Are you using Camera version 4 or Camera version 5? Camera version 5 is from the Vogue and has NO flash.

It's likely using the new Touch/Vogue camera that doesn't support the LED on the Titan.
Even if you use an app such as Nilisco Flashlight the light is turned off whenever the Touch camera takes a picture...
I think the only resolution is to use another kitchen build that uses a version of a Titan camera release.

the native camera APP often display lots of vertical lines ，
but the photos taken with it is normal 。
when i use any other camera app is ok ，but sometimes it will cause the phone to crash。
i found winsuk‘s thread not mentioned this problem ，so i do it 。
i hope it be fixed in the next version 。

He is saying that his aosp camera displays vertical lines on preview,but the pictures come out fine. And doesn't have the problem with other camera apps.
Upgrade to the latest build with a clean install and see if that helps

That's exactly what I quoted from the ROM thread. A clean install won't help
I had the same issue. Post 128 from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1826894&page=13 fixes this issue for the most part.
Camera artifacts I can fix by this manipulations:
1. Go to lockscreen settings
2. Lockscreen shortcuts
3. Edit camera shortcut to: actions-gallery-com.android.CameraLauncher

I don't see how it wouldn't be. It takes less than a minute to do, and while the camera still occasionally exhibits some glitches, it's much better than before.
I'm using AOSP Extended and I'm looking for a working gcam mod. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks but I used Arnova's v8.2 and it works great, I'd say it's even smoother than the one you sent me.

Yes you do have to enable camera 2 API and you can do that by flashing twrp and flashing magisk then installing camera 2 API enabler.

i am currently using your ROM and the pre-installed GCam is so baddddddd
i am getting a green tint on every photo i take from the rear camera.....even on whatsapp (same issue)
AND THE WORST PART: the front camera is SUPER BAD!
Please fix it ....or tell me how to debug it myself...
i think changing the in-app settings may solve it!

That's an old build and it wasn't even made specifically for Vince
Uninstall that one and install this, this is the Vince port, it doesn't have the night sight features but it's stable

Front cam is greenish.

Can anyone provide me the perfect, working, bugfree gcam for remdi 5 plus that can be used in all Pie roms?
I don't really care about night mode or HDR, HDR+ just both Front and Back camera need to be working smoothly.
And the flash is working.. all the google cam I used , none of them had flash working with HDR mode off. By flash not working, I meant flash doesn't sync with capture point at the same time so capture image remains black.

Everything is working for me, btw i am using vimb kernel. Maybe problem is with stock kernel of havoc.
