what kind of battery life can i expect when using a bluetooth earpiece with my 8525. Does it have any kind of bluetooth powersave mode ie. put it in sleep mode and shuts off bluetooth, then when call comes threw it will automatically connect bluetooth.
thanks
I only notice about 1% per 1-2hours power drain with bluetooh on and connected.
depends on the rom tbh.

I used the forum search, but did not find anything but excuse me if it has been mentioned. I charged my 3vo over night, and pulled it off the charger this morning with a full battery. After ten hours of light internet through WiFi and 3G, a few txts, and reading some news, my "what has used the battery" displays that Bluetooth has taken up five percent of my battery even though I have never turned on bluetooth. Any ideas as to why Bluetooth is using power even though it's not turned on?
Hi guys, will need your help.
would love to get your input in your battery discharge overnight when the prime is not in use. i noticed that my prime drops about 10% overnight. i highly doubt this is normal.
my ipad 2 drops about 1% in a day if not used...
also i noticed that when docked, the dock drops about 2% a day and thats even if my prime is fully charged and not in use.
your input would be appreciated.
The last time I checked this -- on the .13 release -- mine drops 1-2% overnight. However, I'm very conservative on power usage and do things like turn off the Wifi when I am not going to be directly using it. I don't have Bluetooth on either and have all apps set to sync manually as far as is possible.
Mine dropped about 2% last night, with Wifi on, Bluetooth off, and apps set to auto-update.
Mine drops 1-2% an hour when idle and docked with wifi off and power savings mode. When it's not docked the battery is much better in idle. When wifi is on the battery idle sucks
Normally overnight I lose 8-10% in battery power. However for the last 4nihhts I've lost 25-30%, looking at my stats the phone doesn't appear to be awake but all of a sudden it appears the drain increases
Please can someone advise
Thankd
if you switch off location and google search in location services you might get alot better battery life, it work for me, over night I would drop 10-20 % now its only 5%

So I just got my Gear S today. After pairing it with my S6 Edge, the battery drained by 40 percent in a couple of hours. This means that to use the watch, I'd need to charge my phone 3 times a day. I've also noticed lag on the phone when paired to the watch. Anyone know why this is?
Make sure you turn off the pedometer which is on by default. It will drain your battery faster than anything. I leave Bluetooth and WiFi on all the time. When I am away from my phone and connected via WiFi my battery drains faster than when I choose not to connect and use my data plan.
How do I turn it off? All I see is pause
Pause is basically off. It doesn't reset existing steps so it's called pause rather than off
you should also check location settings on your phone if you have the find my device feature on. i think it sets it to high accuracy that really drains my battery. i changed it on the phone to power savings.
Hi!
Since short time I've started to use Bluetooth headphones with my mipad 2. When it's on they work perfectly but when I disconnect the BT on my mipad 2, the tablet is all the day with this wakelock. I don't understand how it's possible if I have toggled the BT off. Anyone know how to fix this and how to avoid this wakelock?
For instance, If I left the tablet in airplane mode overnight, BT low power wakelock will be working the whole night draining my battery.
I flashed latest stable rom of Xiami EU. Issue is still present.
