Has anyone managed to get this working?
I've read in the forum people have on the x7500, but has anyone on the Ameo. I used Olipro's excellent unlocking tool and then put the ATHE_T-MOB005 on it and now can't get GPS to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I see it's not only me with this problem.
Thanks
Run QuickGPS, Update the GPS location files.
Check the config of the GPS under the settings menu.
start a GPS/NAV program, config it to use the settings configed in the settings menu.
Verify the NAV program sees the GPS
Wait for the GPS to lock (5-10 min) depending on your location.
Tried all that but not working. Followed advice found here: http://www.x7501.com/forum/X7501-GPS-Issues-1184315093.html but still no joy
Reflash the RadioROM (Search forums for links to files)
No need to unlock the Ameo (at least not in the UK!) and GPS working fine with WM6
I followed G4Medic Step-By-Step instructions on how to install this rom , I used OliPro2.4. Are there any addition actions I need to perform to fully install this ROM?
It does not display any bars by the reception status and I am using 3.37.35. I had the MR1 update from VZW. Would I need to download the latest Radio? If so, I don't have an SD card how do I go about manually installing that single file that comes with the RAR?
Anyone know where I can find the fully make this rom functionable with the 3.2.6 DCD Rom?
Thank you in advance guys...
Use 3.3.4..........

Dude, just use DCD 3.3.4. Until No2Chem makes Nuerom3 again.
The radio is compatible, but the first question anyone will ask is did you install the carrier cab? I always dial *228 and program my phone after as well.
Does voice or data work? Did you have to call and authenticate your phone? There are many threads here dealing with going from the MR1 update to custom roms, etc.. Have you searched them out and read through?
Everything works fine , I didn't even install the carrier cab and it was working fine ( Just installed it now ) No signal bars appear , before they showed up all the time with full 2/3 bars most of the time.
Anyone have info on the touchflo program that enables it to work on landscape mode?
Is it better to install the new 3.42.50 in terms of single strength etc? Re-flashing it with a USB do I have to revert to the older Olipro?
Thank you in advance , im a extreme noob to this forum and scene of hacking cell phones sorry :|. Thank you for being patient though guys.
Do I understand right?
Everything works fine.. Internet works, Text messages work, MMS works, Phone works... You just dont get any bars?
do you have the signal icon with no bars, or is the icon not there at all?
Now that I tried messing with MMS. I just figured out that it doesn't work , when I open up Internet Explorer it doesn't even ask me to connect to the data network I think it just automatically connects. Other then that everything is working fine.
About the signal bars , it doesn't display any bars until Im in a call or while im sending a text. Wierd...
My WiFi seems to not work either it says "Cannot connect to the network. Check your network and service provider settings and try again." Is that my device or is that the Wireless LAN I am trying to connect to?
Well I upgraded to DCD 3.2.4 and 3.42.50 radio rom. For some reason now I cannot get a connection through WiFi , it gives me errors such as: Cannot obtain a server assigned IP address. Try again later or enter and ip address in network settings. It also says it cannot connect to the network at times.
I am on the Verizon Wireless network. Thank you in advance for your help.
Anyone???????
Did you install the customization?
do you have wifi router install
If you have WiFiRouter installed, wireless will not work until u remove it from the list.
ill find the cab you need to fix it the wifi router changes reg files and theres a cab around here that fixes it
I installed WMWifiRouter im not able to remove it from my programs list no matter how I try. That shouldn't be the problem either way because it did this before I even installed the software.
if you dont have access to your router you have to wait until your connection/ip clears out.
if you do have access clear out your ip from router setup and reconnect
Here is the fix i found the cab.
Installed CAB still same problem: Cannot connect to the network. Check your network and service provider settings and try again. Also cannot obtain a server assigned ip address. Try again later or enter an ip address in network settings.
Anyone can help?
I really need my WiFi to work .... if it costs to fix this problem I will.
Did you install the carrier cab?
I have had the same problem since upgrading to 3.3.4 from 3.2.6. I ran the carrier customization and everything else works just fine. I have DCD's version of the 3.42.50 radio. The wifi switch is on and if you hit wifi in comm manager the icon blink on and then off in about 1 second. I don't have wifi-router installed. I'm kind of lost at the moment, but haven't had a chance to downgrade to 3.2.6 to see if it works again to rule out the wifi radio being dead.
Same Problem
I am in Canada and have the Mogul (Telus P4000) with DCD 3.2.5 Radio 3.42.50 and the WIFI is NOT working and I have NEVER installed WiFiRouter.
Is it a radio version problem?
Any help would be appreciated
same problem here, I updated the ppc6800 to the last rom from sprint 3.35 with dcd 3.01 from bell and still same thing the wifi is not working.
is it one hardware problem or can I fix with with a cab file ?
DCD 3.0.1 is so old. Use 3.3.4 or 3.2.6 instead and do a reflash to fix the problem.

