I have the P4000
Bootloader: titan_SPL_2.40-olipro.exe
Carrier file: dcd Telus Carrier 20080706.cab
Radio: Titan Radio ROM 3.42.30.rar
Rom: dcd_titan_3.2.0.exe
Kitchen: dcd_titan_kitchen_3.2.0.rar
Everything was working well with DCD's build, but yesturday I noticed that none of the outside buttons worked except for off/on (top right).
I reset the phone a few times, still same thing. I turned off the phone isntead and removed the battery then put the battery back on, and restarted and all went back to normal.
It's happening today again.. None of the buttons worked except the power and the weird thing is when the phone's sleeping, and I press the power button to bring it back up, it goes straight to the Message center..
I just took our the battery again and restarted and its doing the same thing.. I went to settings to look at the buttons assignment and they're all assigned correctly.
Anyone?
Oh and I even checked the button lock option and put it on not to lock any buttons, still no go.
Ah crap, is this a known issue with the Titan?:

Oops! I turned off the jog button and now only get a white screen w/ part of a path name. Wasn't sure I wanted it and turned it off. How can I turn the icons back?
Where did you find the setting to do this?
Had PPC 2003, installed XDA-developers unlocking software with serial cable w/ power shunt, installed OK, shut off unit for required 1 minute, turned it back on. Got msg phone was locked, yes to unlock it, saw lot of new icons on screen, check them out. Contacts and Calendar buttons had extra icons & didn't know what that meant. Check out the new icons again, found one for Jog Button, think I selected Options and turned off the other icons it offered. Wanted to see what it did. Didn't find any instructions.
Jog button features reappeared after a cold boot. Won't mess w/ it again!
Hey Guys,
Using 2.06 SE ROM, 1.18 Radio and whatever extended rom you like (even a blank extended rom), whenever I press the power button on my device, or if it turns itself off after the default 3 minutes, it wont turn back on!
It turns off, the green light keeps blinking every few seconds...but when I press the power button the screen stays black and the green light stops blinking. I have to soft reset the device to turn it back on.
Strangly enough if someone rings the phone it will wake itself up.
It doesnt exibit this problem when in the cradle.

Jez.
Hi! i have this same problem:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13789
i hope this weekend correct it.
Hmm...this is so weird.
Ive just taken everything out of the extended rom, and hard reset. The problem went away (i can power off/on fine, with or without cradle. I can now leave the device for 3 minutes so it powers itself off, then power it back on with no problems).
I then put all the cab files back in 1 at a time until my extended rom was identical to before (when I had the problem)...and guess what...still no problem. I dont get it...
A few months ago I dropped my himalaya all appeared to be well except the power button stopped working. After I opened it up to see what was going on, I found the switch to be missing.
Anyway no real problem except having to press green button to wake the thing up all the time.
So today I thought I'd try WM5 but without the power button I can't get into bootloader. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
I fell asleep next to my phone one night and when i woke up and tried to wake up my phone the volume menu opened up and acted like if i was pressing the volume bar repeatedly. I turned it off and on again and once it boots into Windows the same thing, if i try to press volume down it will and it will go right back up again. The Volume rocker button is fine and not stuck. I found out though if i hold up and down before windows mobile boots up it will allow me to operate as normal but once i let go It goes back to the volume going all the way up. I have flashed different roms to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas to what could be causing this?
I just started having the same problem with a Samsung Omnia 7. It fell into some water, let's say it was a bucket, i pulled it apart and thoroughly dried it. Seemed to work perfectly for a few hours, now the volume thing.
Our HD2's hard buttons are not invincible and I learned that the hard way. After lots of use on my phone the send, home, end, and volume down buttons stopped working. I also believe my end button is stuck on because it always boots up on its own, meaning I can't shut it down and leave it off. I have to take the battery out of it.
My advice is if you can find a way to use "soft" buttons to navigate your phone do it and save yourself the hassle of breaking the hard ones for when you need them. Good luck!

I had a few drips of water it my hd2 and a couple days later, I rebooted and after it rebooted, the volume is stuck on UP. I took it apart. I has nothing to do with the button itself as I removed the button and it's still stuck. Still no solution yet.
Hi,
Did anyone find a solution for this? I had to hard reset my HD2 couple of days ago. After the reset, I installed all the apps, one after another. The phone worked fine for a day, until this afternoon when it started acting crazy. First symptom was that when you type some numbers of the "Phone" screen to look up a contact, I was not able to delete the using the back button. Other keys like up, down, left, right too didn't work in the SMS compose screen. I restarted the phone thinking that it would resolve the issue, but worse. The volume control showed up just after the boot and the "volume up" tone was constantly going off as though I was pressing the volume-up button constantly. I tried rebooting and remove the battery, SD etc, uninstalled few programs, but to no avail.

Hi,
i recently bought 2 Galaxy S wifi 5.0 as there was a deal going. first one worked fine but a few days later and i've opened up the second one to find the screen isnt working.
its stuck at the 'select locale' screen from the initial setup with me unable to scroll and select any options. the back and menu keys don't work either although the home button seems to be doing something as the keys light up when pressed and it also works in recovery mode.
The volume key works as i can see the media volume going up and down when its pressed, it also worked when i booted into recovery mode to try a factory reset.
i can see the media scanning running after bootup and when i plug in the usb to a computer it appears with the USB connected (but ofc i cant press the button) so i think the system is running fine?
the power button seems a bit stickier than the one thats working fine and also when i hold the power button in to shut down the device (unable to press power off) it comes straight back on. is there way to force a shutdown rather than reboot?
just wandering if theres anything i can do to hard reset? im a bit reluctant to flash a stock rom / gingerbread as i have on the other one if the screen is just dead but thought id see if anyone had any ideas of anything i can try?
cheers,
Well, I would return it since it is still under 30 days (where did you get it?).

yeh ill probs take it in tomorrow just wandered if there was anything i could do to double check the screen was definitely goosed
