So apparently you can't get HTC Home weather working on WM6.1 without bricking the phone, as the patched HTCHome DLL freezes the device. So it's back to 6.0 for me. Anyone know where I can find the last offical ROM for DL? The one right before this latest WM6.1 release. I don't remeber what the the version number was, and all download stickes have switched to the WM 6.1 ROM.
Really Brave...
Man, no offense, but you are pretty crazy to be posting such an easy question. There is a whole section on this website with stock roms.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TitanStockHome
3.35 would be it?
I have HTC Home installed, with weather working perfect. Even with all 6 tabs, and I'm running DCD 3.2.5 with WinMo 6.1
All I do is download the HHC tool, it will download the correct version of home and properly patch it so that everything works. If you install the HTC audio manager you can even control your music from the home screen.
So it's not an issue of not being compatible with 6.1, it's a matter of using the correct version of Home.

Why aren't you guys using HTC Home Customizer to set up the custom weather, or am I missing the point? You just need to add a custom city, correct?

Please excuse what might be an obvious question, I'm still knee-deep in n00b...
I currently have a Verizon 6800 running dcd 1.6.8 (1.40 radio) and would like to upgrade to 3.1.2. Is the new build stable? Would you recommend this upgrade?
Unfortunately all the guides I have found talk about upgrading from a stock rom. Are there any references for upgrading from a (really) older version? Can any offer any advice on how to upgrade my phone?
Thanks.
yea its great so far......
All i would do is relock your phone flash back to stock then flash with the new sprint rom but do not let custiomations run then put the 2.40 bootloader on cook up a new rom flash and your done. in the short ver. hope this helps you
Why tell him to go back to stock when he doesn't need to? He needs to unlock with 2.40-Olipro, then he can run either the Sprint/HTC update or the Alltel/HTC update, just making sure not to let either customizations run. Then flash dcd's rom on top and you'll be good to go. It's optional, but I recommend that after you flash dcd's rom, flash the 3.39.10 radio as it's a lot better than 3.35.04 (the radio you'll get if you run the Sprint update) or 3.37.20 (the radio you'll get if you run the Alltel update).
no no no, do not go back to stock.....ever. unless you are sending it back, then yea, you should go back to stock, but there are multiple issues that you could run into with going back to stock.
How come there isn't a guide for going from cooked rom to cooked rom? If there is one can someone point me in its direction or provide the steps here?
There are guides... For each of the ROMs it's rather explicit in the Wiki and each of the developer's threads upon what bootloader you need. That's all there is to it.
Thanks gcincotta.... Quick question tho. Should I run the titan relocker before i try to unlock with 2.40?
Also, I have copied down my ESN, MSID, but cannot find my MSN(???) referenced by the wiki. Is there any other information I will need to reauthenticate my phone after the upgrade?
Thanks for the quick help and all the responses...

No, there is no reason to relock the phone. The only reason you relock the phone is if you need to flash and boot stock roms and radios signed by your carrier.
I believe you mean your MDN (Mobile Directory Number) and it is located in EPST under NAM Settings. You should be good.
thx gcincotta... upgrade worked like a charm... much faster and gps is so nice.... great job to all.
wow i feel like a noob but havent flashed from the start in a while. I unlocked and upgraded to an older 6.1 ROM. Now i want to flash the upgraded radio and a newer ROM. Dont i have to re-lock before flashing the official sprint ROM for the radio then flash a kitchenROM?

I'm not sure, but when I did it, I did NOT relock the phone. I did have to unlock using 2.40Olipro, but i did not have to use the titan relocker.

I think I have to second that. I am pretty sure that whenever I have flashed a "stock" signed rom I have not ever had to relock the phone. I only would think about relocking if I was sending it back to verizon for whatever reason.
ANyone have the Alltel Stock Rom available yet??
I would love to try some of these new rom's that are being cooked up but would like to be able to go back if something happens.
It's not up on the wiki yet. Keep checking back on this page to see if anyone updates it with a download link to the alltel ROM. There is a spot for it in the wiki, but no link.

My Touch Pro will be here Thursday. I'm jumping over here from the Titan thread and trying to read up. Did you find an answer to your question. i was under the impression that since the cdma versions are so new, there is no good unlocker version yet to try a cooked ROM. again, i could be wrong. i was a DCD user for a long time and hoping to putting something similar on my Pro.

Alltel rom
ANYONE have the alltel rom dump yet?
i have been away form teh board for a while
what i need is a stock full radio and all rom incase when i test the new roms it screws things up royally.

Why not grab the new Alltel radio/rom from HTC here.... http://www.htc.com/us/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=200&act=sd&cat=all
Thread on this.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544052
Then go with a custom rom.
I tried out the new Alltel rom a week or so back. It actualy seems faster than the stock rom. But i have gotten to where i like titanium better so i didnt stay on the updated rom very long. The best part about this is now i can simply flash to this update and get the proper radio and rom for warranty puposes. Good news for us Alltel geeks.
Current ROM: Vodafone 1.72.161.3 (82124) WWE
Current Radio: 2.07.51.22_2
Just got my HD2 today after swapping it for my TP2! very happy so far.
I Wanted to get an EnergyROM on it straight away as it is currently running some Vodafone branded rom.
The thing is my radio version is currently 2.07.51.xx... So from what I understand I need to flash Radio 2.07.50.
But If I flash that radio will it be compatable with the current Vodafone ROM? Or could it cause the phone to not boot?
I have checked the radio thread for compatability info but couldnt make any sense of it.
This all seemed so much simpler on the TP2... can anyone put my mind at ease here?
One other thing I'm worried about is the HSPL.
My current version is 1.66.HSPL
Am I right in thinking I need to use HSPL2 to flash HSPL 2.08?
Sorry for the extra question but I'm still a noob to all this and where the TP2 seemed like an easier first flash... Flashing the HD2 seems much trickier, riskier and with more variables.
Can anyone just clear up the above points for me? The more I read the more confused Im getting