I have downloaded dcd Bell Carrier 20081031.cab
what version is it ? and how do I apply it to the phone ?
thank you
Here is a quick tutorial for Verizon customers who receive phones with MR1 or MR2 so they may enable aGPS functionality with custom roms. Users who try to update Radio and ROM directly from MR1/2 will not have aGPS functionality and will need to roll back to stock 6.0 rom then reload radio and custom rom.
Thanks to GC's aGPS tutorial, MrTek and drewcam888.
1 - Use Nue's Re-locker to set bootloader to SPL 2.07
2 - Use a SDcard to flash back to Stock VZW 6.0 rom
3 - Use nueSPL-2.47 to update bootloader
4 - Use SDcard to flash latest Titan Radio
5 - Use SDcard/RUU to load your choice of custom ROM
6 - Use QPST to set aGPS ip settings in config (use GC tutorial)
7 - install the aGPS.cab
8 - Possible need to call VZW to reset Akey
9 - Phone is fully functional, with aGPS working correctly
Does anyone have the aGPS.cab that they can upload to rapideshare, megaupload, or the like? The link keeps timing out for me.

Actually, what might be a good recommendation is to Do the unlock, and Flash BEFORE you switch to the refurb phone.
When you receive your refurb, you dial #228 on the refurb phone, and choose option #3. This walks you through moving your service to this new phone.
During the process, a new A key is also set I believe, so if you unlock and flash before you do the process you won't need to call VZW for the aKey.
Man, i have tried this tutorial step-by-step about 3 times, and still no working GPS.
i relocked, downgraded to stock VZW rom, unlocked to 2.47, upgraded to 3.42.50 radio, upgraded to Titan Reloaded 1.42b Rom, tried QPST settings for both verizon (installed GC aGPS cab), and telus (telus cab), and still no GPS. I only have Google Maps installed, but it just sits there on "seeking satellites". location is "on", program port is "com 4", hardware port is "none", baud is "4800", manage automatically is set, and "managed by windows" is set in Google maps. I never get any satellites using either verizon or telus settings.
Can anyone help!?

try a program where you can see satellites trying to connect like mGpsCmd.exe i use this sometimes to prime my gps.
good little write up
I downloaded GPSViewer and hit "Open GPS". I see lots of characters scrolling through...
SGPG.. codes. When i click on the GPS Status tab, every once in awhile some red circles w/ numbers pop up for a sec and then are gone.
After waiting a few minutes, I sometimes get a red circle that stays on the globe, but they never stay long term. Like it's detecting these satellites, but never actually locks on. How do you know when you get an actual lock?

good job! when you get a lock the numbers and little red circles will turn blue. do this right after a fresh soft reset. it seems to work better after soft reset. your gps is working, it just needs to get a lock.
Hi,
I would like to try out one of dcd's roms.
At the top of this link
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=dcdtitanroms
there is another link to dcd's roms but all of them are contained in an exe that use a USB method to flash. Is there a way to extract the rom from the exe so I can use the SDcard method mentioned above? (or can dcd roms be found ready for the SDcard somewhere?)
---------------------
EDIT:
From the first post:
" 5 - Use SDcard/RUU to load your choice of custom ROM "
I see now that an "RUU" is an exe that gets the rom over to the phone, so i don't need an SDcard for step 5 with dcd's roms. But you like you can extract the nbh from the exe using winrar.

Hi,
I wanted to use my old HTC One V as a bike computer and remote for my Panasonic camera, but the GPS wont work anymore! All GPS apps/tools show the GPS as enabled, but they cant find any satellites, not even after hours of searching. I tried the following steps to resolve the problem to no avail:
- Went back to stock, relocked the phone, uninstalled the old TWRP recovery, installed two different RUUs, but the problem persisted, everything else works
- Went back to fully modded, installed four different ROMs, newest TWRP recovery, unlocked the phone, etc., still no GPS
- I tried the Ignorance v5 ROM, stock RUU, and CM11, 12 and 13 (everytime I used the correct kernel/boot.img)
- The phone didn't have a SIM-card, so I tried my working SIM, but still no GPS
- GPS was working when the phone was stock and also the Ignorance v5 ROM. After I lent it to a friend, I made a factory reset and wanted to try newer ROMs, thats when the GPS stopped working.
Now my questions are:
- Is there a way to view debug information on the phone, if there is an error? Like more infos, then the standard GPS apps give me.
- Should I check the installed radio and does an RUU overwrite the radio? Does the radio even interface with the GPS hardware?
- Maybe someone has a ROM-Backup with working GPS that I can try to put on my device?
- Is there a way to test the GPS antenna? WLAN, bluetooth and GSM works normal.
Here are my HBOOT/FASTBOOT infos:
PRIMOU PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.18.0000
RADIO-3831.24.01.30_M
eMMC-boot
Kind Regards
No ideas at all? Maybe someone can at least say, where the GPS antenna ist located.
