does an absolute clean WM6 or WM6.1 ROM for the Atom exists?
I've testet a few ROMs but (respect to your work!!) they had selfmade Icons and added software. Thats looks good, but I would prefer an original MS WM6.

Yes, this one. I have released it the day before yesterday. You can not use HP's rom, but this one is dedicated to atom.

Hi Guys
When will we see the wm5 rom up again. I have requested from few guys here for the wm2k5_106a. Rob Pennington denied me and even doubted me afraid that I'm someone tracking him.
I looked around ftp search engines and torrents to no vail. P2P too slow and two days I've got only 50kb.One guy care to send me but it was corrupted. I itched to test the latest wm5.
Anybody can do the favour of sending it to me personally? Very much appreciated.
all 2k5 versions and other software written by me, themes by xda2jojo, registry and bootloaders stuff by toenailed will be very soon (monday ?) available on http://buzzdev.net
site is still in alpha phase, so don't expect miracles yet...

Finally... a good news after a couple of weeks mourning :!:
In fact I'm back to WM2K3 SE since the 'best thing' in the forum got shutdown.
I miss the Friday upgrade announcements, the download from the FTP & the weekend resets on my device. Hope the FUN begins again & soon.
Keep up the good work Buzz, Toe & Jojo & let us know how we can be of any help if needed! :wink:

actually if you ask, do you like, everybody will say yes, it will be the first time to have touch on their atom, including me,.

if it works well, then we may have TOUCH on another next release of jiggs ROM, we just need to use the evaluation version first, to fix bugs and to have a perfect wm6 ROM on next release,.

1.You need tp map all icon
2.it is not easy to operate cause atom just only got soft touch panel
3.does this app consume much more battery and memory???

I prefered a true ROM for it so not installing it..
Plus remapping all icon can be a troublesome for lazy ppl like me isnt it?

Lagged like heck tho, and eats more memory than HTC Home because of its flash nature.

Yep we badly need a continuous flow of good WM6 ROMs like JIGGS the great and yes I voted.
atom has enough power to handle wm6........so i voted yes.....
alot of other pda's with same processors as Atom are out there in the market with WM6 in it, why not with Atom...So i voted YES.

Well u go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=388 as told by 'imatrix' and read all the posts in different ROM forums available for Atom. Also read the WIKI for Atom. Then decide which ROM is of ur taste. As for as 'TUTE' is concerned u be one yourself once u read all the posts. And even then if u have problems everyone here at XDA is a 'TUTE' in itself. Enjoy

as explained by tjkhattak61, it is very well said and I think there is no need for another explanation. determining which is the best and bug free depends on the user. furthermore, the WIKI is very helpful so i would suggest you read thoroughly. If you have some problems that the wiki can't answer we are here to help.
As of the moment regarding your concerns, the wiki is very much enough. We don't encourage spoon feeding in here. everything you need to know is written in the wiki for you to discover and learn.

Now that is what I call smart answer! just take your time, read through everything. You will be very familiar with your device and to plan your upgrade to which WM6 to use in time.
First let me convey a BIG thanks to the creators of the ATOM exec WM6 & 6.1 ROMs. But the Owners of ATOM exec has limited choice of works as far as WM6 or 6.1 ROM goes. GARMIN & nhocbanme can you help us with more options. Can we have your ROM also for ATOM exec besides ATOM ot PURE... Thanks

If you just used the search button you can find the WM6.1 for Atom Exec.

There is only one person in this whole world for AtomExec WM6.1 WWE. The ROM is still not perfect yet that the cause may be the original machine and drivers were not well designed.
Don't tell me you have a perfect solution.
My AtomExec still freezes quit a bit under either WM6.0 or WM6.1.

I don't have a solution to your problem so don't even ask for a perfect one. WM6.1 had just recently been released here in xda-dev and your asking this early for a better solution? Isn't this the same case when we all have the first taste of WM6? everyone goes gaga asking for a perfect ROM wherein they should be thankful enough for the ones who had given new life to our devices. Fixing bugs one at a time, developing and still researching how to make the ROM's clean.

I will buy any pocket PC, which is equipped with Nvidia's APX 2500 mobile processor.
Lets not get lost in the real issue... 1st of all we must thank xda-developers for giving a new life to our ATOMs... my only concern was can we have more versions of wm6 or 6.1 for ATOM Exec. ... ROM from GARMIN or nhocbanme would be welcomed.

Be patient mate if you want you can learn how to cook as well, im trying to do it right now hehehehe. Hopefully one of these days I can create my own ROM.
