The OP's picture is actually just bad lightingmaking look black. The post above mine is actually the case for a HTC P4351, A.K.A the Atlas, which is what the Wing is. The Wing is just Tmobile's version. (Not sure why they thought making it blue would be a good idea.)
I actually prefer the blue. Anyone know where I can get a new shell? After a year, mine's a bit beat up.

Hey man.. The only way you'll get things done for yourself here is in the top right corner you will see search.. hit search and type what your looking for.. Make sure you use key words thou.. Sometimes its not as good.. Its the beta vers. of google special look up or whatever.. I just use google now.. I type xda developer first then what I am looking for.. The best way.. A lot of ppl have already fixed things that you'll end up asking.. Thats how I know what I do now.. Need ne help thou pm me.. fo_sho

i ordered a housing from these guys. they're shipping from hong kong and it takes FOREVER! but if you hated that ugly blue housing like i did you'll be happy.
took me a while to replace everything... then i realized... i could've just replaced the face and battery cover and it would've been simpler and saved me hours.
kristopherson, exactly how long did it take for the housing to come? I'm leaning very heavily to get the black housing from these guys.

I'm very impressed with Stan over at E-gadget Depot. He already sent me the UPS tracking number to ship on Monday with Next Day Air. I got my Advantage/x7500. Came in on Tuesday like Stan promised. They are great at EGadgetDepot.com.
I already have TomTom working on it with a bunch of other software. Only warning I can tell you is DO NOT install the GPRS Monitor that comes on the utility CD. It kept locking up my device.
I'm looking for some desktop enhancements but can't find the post. Anyone can direct me to it?
Also, someone wanted some graphics off of this thing. If you tell me which one you want and how to get it I'll gladly post it up for you.
One more thing...Since I'm in the US and use TMobile, I had to change the band on the phone for it to work. In case anyone runs into this. I initially thought it was my SIM but it was just the band setting.

I don't see any problems with the build quality. I keep wanting to wash my hands because the black glossy keeps picking up my finger prints.

when you say desktop enhancement, what do you mean? please explain a bit more what you want so the rest of us and help you out. btw, welcome to the Athena Family.
As for the black glossy finish, it's one of the thing which makes me think the silver one is better, it just way too easy to get your finger prints on, but at least for silver one, it not visible. Well i guess that is the price you have to pay if you want the sexy black look, just like lots of mobile out here, easy to get finger print one, but people still love it. Just Advantage is quite big, so more easy to get finger prints on and easier for people to see it as well.

I saw a post a while back that had software which allowed you to change the look of the desktop. The "Start" menu looked more like the WinXP Start menu and it allowed you to make the Today screen look MUCH MUCH better. I'm still searching because it was within one of the forums on this site. Annoying when I can't find what I'm looking for.

There are lots of software out there which makes your Today screen looks nice, for changing the start bar: use Wisbar Advance, for today screen, use iLauncher or SPB Pocket Plus, and Pocket Breeze.

Poundland uk now have a great adjustable stand.
Rubber/plastic coated so as not to scrape the table tops and give a bit of stability.
Tried one - great, got another for the vega.
Maybe not the prettiest thing in the world, but does the job very well.
EXCELLENT FOR A POUND.
Just might get a couple more before they are gone.

Ugh, hate stylii, not sure about a keyboard I actually like the touch screen ones.
£1 screen protector would be nice though, the ones I've seen are bloody costly for what they are. (£26?)
I also have a neoprene case that I got from poundland too. Okay so its lime green but its the right size.

I would be the opposite, £1 keyboard would be good, but wouldn't have a screen protector in the house. And they do sell protectors for the ipad (eghhh) stick one of them on.
Also try poundworld if there is one of them close, basically the same shop.

It's more once you've forked out for an Ipad, poundland is the only place you can afford to shop in
Does the stand allow for portrait viewing? I use my AV soley for reading digital comics, especially during my breaks at work. Currently (and don't laugh because it works) I use a couple of bananas stacked to support the tablet, which gives an ideal viewing angle, without glare from overhead lights, or seeing your ugly mug in the reflection!

I will try to write something up soon. Overall i am pretty dang happy with it though. Besides one scare that i am still not sure what happened with and it hanging on Google earth if i stay in there too long so far it all good. But i will try to do a more in depth write up later.

Interesting, there have been numerous reports from people who called into customer service and were told that TigerDirect never received the grey/purple ones and only shipped out the champagne.

When i said purple i went champagne thinking the full name was champagne purple... but i seemed to have been confused or it changed. Either way i got the champagne one not the grey version sorry for the confusion.
Either way the names are confusing since champagne looks grey while the grey looks purple x-x

I like the purple hue to mine... Purple is my favorite color! but it's not barney purple. Hell I keep mine in a leather case all the time anyways. I used the leather case (rooCase) from my TF its a little loose but it will work till my new TP roocase comes!
I'm curious as to what the champagne looks like in person.
I was in one shop and the back of the phone and top front edge looked dark grey but then I went into another shop and it looked definitely black. Is there only one colour (Carbon Grey) or does it come in black also? I prefer the black and am in UK.

Carbon Grey (AT&T).. That I'm aware of they should all be the same color regardless if branded or otherwise... But I could be wrong
I googled it, and somehow have the feeling that it's carbon-gray phone only. The phone is black, but the sleeve is carbon-gray.
Mine is carbon-gray too. You don't realise it until you look at the edges around the screen though.
I read somewhere in early Titan days, someone in US went for an accessory replacement and the back sleeve he got was black instead of carbon-gray from HTC. Any pics on the net showing the difference? I feel colour blind!
I swear the unit on display in Carbone Warehouse in Selfridges London, is all black - front and back. I know this because I never liked the grey colour so the black colour there immediately hit me.
If anyone knows of any links to a black cover please let me know.

OK I just received my Titan from Expansys this morning. So far I am loving the phone!
FYI, the model is a Euro model with spanish packaging and leaflets. However, the back case does indeed appear to be black rather than the lighter carbon grey version. I AM SO HAPPY about this
Now to leave it to charge for several hours.
I believe the carbon grey backing is specifically at&t's version of the Titan( they released it late in the u.s. and wanted it to be slightly different. I have that specific Titan but have purchased a spare Euro(black) cover on eBay because you are definitely right, it looks much better!

I saw loads of these once for Xperia z. I did order one for my Z2 once but it never delivered because I was informed they dont make them anymore. If you Google image rasta banana Xperia you will see loads of them appear. Try checking aliexpress though. You will most likely find what your looking for there. :good:

Let me know if you decide to purchase any. Would like to see more images. They are very majestic I dont understand why they havent been produced in more countries, they would sell fast if more people knew about them im sure of it!
I just find out about these after sticking another back on my phone. Oh well, it's good to know they're there if I ever break mine.

I ordered the checkered skin for the back. Will take some pictures when I have it on my phone but probably won't get it till after the holidays
This skin feels really high quality. Kinda messed up on the installation tho. Had to reapply it cause it wasn't align right so you'll see some dust underneath thru the pictures. The only negative is that it doesn't go all the way to the side of the phone since it curves (which they explain). Quite a big gap. That will probably throw a lot of you off but it looks and feel really nice in person

Thanks so much for the share!... that was it!... but the shipping is so expensive.. its more than 6 times the price of the skin itself LOL... so it's not worth consider buying it!
