AP4 Battery - Advantage X7500, MDA Ameo ROM Development

Thanks for the AP4 rom. I am loving it. However the battery on my X7501 will not chage to 100%. It is a new battery and the proble started after the rom update. The highest it will cahge is 96%. I have done a master reset and allowed the battery to run all the way down to 8%, then recharged it. The result is still 96% after 12 hours of charging. Anyone else having this problem?

Have you read ANY of the AP4 threads? I believe it has been discussed hundreds of times, well maybe not hundreds....

Yes I have searched through the many theads here for solutions but did not find any. If you can point me in the direction where the solution exist, it would be appreciated.

There is no solution as discussed so many times.Htc battery driver rounded battery level to the nearest tenth as ap4 battery driver shows it by ones not tens.
Word of advice bro, If you dont wanna get flamed by others search and read on any relevant posts before you make a new thread/post.

If you look at the AP4 threads, you will find there really isn't a solution and it really isn't a problem. Previous Rom raised the levels by 10% so as soon as you reach 93 to 96 % of full charge the device would show 100%.
So previous rom only showed 10% 20%, 30%, etc and would round up or down by 10% increments....

Thanks for the advice and the answers. Very much appreciated.

Yes, this phone has horrific battery drain. I recommend you take it out to the nearest field, strap it to a rocket, and shoot it into the stars as soon as possible.
Or, you can consider using the search button or follow the MANY links the nice gentleman posted above for you.

Lol maybe the battery will drain less in an area with very little gravity.
On a more serious note does anyone know of a list with apps that are safe
To freeze or even remove? I've been looking through the above posts for about an hour and can't find
Squat.
Edit : holy crap I need to open my eyes, its stickied at the top of the general section.

Yea I saw. See my edit. Feel silly now lol.
Just do a factory reset fixed all my problems and my phone came with KE7 installed I didn't upgrade to it.
Battery life went from 10 hours to a day and a half
after lot of tests, i discover that was the calendar sync. In idle mode my phone drain 5-7% per hours without 1% per hour.
After I uninstalled all the useless battery draining system apps, my system doesn't use alot.. like 2-5% , but my screen is getting 50-60% everytime!
I allready tryd different settings, but still, it attacks.
Do someone here have a friend with a SGS2 with good battery life !?
Try to change the battery for 1-2 days and see if its better or not, so we can know if its the battery thats need to be changed!!! report pls !

I doubt EVERYBODY that posts in these forums have a faulty battery. It MUST be software related. So many "faulty batteries" would be a great cause for concern.
from my understanding its 50% user and 50% the version of gingerbread were running.
Im coming from an atrix which has great battery life. A little bit of optimization which the great devs are doing is definitely helping.

[Q] Normal Android OS battery usage?

I've had the SGS2 since it launched on the AT&T network. I've never noticed the battery life to be really horrible but over the last three days it's been draining rather quick. I'm still on 2.3.4 with Baseband version KH7 having rolled back from the update with Odin one-click a week after update due to horrible wifi problems.
I check my battery usage this morning and noticed that the Android OS was u sing 22% of battery. Is this a normal percentage or is it high? I haven't downloaded anything new but did shutdown my phone twice this morning seeing if it would maybe fix the battery problem.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Please search for the answer. This has been asked 100 times (this is 101) and there are multiple threads on this same topic.
okay I did and nothing really answers my question. I get things that talk about 50% and above but there's nothing about lower than that. Mine used to be at 12% and lower. I don't know what would cause it to just jump up for no reason. No reason to just tell someone to search not knowing if they did or not. Thank you.
AJ
Well you obviously searched and just answered your own question. But you post gives us almost 0 details. Have you downloaded any new apps? Do you use your phone a lot, this would affect how high it will be. All this has been answered multiple times before

First step is to install BBS and CPU Spy to figure out what is draining your battery.
Ignore percentages unless you see noticeable changes in drain. If something else's percentage goes down, AOS will go up even if it's draining the exact same amount per hour.

Ok thank you. I just wanted to make sure that something wasn't wrong with my phone. I would hate to have to get a different one because I've grown attatched to this one LOL. I did download the 2.3.6 update when it came out but quickly used the Odin oneclick and went back to 2.3.4. Could this have messed it up somehow?
Thank you again,
Aaron

Who cares? It`s well-known fact, that after flashing new ROM you need to recalibrate your battery.
lol.. what a solution
even pre-historians knew that
OK Gang, give the guy a break!!
He's found something that some people may find useful, i know that for must of us veteran flashers and testers, it's a no-brainer and we use the clear stats through recovery, but this app has an alarm etc I believe. It might save on more questions being posted on the threads so more important issues can be concentrated on!!
Stodgy, don;t stop posting interesting things you find, even if they are not of use to everybody, they might be to someone!!!
I agree with adoneil!! thankss stodgey!! I have flashed several roms, but I only did something with the battery once... afeter installing minicm 2.1.5 i wiped battery status... However I find this battery calibrator easier to use and a good tool to have near... No matter how long we visit this page, everyday we can learn something new!!
The guy is a new comer, he has posted something useful. Then why the debate?
In my opinion, the calibration matter doesn't make that much improvement.
it is useful but he doesn't need to post every app he finds
I use to use this method with that app.. but know I am making it manually by following this http://theultralinx.com/2011/07/calibrate-androids-battery.html

Rooted Note 4 - Zerolemon Battery Fix?

Hello everyone, I have read pages, upon pages, of people "trying" to find a solution about the 10,000mah zerolemon battery situation. Where the note 4 only recognizes the 1 cell 3250mah battery in it, and no matter what you do, the 10,000mah battery is always incorrect. I have read about rooted phones being able to change system files from the 3250 to the 10000 battery description. I have read that certain roms/kernals have fixed this issue. I have read many other things that some say worked and some say didn't.
I'm here because I have spent hours reading numerous threads and need help trying to find a solution. I just got my zerolemon for my rooted Verizon Note 4 today, and want to go ahead and do a battery fix to show accurate readings. Does anyone have a solution for me? Also, I have never used a custom rom or kernel before. Please help if you can. I appreciate it in advance.

You might want to look through this thread a bit (there's a kernel mentioned on post #1037 which might be of interest, take a look).
