my current rom is 20060426B1WWE
i have deleted some files of the hidden partition, now i have to do a hard reset as the device is totally sluggish after installing/ removing some programs.
Which ROM can i upgrade to any suggestions any 1, PLS help i'd rather flash the rom than do a hard reset..

you have use jiggs ginius rom wm6 it is very wonderful and fast and their is no bugs

The "page pool" is essentially cache between the storage ram (where all the db/binaries are written to) and the program ram. certain things have to be loaded into the pagepool before executing in program/main ram. So in general, increasing the pagepool usually speeds up launching applications, however it reduces the actual program ram so you can't run as many things at the same time

i think u have to use jiggs rom 8mb page pool which is very fast then others in this their is no bug all program is working very good bluetooth also u thougt that jiggs is first person who make wm6 rom for atom and this rom is working like original rom with no hangs at all understand my dear friends
I would vote for Homer's rom (See my sig). i have been using it since 4 months now, it is fast and i haven't had a crash since the upgrade.
Also remember ATOM suffers from HIGH battery usage and Homer's Rom help's in saving battery life.

I am not sure if this is the latest and GREATEST verison ROM. I think the radio rom mighty not be latest? So ...
I have been reading and searching on the forum and found on the ftp TWO folders; Win2k5 and Himalay2005.
The ROM nk.nbf in the Win2k5 folder display 1.50f in ER2003Edit
The ROM nk.nbf in the Himalaya folder displays 1.50b in ER2003Edit
This B version was the one I loaded Friday .. work fine .. except the known problems.
I just re-loaded version F (assuming it is the latest) and found that it only display the following memory allocatin:
Storage: Total: 14.54MB In Use: 2.41MB Free: 12.14MB
Program: Total: 24.35MB In Use: 13.86MB Free: 10.66MB
Where as the OLD version give me the fill 128MB
What did I do wrong ... please can someone clearify the correct ROM for iMate 2020 XDA2,etc

how long ur battery last? talking duration?
my issue so far is my wifi. Whenever im trying to install some software wifi loss, cannot be on. I thought before SPB mobile did it but not, just when im trying to install..
lets just wait WM6, hope all issue will be solved. Jiggs is busy doing that.
issue i found in 3.3.3 beta
after soft reset my mobile hangs..gone signal ! have this icon..just need to hard reset ..thats it.. im planning to flashed Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822 i dunno which AKU is this but this is the official update of O2. hope no issue for me

except pdaviet.net and here, anyone know what another website that we can see the rom for xda atom.

I think that would be interesting to place a poll to perceive which is the best ROM for users, whitch ROM they prefer.

btw, i'm using PDAVIET_ROM_WM61_OS20954_ATOM_Sonblack for a few days (since January 1st)..
Its very stable and have nice feature.. Just minor problem with very fast drained battery..

can.. press camera and reset hole for debug mode and connect to the PC then dun dsuu utility

I took the liberty of taking a tool a lot of us use, and making it both legible, and easy to use. I got a copy of the pagepool editor from the forums here, and changed all the captions and buttons to English, as well as compiling a list of as many ROM's as I could find for it to work on. See Below:

The editor only works on the 0x data of the ROMs listed in the .cfg file in the zip. If it's not on the list above, you can't edit it. As I find the 0x data on more ROM's I will add them to the .cfg file, and post the updated version.

I think there maybe an error though. Shouldn't "Dell X51v WM6.5 L14 (LennySh)" have 0x data of 0x002A69EE
Your tool showed 0MB PP default for above ROM, which is incorrect.
LennySh has set a 5MB PP. Therefore if you change to 0x002A69EE it will show 5MB.
I will add some more 0x data's for other ROMs soon.

Error found.
Here is an error I have found.
1. I open Dynamite A02 ROM into PagePool Editor.
2. I change pagepool to 2MB
3. Select generate CRC
4. Run the pagepool changes.
Now if I re-open the changed ROM file or even exit and reload the PagePool Editor before re-opening the changed ROM file I get an error.
I try to select the Dynamite A02 ROM from selection box and I get a error window come up but I can't understand because in foreign language to me.
This happens even if I modified the pagepool to 2MB manually in hex editor instead too.
So, I think problem is with your PagePool Editor reading 2MB pagepool ROMs.
It saves the 'changing to 2MB' pagepool fine, you just can't re-open the file to change it any further after.

You may be right about that... I have never even attempted to run my device with a 2MB pagepool, but thanks for pointing that out. Don't know if any other user reported similar problems, though. If anyone has, please let me know.
