I was in one shop and the back of the phone and top front edge looked dark grey but then I went into another shop and it looked definitely black. Is there only one colour (Carbon Grey) or does it come in black also? I prefer the black and am in UK.

Carbon Grey (AT&T).. That I'm aware of they should all be the same color regardless if branded or otherwise... But I could be wrong
I googled it, and somehow have the feeling that it's carbon-gray phone only. The phone is black, but the sleeve is carbon-gray.
Mine is carbon-gray too. You don't realise it until you look at the edges around the screen though.
I read somewhere in early Titan days, someone in US went for an accessory replacement and the back sleeve he got was black instead of carbon-gray from HTC. Any pics on the net showing the difference? I feel colour blind!
I swear the unit on display in Carbone Warehouse in Selfridges London, is all black - front and back. I know this because I never liked the grey colour so the black colour there immediately hit me.
If anyone knows of any links to a black cover please let me know.

OK I just received my Titan from Expansys this morning. So far I am loving the phone!
FYI, the model is a Euro model with spanish packaging and leaflets. However, the back case does indeed appear to be black rather than the lighter carbon grey version. I AM SO HAPPY about this
Now to leave it to charge for several hours.
I believe the carbon grey backing is specifically at&t's version of the Titan( they released it late in the u.s. and wanted it to be slightly different. I have that specific Titan but have purchased a spare Euro(black) cover on eBay because you are definitely right, it looks much better!

The OP's picture is actually just bad lightingmaking look black. The post above mine is actually the case for a HTC P4351, A.K.A the Atlas, which is what the Wing is. The Wing is just Tmobile's version. (Not sure why they thought making it blue would be a good idea.)
I actually prefer the blue. Anyone know where I can get a new shell? After a year, mine's a bit beat up.

Hey man.. The only way you'll get things done for yourself here is in the top right corner you will see search.. hit search and type what your looking for.. Make sure you use key words thou.. Sometimes its not as good.. Its the beta vers. of google special look up or whatever.. I just use google now.. I type xda developer first then what I am looking for.. The best way.. A lot of ppl have already fixed things that you'll end up asking.. Thats how I know what I do now.. Need ne help thou pm me.. fo_sho

i ordered a housing from these guys. they're shipping from hong kong and it takes FOREVER! but if you hated that ugly blue housing like i did you'll be happy.
took me a while to replace everything... then i realized... i could've just replaced the face and battery cover and it would've been simpler and saved me hours.
kristopherson, exactly how long did it take for the housing to come? I'm leaning very heavily to get the black housing from these guys.

Poundland uk now have a great adjustable stand.
Rubber/plastic coated so as not to scrape the table tops and give a bit of stability.
Tried one - great, got another for the vega.
Maybe not the prettiest thing in the world, but does the job very well.
EXCELLENT FOR A POUND.
Just might get a couple more before they are gone.

Just tried poundland in Watford. Nothing there.

Yeah, down where u get the cables/phone/cd/dvd stuff etc.
But dont give up keep checking they will get them in, still using them and they are 100%
As said they are new, it even says 'NEW' on the cover it comes in, but they will be everywhere soon i am sure.

Ugh, hate stylii, not sure about a keyboard I actually like the touch screen ones.
£1 screen protector would be nice though, the ones I've seen are bloody costly for what they are. (£26?)
I also have a neoprene case that I got from poundland too. Okay so its lime green but its the right size.

I would be the opposite, £1 keyboard would be good, but wouldn't have a screen protector in the house. And they do sell protectors for the ipad (eghhh) stick one of them on.
Also try poundworld if there is one of them close, basically the same shop.

It's more once you've forked out for an Ipad, poundland is the only place you can afford to shop in
Does the stand allow for portrait viewing? I use my AV soley for reading digital comics, especially during my breaks at work. Currently (and don't laugh because it works) I use a couple of bananas stacked to support the tablet, which gives an ideal viewing angle, without glare from overhead lights, or seeing your ugly mug in the reflection!

Yah, the number of Titan related questions and the increasing amount of owners warrants its own forum already.

Does the job but there is a small problem with charging the phone
The case is so thick that the mini USB plug is too short, which means every time you want to charge your phone you have to take it out of the case or take the phone out of its original case (like the way getting access to battery/sim)... and loose the signal.

Weird ... because I got not at all this problem ; all is ok with plug-in micro-USB slot , I never take the Titan off the case since I installed it

In general, I bought Vaja or Piel Frama (a lot more expensive !), and even if this one is not of the same quality (it's not leather) it does perfectly the job. Don't know if I'll change for one of those when they made a case for Titan ...

Inquired PowerSkin. It is not in the make of yet, but are considering it. One is already available for the HTC Sensation, but won't fit the Titan.
I found these by PDAir ... they also sold product on amazon. It seems really nice but I can't find any review. People on the net seems to complain a lot about their shipping which can take up to 20 days. Sorry I am not allow to post link yet. But do a search on Amazon or google PDAir and they have several products.

I also got ahold of one of these plum colored beauties and I must say the colour is very very nice; having said that I'm starting to question whether or not it's worth all the trouble...
Let me explain, the first plum 3vo I got from Sprint ran perfectly fine but had a tilted screen and dust started gathering underneath it after a week; the first Sprint tech I went to about this was friendly enough and quickly set up a replacement unit for me. I waited a week, they called me in and took my handset for the replacemnt... Then it turns out the replacement unit was a black device. It also did not come with the battery cover so at that point I was the proud owner of a two tone device... I politely asked them if they can get me a matching front and they agreed and say they'll call me back when said device comes in. Two weeks later and I hadn't heard from them so I went to my closer Sprint location and they let me know nothing was put in for that replacement but would be happy to assist me in getting the correctly coloured phone. Week and a half went by and I'd received no call from THAT shop so I call them to ask for info on the status of the order. They shrugged it off and said it could be another week and that they would call ME. So I waited another week.
Yesterday I called back and spoke with a different agent who seemed a bit more patient and actually checked on the status of the order. Nothing had been put in for my account AGAIN... he apologized and put in for a rush delivery on the handset. Today I went into the store and inquired about my ordered replacement; "hasn't come in, we'll call you call you tomorrow for sure the order is in, etc."
I received a call two hours afterwards, even though the agent I spoke to earlier assured me they had received all of their orders for today, saying my replacement is in.
"Great, I'll pick it up tomorrow... Can you check on the colour for me?"
"Black."
"Ugh."
Tomorrow should be a fun trip to say the least.
Edit: Went to sprint store tonight and got a fully black/red model; they said they would "let me know" when the plum was available for replacement. I'm going to the corporate office tomorrow or call them up and see what else can be done... sigh...
Funny little tid-bit; apparently, (I'm taking these peeps' words with a grain of salt) after the 4th replacement phone you are eligible to swap out for another type of device... hmmm.... we shall see :3

Do not trust the seller to know what they are selling! I have seen so unbelievably many Colors advertized as Tablets! You need to see an actual picture of the object they are selling. If they show a picture of the model no that is great, but not very common.
Look at the pictures they do post and try to see if the glass is in one piece, covering the black strip with the "n" at the bottom. That is the Tablet.
The glass on the color is split. One piece just covering the actual screen.
I'll go check eBay for examples and come back with links if I find any!

If you want to buy yourself from eBay there is a seller called "Project Contact" (some sort of charity) that have new (refurbished) Tablets and they do ship to Sweden. I'm sure you can find others as well. And keep your fingers crossed Sedish Customs doesn't get thier greedy finger on you package, SOmetimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...