First get HSPL 3 from here
Then flash the latest radio 2.12.50.2 from here
Now flash the latest ROM and there you are...
top man! cheers mate.
im guessing that radio 2.12.50.2 will work for the current ROM AND the latest Energy ROM?
thanks again for your help... much appreciated
2.12 radio is just the latest radio available mate, i stuck with the on in my sig its all bout personal preference and battery life, signal etc with radio's, but yes 2.12 will work, the rom will advise you what radio to use and are compatible, but i can confirm 2.12 will work with energy ROM's there's quite a few guys in his thread using that radio, you just have to test them for a few days see which is best for you, if its no good drop it down to a previous radio and test again, you shouldn't loose data while flashing the radio either, ( i say should not but back up you're mem card just incase)

Ahhh, Cheers bud!
Thats pretty much what I was thinking (Regarding personal preference with Radios)... but then when I read in the EnergyRom thread that the phone would not boot if using a .51 radio, I started doubting myself and started visualising my very first brick lol.
Anyways,
Thanks very much for clearing things up... Im now back to being excited about the flash rather than being s**t scared lol (oddly enough, the term I usually use for 'being scared' is "bricking it") lmao.
Cheers Chaps.
Gonna do the flashes tonights.

If your phone has a 51 radio installed and you flash a tmous based rom, such as energy, then the phone will hang at boot until you enter bootloader and flash a 50 radio. but don't worry, it won't harm it.

Ive flashed HSPL...no problems.
But now, Im trying to install the new radio using the .exe available at the link provided by nicedude_abad above.
The installer is not in english. Its in Gibberish mixed with chinese characters. Almost like the file is corrupt but I have downloaded the same exe from 3 different links on that page.
Anyone got a link to an english installer for the newest radio?
just get another RUU file and try it that way mate
edit i see its a exe file, erm, i guess because where its from its in his native language, if you have 7zip you can extract the radio file and pack it with a normall ruu,
EDIT just incase you need it still, this isnt the exe, just extract them to the same folder, have phone connected and fire up the RUU follow instructions from the RUU, forgot to upload to my premium account so only 10 downloads

Hi, i downloaded the stock ROM from HTC site RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship and couldnt install it as my HD2 has an O2 build (RUU_Le2_UK_1.72.206.3_Radio_15.32.50.07U_2.07.51.22_2_Signed_LEO_Ship)
I installed HSPL3 and then it installed but kept running out of memory and now i have downgraded my cell. I need to know if i can run android with the existing 1.72 build which doesnt have 2.08 radio. Can i flash a radio or can anyone tell me how to get 3.14 stock without any such hassles
Try a reset failing that a factory reboot should do the trick - its common to have issues after flashing the rom, most are sorted out by the above methods
Stock ROM 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL sir!
Remove your HSPL and reinstall Stock ROM 3.14 (In your case (branded device) use GoldCard technique)
Can i just install radio _2.15.50.14. Will it be compatible with the stock 1.72.206.3 and will i be able to run android on it???

It depends on what are your priority's and taste sir.
Personally the only thing what interest me on Android is HTCSence.com
but this means I can only use/install a Android version from the Desire HD ore Desire Z Build. (unfortunately this is temporary without camera function.)
Well, i use an HTC HD2 International Version bought from Amazon.com, and it seem the religion is from South East Asia. I can't install normally the ROM 3.14 WWE because it isn't compatible.
But i used HSPL and the ROM was installed successfully, i have no error until now.

no, because my device isn't compatible with this rom (htc said that), it won't allow me to install it.
Are there any way to install this rom without error?

Hey shadow,
Would installing this rom downgrade the SPL? Im trying to flash the new DFT hspl for my radar and the 2.05 SPL they include isnt flashable via RUU. Is there another way to downgrade the SPL maybe with an alternative .nbh or RUU package?
Are you going to start working on custom Radar roms now that second gen Windows phones are hacked?
Have you seen the new wp7.8 update that is coming? Its adding resizable home tiles! I believe its only availabe for current 2nd gen wp devices.

you have the TMOUS Omega? you will need to use goldcard method. so, shouldn't need to downgrade OSPL.
about ROM development... see here.
yes, i have seen WP7.8. watched the keynote. it is unknown which devices will be getting it. Tango was only supposed to be coming to Gen2 devices, but it is coming to Gen1, as well... maybe Gen1 will get lucky? only the future knows.

I suppose anything's is possible. It 7.8 is still the same windows CE kernel. Wp8 is going to use windows NT kernel, what windows 7 and 8 PC is based off of :d!
Right now I am living abroad and don't have a credit card so the materials required for the gold card method aren't easily available compared to when I lived 5 min from a radio shack. I just have to wait patiently for a RUU that includes the TMOUS Omega.

I want to ask a question. For the Tmous Omega, when you flash to stock rom, do you have to use Goldcard method? I downloaded a stock rom from this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2094366
And I used some RUU update utilities I had downloaded before with this rom and it starts to flash the stock rom but stops at 5 %. Now actually it seems the phone doesn't boot anymore to windows and just boots back to the bootloader. Any ideas?
