I can think of 2 ways to do this.
The first way requires that you have already made your Hermes SuperCID. Essentially, you flash the 1.01MFG bootloader then use that to flash the 1.04 Bootloader. Once complete, you'll be able to upgrade your radio. See the 1.01MFG bootloader thread for files/howto. I believe its all in the Wiki too.
If you are not SuperCID, then you must find the bootleg 1.04 bootloader flash solution to upgrade your radio.

Check your PM
By all means, take the time to SuperCID your device using pof's solution once you're on BL1.04 sam2000
i try many time to flash the 1.04 Bootloader by flash the 1.01MFG bootloader
and evry time error
can you tell me mr Sleuth255 how can downgrade from 1.09 to 1.04 stps by steps
thanks for you
If you are not SuperCID then you cannot succeed until you obtain the bootleg 1.04 downgrade solution. We do not host that here as it contains proprietary IMEI_check code.
However, from you first post it appears that you may be SuperCID since you are running the SA 1.35 TyTN ROM on a JasJam device. If that is the case, you can simply flash the RUU radio upgrade RUU_Hermes_TMD-TMA_Radiopatch_1.27.00.00_107_GER.exe.
edit:
to your question: the key to flashing the 1.04BL from the 1.01MFG bootloader is the version of mtty you are using. If you are trying to follow the instructions using a version of mtty that has the default "MFC" icon, then it won't work. You must use the version of mtty included in the 1.01mfg bootloader download.
my device SuperCID
Best option is to upgrade radio using RUU_Hermes_TMD-TMA_Radiopatch_1.27.00.00_107_GER.exe then.

Dead Link!
The bootleg 1.04 bootloader solution is actively pursued by IMEI-check. It never surfaces for very long....
However, sam2000 doesn't need this since he is already SuperCID. The 1.01MFG bootloader solution can get him to 1.04BL.
Hi...
I've this problem where my friend's Dopod 838 Pro has its flashed crash at 14% and now its Bootloader is 1.09. Its giving the NO GSM error but I cannot seem to downgrade the bootloader because its CID is also corrupted. It doesn't even accept the generic Dopod ROM upgrade!
Anyone one help?
I've used this method several times and it worked for me:

How to downgrade SPL?

hi guys, I have no idea to downgrade SPL for TITAN, I can't downgrade SPL from 2.47No2Chem to 2.40 olipro by flashing via RUU tools or TF card. when I finish flashing, it says success, but in tri-color screen it shows
TITA100
SPL-2.47NoChem Titan SPL EVT
CPLD-9
that's to say that it is no change after flashing. can I downgrade SPL by mtty? and how to? is there any SPL version great than 2.47? thank you!

Device downgrade for warranty exchange help needed

Hi Guys,
I need to downgrade my phone for warranty purposes. Can any one of you give little further detail about what I need to get back to orginal rom/radio/spl and bootloader. Or in short to be able to send it back for warranty as for some reason my phone keeps dropping the GSM signal(tried flashing GSM-Radio and OS roms but no luck).
Following specs worked great for almost 6-8 months and now keep dropping signals
These were the specs from current ATT 8525 (HERM100)
AT&T 8525 (Hermes 100)
ROM: vp3G's WM6 v3.60 "Full" + Add-Ons
Radio: 1.54.07.00
IPL: 1.04 | SPL: 2.10.Olipro
I have already flashed OS and GSM ROM back to the latest ATT ROM from this link (http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=65&cat=2&dl_id=67). So current specs under device information are
AT&T 8525 (Hermes 100)
ROM: 3.62.502.3
Radio: 1.54.07.00 (This is not showing as currently there are no signals on phone)
IPL: 1.04 | SPL: 2.10.Olipro
Or do you think I should flash the device to the original ATT ROM (factory installed) from this link (http://www.htcamerica.net/support/8525/software-downloads.html).
Once this is done, I wish to rollback SPL and Bootloader back to factory settings. I am not sure the original version of the spl and bootloader. So if you think it's anyhow possible, can you guide me through the instructions?
I have 10 days before I return my current device with replacement unit.
Thanks in advance
AJ
Downgrading SPL and ROM
Hi here are the steps you will need to perform if you have Hard SPL v7 installed on your phone. (How do you know if you have Hard SPL or not? Just go into bootloader and if you see SPL 2.10 Olipro, you have Hard SPL.)
Next you will need to downgrade to Hard SPL 1.10 Olipro. You can find it here Hard-SPL. This is very important as this will allow you to downgrade your SPL.
Once this is done verify the SPL version in bootloader. It should be SPL 1.10 Olipro.
Now flash the manufacture specific ROM. This will take the device back to factory settings. It will also take care of the IPL and SPL versions.
Hope this will help you.

i can`t flash any rom
now in tricolour screen
what rom can i flash ???
pls help me...
If you've installed hardspl, flash to any ROM; if not, flash to your original carrier's ROM.
Sounds like kennychannel has simunlocked his Hermes after Hard SPL was installed. Thats why he has spl - 1.40. Do as kareem9nba says then either supercid your phone or reinstall Hard SPL....
