see it after rebooting!
How to use Hard SPL if a can't pass bootloader?
I tryed hard SPL, but after upgrading it back to 2.20.001., and I can't pass even to "Windows mobile" screen and it is frozen this position.
Any suggestions?

I have had my 8525 unlocked for a while now, but after trying to upgrade to SPL 2.10 it still says 1.09.

do you recommand to upgrade my ipl. what is the gain of doing so?

If you install Hard SPL ver7 it will upgrade your ipl to 1.04. This will make your SPL 2.10 Olipro instead of 2.60 Olipro. You have the developers Hard SPL installed. It serves no real purpose for the lay person to install this and can create confusion as it throws up an error after flashing a new rom (nothing to worry about). I suppose its up to you if you think its worth downgrading to ver 7 or stick with ver 9. You'll have to live with error messages after flash with ver 9 though...

SPL-2.10.Olipro
Right now I have WM6 installed.
ROM version: 3.54.255.3
Radio version: 1.48.00.10
ExtROM version: 3.54.255.104
I want to downgrade for the selling purposes to:
HER_TMDE_1211113_1050200_GER_SHIP.exe (WM5)
Do I have to do anything else but just execute the exe and let it install? Could I brick it? (again)

i have upgraded several times WM6 and couple of times back to WM5 original, and WM5 cooked, i have not noticed any problem yet, but of course i did always the right thing, as ordered by upgrade....

Extact your Official Rom and make a new nbh file with all SPL,IPL,PrimarySplash,SecondarySplash,OS,ExtRom,Radio and use the new Hermes RUU flasher choosing "Force Unsafe SPL"
With this way you will also Downgrade the Olipro SPL and the device will be like it was when you bought it. Exactly like Original.
But remember that there is always 0-1% something goes wrong. I have done this procedure 3 times with no problems at all
It doesn't have to be like when I bought it. It is not a must that I downgrade the bootloader...
Just, is the Olipro 2.10 bootloader going to work with WM5?
For selling purposes, the guy only wants it to have WM5 for some older programs (compatibility issues with WM6). Can I just install WM5 over WM6?

Hello i have Orange SPV M3100 Running WM5, i would like to upgrade it to WM6. i have tried to HardSPL to 2.10 but it just keeps giving me an error, currently i have 1.40 olipro installed. is there a way to do the hard spl, cos i cant think of a thing, all i need to do is hard spl, ive upgraded the radio already so all i need now is the updated bootloader, then im ready to go.Please, can some1 help me out please
